  • Actually, cocaine is not legal in the Netherlands.

  • and the thing is the drug cartels want to topple the government

  • thats bullshit theres not that much cartel members and theres way more military

  • @VEGANSEATMEAT69 its true. They r just as supplied as their military plus they grow in numbers daily.. even tho military is a bit crooked.

  • 10:53 of garbage. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WTF THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. GOD IF YOU ARE GOING TO REPORT SOMETHING AT LEAST KNOW WHAT THE FUCK UR SAYING.

  • drug cosumers are as much to blame as the suppliers.

  • I agree with TYT. I'm a Mexican living in Mexico and yes, if the drugs do not become legal, the problem won't stop but will grow. Also, it's so sad to know that too many people is willing to make money by the illegal drugs. Also, if the drugs consumers in US and in Mexico know that there's a lot of inocent blood involved, maybe lots of them could stop using them. Our President started a war without a good strategy and today, we're living the consecuences.

  • @TheIsrael1972 yup totally agree wit u

  • the american media sucks!

  • This is That Idiot Reagan's fault! And to top it off, the moron gave 3 Million illegals Amnesty! What an IDIOT!

  • @deeppurple28 You are 120% right. I worked in that Ronald Reagan Amnesty program for a year in 1987.. It was known that most of illegal alien applicants were liars. I had to help legalize liars while working from a Catholic Church. I quit in disgust when I noticed that was the GOP and Catholic Church policy. I became an Union Man again. F the GOP bullshitters.

  • WHAT ABOUT THE BORDER???

  • wow, I've never seen anyone mispronounce Cuidad Juarez that bad. I hope he was kidding. Oh, and it's the Sonoloa cartel and the Gulf cartel that are the two competing cartels, not los Zetas.

  • dont drink mexican water... dont do mexican drugs

  • Meth addiction went up 40% in the US last year. Drug addiction goes up 20% in Mexico every year. The drug cartels make 10 billion a year, and that number is growing. More and more cities in Mexico are being taken over each month by the cartels.

The time is near my friends. The last several decades have been brutal, but its coming to an end. It won't be pretty, and there will be lots of blood shed, sadly, but at least its going to happen. Drugs will be legalized in 10 years max.

  • if you put your troops at the border americans will unleash a full scale war and risk the lives of the troops americans believe they have the best army in the world but many of the troopers are highschool or future college students while this narcos are professional murderers think first U.S. instead legalize all drugs it will be a blow to the drug sicarios oh and the wall it will make easier the job to the traffickers and don't criminalize illegal immigration this will fuel more this problem.

  • kids with guns, hahaha

  • who cares about all this racist bullshit when the world come to an end in 2012.

  • @alexrod830515 you still beliveing in that lol

  • the goverment is into the drug problem so calm down us isnt helping shit the economy is bad how could they stop the drug plus US need immigrants for farmers so dont think the US is guna completely stop it there just guna say they did

  • Right now its EVERYONE against Los Zetas. Golfo, Sinaloa and La Familia Cartel have all joined forces to fight Los Zetas.

  • if you say turka in spanish, that means dick

    "the turks" LOL

  • its called Thug Life not gang"

  • I dought this violence will ever spread to the U.S because Mexico is tainted with corruption and few resources, but the United States keeps a clean and powerful government.Excluding them from any major threat.

  • this fuck couldn't pronouns ciudad juarez.... what the fuck. am i the only one that notices how hispanic wanna be Americanized this ass hole is... fuck this ass hole.

  • @thepervertable Cenk isn't hispanic.

  • @thepervertable Because he is a Turkish douchebag that cant even speak his own language.

  • You don't have the first clue what is really happening out there do you?

You really don't care if this country survives do you?

  • kokain isn't legal in netherlands, pot and some shrooms are

  • This is why immigration should stop. Prevent this sickness from spreading to the civilized world. Let these low life scumbags kill eachother.

