  • Red Patch Boys = Good

    U Sector = Shite

  • are you fucked in the head...?

  • hey man all supporters of TFC are awesome there should be no rivalry between fellow fanclubs of Toronto FC

LETS HAVE A GREAT 3RD SEASON TORONTO 2009!!

  • Heard this chant coming in to BMO Field for last night's win against the Dynamo ... Awesome game! The athmosphere was wet, cold and absolutely crazy!

Keep it up RPB and uSector!

  • He's just trolling, don't pay any attention.

  • Yes, that's exactly why we did it -- to insult the Impact. It's a big plot. FFS.

  • but why can't in french. Toronto isn't a french city. You guys aren't Impact fans and the team isn't from Quebec. There is more Cantoneese being spoken in Toronto than french. Hell there is more Greek spoken in Toronto than French.

It's simply pretentious and an insult to Quebec and teh Impact. It's like you're taking the piss out of french Canada to impress some Americans.

    Lame.

  • wow.. so much for trying to celebrate BOTH of Canada's official languages.

  • Who's this douche? I'm FRENCH CANADIAN FROM TORONTO and a big supporter and season's ticket holder of the Toronto FC! When I came across this chant ... I loved it! It shows the true nature of our country. Keep it up RPG and USector!

For ghrdng: Retourne a ton "pays" Crisse de separatist! Little did you know, there's more than 65,000 french speaking people in the GTA. Not bad considering that your shitty ville de Gatineau has around 90,000 french speaking people.

  • Some facts Frenchie. Gatineau has 320,000 residents. Over 90% are French-do the math it's close to 270,000 French speaking CANADIANS. As for the 65,000 (it's really 57,000) French speaking residents well in a metro area of 4.5 million it's pretty small. Here's the breakdown of languages spoken in Toronto:Chinese: 355,270 Italian: 206,325 Portuguese: 113,355 Punjabi: 99,600 Spanish: 83,245 Polish: 79,875 Tagalog: 77,220 Tamil: 77,060 Urdu: 57,635 French: 57,485 Why not a chant in Urdu?

  • If someone starts a cheer in Urdu, I'll be happy to! Unlike close-minded seperatists, I'll cheer in any language considering that I am fluent in French & English, understand Arabic and enough to get by in Spanish, Italian, Greek and Cantonese.

Open your eyes! Toronto is the most multicultural city in the World! Don't disgrace my French Canadian heritage (13 generations) by thinking you're better than everyone and only your "blessed" Quebecois are the only ones allowed to cheer in French!

  • And next you'll be telling me that Toronto is best soccer city in North America. And you're missing my point. By cathering to a small minority (anglo's with a year of one hour day french under their belts)- you lose the impact of having learnt some Manderin or Italian chants. Imagine how multi-cultural that could be. Instead you headed for the easy feel up.

    Sad.

  • Have you been to Toronto during World Cup? Only then will you realize how crazy this city is about soccer!

I understand your point and I've never agreed with it! If Quebecois were more open to the rest of Canada when they try to promote bilingualism instead of insulting them, than maybe people would be more open to learning the language rather than just learning a cheer!

  • Ya for a 4 week period once every four years.

So Toronto is a better soccer city than Mexico City? or anywhere else in Mexico?

  • Simply put, Yes yes it is

  • mexico is dirty ew hahah toronto is clean bad comparison...... its nothing like a boca juniors game tho

  • i didn't take years of mandatory french classes to not be able to use it in the one frigging instance french could ever be useful

  • Wow, ghr, I've got an answer for you... who gives a shit? The chant sounds awesome.

  • interesting that these people support a team owned by a large corporation eh?

It's like they're wal-mart greeters-- but they pay to chant songs about the corporation.

  • We'd been chanting non stop for over an hour at that point, which is why our voices sound like shit. Has nothing to do with our grasp (or lack thereoff) of French.

  • what? they don't speak french in canada??? you are dumb

  • anglo's trying hard to chant in french.

    sad.

    Love the empty seats.

  • your dumb look at the other half

    they only oppened one half