  • haha Yeah ,You better be scared......

North America is gonna be a Mexicans World soon

  • dont trust mexican police 35% of them rob you and even kill innocent people

  • @TheCooliPodTouchGuy thats only for mexicans linked to gangs and some way related ot the black market tard

  • @sparkalanio nigga please, did i say that 100% of them are robbing and killing people.. uh NO! so shut the fuck up, and has your bitch ass ever been to mexico, i have and we got stopped by the police for no reason and we were almost robbed

  • @TheCooliPodTouchGuy More like 80%!

  • @TheCooliPodTouchGuy

I'd say its much more than 35%.

  • @TheCooliPodTouchGuy A Mexican undercover police officer stated that 70% of the police officers are sold to the mafia, the other 30% are new policemans. I'm a Mexican living in Mexico, and unfortunately I've seen too many events in which the Federal Police take money from the civilians using their power in law enforcement. I don't think we will win this war, because our President started a war without the necessary resources. Our law enforcement is very, very, corrupt.

  • Just go central-south of mexico, it's so beautiful, probably my favorite country.. and the food is amazing. Just avoiding the north is probably a good idea

  • Comment removed

  • Good thinking but it's not that easy. Legalizing goods like alcohol and marijuana led to decreasing addiction rates but it doesn't work with harder stuff like coke or even heroine because it's way more addictive. Also unlike Cenk's statement coke is not legal in the nethlerlands.

  • Who the fuck are these clowns? Learn about your material before you fumble through it on camera jerk offs.

  • Most of US citizens living abroad live in Mexico.

Ciudad Juarez is where the Jewish owned maquiladoras are.

  • What you saying about the Jewish?

  • .. Tourist can still go to mexico., this is targeted violence, they dont just kill anyone who is walking down the street..a

  • legalise drugs! chke out the evil gangs that cause all the murder and robbery..start taxing it. the FDA and CIA like the "war on drugs" just as it is...a profitable business!

  • oh god its anas cleavage MASSIVE BONER

  • that's why i love mexico.....it's constantly in a state of flux and evolution. it's completely vibrant, never static.

  • did he say cocaine is legal in the netherlands too? thats so not true, btw even when legalized the production needs to be taken under survey. due to bad management in the netherlands small producers were dicouraged and marihuana mafia started to take over. now there are actually political parties on different legislative levels fighting for either complete legalisation (which has not been realised yet) or completely banning pot, closing coffeeshops altogether

  • FUCK THESE COMMERCIALS

  • Yeah, too right conservative and too right wing....yet they provide Drug gangs with all the cash that makes them powerful.

  • nothing to be scared if youre arent into drugs or gangs...I went back to my hometown (chihuhua) last summer and there was not a problem what so ever, the kllings happen at nigth and to people that have "something" with the cartels, not your average citizen or tourist.

  • There's no such thing as Marijuana Addiction, Cenk. Come on now! COME ON!

  • The Saint of Death. /nod It's highly worshipped in these kinds of cartels and used to be just worshipped in smaller circles.

  • vigilantes!!! that's what Mexico needs

  • It is such a no brainer to legalise drugs. It should be up to peoples' decision wether they want to screw up their lives or not. But even if they will partake in these substances, what is the difference between now and then? People will always use drugs. Look at alcahol. It is a drug, but in liquid form. And every person on the planet knows of someone who abuses this drug with bad repercussions. Legalise the stuff. It's the only solution.

  • It isn't that simple. Deaths due to alcohol didn't become a real crisis until the late 1900's due to the invention and availability of the automobile. Innocent people die directly from drunken drivers. That is why driving drunk is illegal.

Cocaine and heroine addictions, for centuries, have been the culprit of billions of deaths due to drug induced violence. That is why many industrialized nations have prohibited these drugs.

Tobacco doesn't pose a threat to innocents as well as Marijuana.

  • Well, Tobacco odea cause deaths in the thousands each year, just not directly, slowly. And yes, the innocents get damaged and exposed to this stuff too. Take babies for instance. Most mothers (including mine) smoked around me every day until I voiced my grievance with it. So it does pose a threat. Also, birth defects happen a lot due to smoking.

All I'm saying is that people cherry pick the 'drugs' of all sorts to suit their convenience.

  • Second hand smoke is not really a death sentence. It isn't as healthy as not being around smoke, but to think that one can die simply by inhaling 'lung' filtered smoke is simply not true. At least not in the sense of a few cigarettes being smoke in a poorly ventilated room. The house would practically have to be on fire with tobacco. Birth defects are a product of smoking while pregnant, which I think should be illegal. Smoking definitely causes birth defects to in that sense.

  • where does kasparian get her facts? 100,000 foot soldiers? she is overinflating the numbers, the mex army is bigger than 130,000, probably twice the amount

  • How ignorant are these people? They even said themselves that legalizing the drugs isn't going to stop the gangs. They will boost up their traffic in women, human smuggling etc and they will still fight. Don't compare the Netherlands to America because we have like 10 times the population they do of course we are going to have more addicts. What needs to be done is America and Mexico needs to make serious tactical military plans and go in and take these guys down just like they were an army.

  • I can agree with that only if we fortify our borders to make it impossible, if not ridiculously harder, for the criminals to interact with one another. We can fight all we want, but if they can keep getting support through illegal means due to an open border, the fight will take much longer and cost many more lives. We simply must secure our borders so this illegal activity is boxed in. Then we should look at conquering the next objective: which is to rid Mexico of insurgency.

  • Agreed. Close the border but surround the area and rid it of the cartels. treat it like a small country that has attacked the united states because in a way it has. Those drug dealers are the real terrorists.

  • That make so much sense, it's scary.

  • I know! We just need a politician who is willing to make it a priority.

  • So, when are you running for congress? :0P

  • Haha unfortunantly I was stupid and majored in music rather than something like business or political science so I will forever just be a voice in the crowd of protesters.

  • Even better, because obviously the "highly educated" are pushing us closer and closer to disaster. Maybe we need a regular Joe to step up and be the voice of the people. I'm sure you are much more aware of the negative effects that our government has begotten, than they are. We need a few regular people in congress to add some common sense to all of the new legislation.

  • I agree. I think they should invite regular people once a month to washington to give their input on what the government is doing.

  • Wow! I think their are tears of joy forming in my eyes after reading that comment. You sir, are my new best friend. Thanks for your time. Take care.

  • regular joes on the local level, but not on a federal level...we have already seen what that's like with bush.

  • Bush was not a regular Joe. Do you consider a man worth multi-millions a regular Joe?

  • I really hope US makes it almost impossible for illegal immigrants and kicks out all illegal immigrants. They do nothing just take away from us. I dont mind legal immigrants its just the illegal immigrants.

  • I'm not too worried about the Mexican drug cartel. If they try anything, the US has 1.4 active uniformed military personnel. We are far more prepared, more trained, and with more advanced weaponry. It would be just like the Iraqi combat. What we really need to do is secure the borders with a nation wide duel 24' fence covered in razorwire(with a 32 foot road in between for vehicle patrols and such) equipped with camera surveillance and tunnel detectors.

Do you think that might help a little?

  • But drug deal inside in USA is bigger.

USA drug addiction is biggest in the world, therefore USA failed in drug deal war inside its own territory.

  • That is why we should have a fence to keep out the foreign dealers. It will not completely wipe out drugs but it will make it much less prevailent, therefore more expensive. Which then we could legalize it, grow it on our own(tax free) and no longer ever have to worry about drug cartels.....

  • But there is a lot of corruption in USA government and police. They are part of the gangs, and need to make money.

Drug cross to USA because USA authorities let it in.

  • Did you read my last reply to you? I answered the problem.

A: Build fence to keep out trespassers.

B: Give the rights to the states to decide if they want legalize marijuana.

Outcome: Less Government control, less drug related crime, less smuggling, less power to drug cartels, more freedom of choice to the states, cheaper marijuana for those who choose to smoke it, a new industry for entrepreneurs to create jobs, and most of all more power to the people. I win!!!!

  • I agree with your points, but not about fence.

    We match, jajaja.

    Regards !!

  • :)>

  • Jajajaja, no problem, man. We are agree to destroy cartels, those criminals are crap.

Bu I don`t like fence. My cousin has a ranch near to border Chihuahua Mexico and New Mexico and I can see all open range. That land belongs to Apache tribe.

  • What mexico really needs is tht you stop sending iligal guns to mexico, and stop doing drugs. that would stop the war in mexico and would stop iligal immigration, Mexico coul start looking for it citinzes when you STOP iligal guns

  • They can get guns from other countries much easier. It wouldn't stop the cartels anyways. They would just have them sent in by another country. I have an hunch that some of the people in the government in Mexico allowed this to happen. Bastards.

  • aha... where could they get guns from???? guatemala???? honduras??? canada??? please USA is the only contry where you get a free ak 45 if you buy a car.... sorry but I would say that some of the people in the government in USA allowed this to happen. Bastards.

  • "USA is the only contry where you get a free ak 45 if you buy a car."

I'm hoping that comment was a metaphor because that is simply not true.

And did you just imply that Mexico couldn't get guns from Guatemala or Honduras? I bet they can't get them from Brazil either, huh? You are not using facts.

  • It was not a metaphor... watch?v=RfhxnZIIvss , let me clarify, we are not talking about Mexico, Mexico can get weapons anywere, we are talking about the cartels, please let me make that distiction. Whether the cartels could get weapons from china or brazil is unimportant, what is important is that 90% of bullets that have killed honest Mexican policemen come from the USA...

  • I am sorry, my mistake you do not get a AK 45 when you buy a car, you get a AK 45 Whan you buy a TRUCK, sorry my mistake.

  • Ak 47 not 45 :P

Well, as awesome and funny as I think that is, it is his right to give a gun to a person if those people, by law, haven't lost their right to carry a weapon due to felony charges. Also, I doubt that we are the only country in which a person has ever traded a gun as an incentive to buy. Plus, it wasn't the government giving the guns away. It was a civilian using legal means of trade. And that is fine by me.

Where can I find evidence that "90% of bullets... come from the USA"?

  • ok ak 47, I do not know much about guns sice they are outlaw in mexico... I do not know but it seems that those who have not lost their right to carry weapons are smuggiling them to mexico. you may be right about the incentives to buy, however, i would argue that America is the ONLY so called first world nation where you could get a assault rifle so easily. I do not really care about the usa, but when there is a war in my country and USA is giving 90% of the weapons, then we have a problem sr

  • First of, the gun he was giving away was modified to be semi-auto, there fore it is not an assault rifle. Second, who is smuggling these weapons in? Third, Like I said in the original comment you replied to is that if we build a fence illegal smuggling, of any product, both directions, would be severely crippled.

You still didn't give me evidence of the 90% American bullets portion. You said it "seems" that they are being smuggled from the US. "seems" pronounces opinion, not fact.

  • .usatoday (dot) com/news/washington/2008-08-11-mexico-guns_N.htm...

who is smuggling these weapons Americans who legaly buy them and then smuggled them to mexico... you need more than a wall in the american side to stop them to cross guns to mexico. We, mexicans, need to enforce the border. But we cant beacuse all our army is fighting a civil war against the American armed drug cartels, who are mainly sponsored by the american citizens who buy illegal drugs.

  • Again, I don't see how a fence wouldn't help Mexico. If it is harder to smuggle the guns wouldn't it be harder for the cartels to obtain them? I agree that anyone involved in illegal activity should be prosecuted, but to think that America is the source of these crimes is moot. If the Mexican government would have been more merciless against the cartels it would not have gotten this out of hand.

What can America do to help? Secure the border, so to keep the drugs out, and the guns in.

    Agree?

  • no, you know America can't stop the illigal drugs

there are high USA officials who are being paid by the cartels; with or without a wall the guns and drugs will still going trough the border

Building a fence would certainly give a false security feeling for American but it certainly would not solve the problem drugs would be more expensive but profits may or may not increase

If the American government would have been more concerned about his addicts it would not have gotten this out of hand.

  • I can't believe I am hearing this! What else do you suggest we do? How else cn we curb this problem? You are giving up the reigns of power to the cartels. Your comments imply that there is no hope. I have given my viewpoint of a way to slow down the violence. I have given, what I think, is the best way to curb it at its source. What do you propose should happen? How would you fix these terrible/unforgivable acts of violence from the cartels? Stop blaming everything but the cause of the violence.

  • The approach that both goverments are using is wrong.the best way to solve this war cuving both the supply and the demand curve, we are fighting the suppliers and putting the deaths, by building a wall you only evade your responsability in this war. what you need to do,which is more expensive than a war,is to educate your drug users and stop making military weapos so abaliave. the demand for drugs is intelastic. cutting only supply will not help

With this approach there is no hope. hope im wrong

  • Well, I don't see how wall wouldn't curb supply. As far as demand goes, education won't do a damn thing. The only way to curb demand is by making the drugs harder to obtain or more readily available within our own states. As for guns, we need them available to the general public. I

  • It is the right of the American people to protect themselves.Guns offer an ample supply of protection against ever advancing technological warfare. If you take the guns away from the people, they will be helpless to protect themselves. I will not take away the right of our people to have guns, but I do think a wall would constrict the flow of guns through specific guarded channels. allowing for more control of what comes in and goes out. Do you really think education will stop any of this?

  • I agree with the speaker. I think it's a complicated situation. What you propose is so basic, tried and tested and isn't obviously working. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

  • Tried and tested? So to stop the drug violence we need to simply make drugs legal? Isn't that even simpler than what I was proposing?

  • Yes, simple but effective. It's the logical way to go. BUt you do make a lot of good and valid points.

  • How is it logical? Effective? Only in theory. Legalizing drugs is an "idea" that may or may not work. A wall, putting a barrier between the seller and buyer, is much more logical and effective. China made a wall that was much less effective considering modern technology yet it work wonders for them. What you are proposing is that we fight fire with fire,,, the only thing that has accomplished is war. Please, prove me wrong.

  • It's proving itself wrong. The war on drugs has been going on since the 60's or something, and it'll never win. Why? Because the demand for substances that give people euphoria will always be there. People like to get high, or drunk or euphoric. It's how humans kick back and relaxe.

The current ways to combat drugs is ineffective, evidently, and should be changed. It perplexes me how you cannot see this. If you legalise these things, the government will gain tax on it and biz will be taken...

  • Also, what I am proposing is even simpler. Create a physical barrier to make illegal activity harder. That can only lead to less criminal activity. It is as simple as it gets. The drug thing should be a state matter not a federal one. I agree with you in that sense. But to think that a physical barrier is not useful in the time being, is bogus. The only way to help Mexico right now is to make it so that both sides cannot coerce. Until then, this terrible human atrocity will continue.

  • ...from underground drug entrepeneurs. The war is clearly against these people. If we take the business away from these villains and make it our own, this would eliminate most of the opportunist drug suppliers. The use is ALWAYS going to be there. Always was. Always will be. It's fight the law cannot win. A lot of highly distinguished people have proposed this idea. I think it's a no brainer to be honest with you.

  • Dude, I have no problems with kicking back and relaxing. Do I think the way is through drugs and alcohol? Depends on who is using. Yes drugs will always be around because anyone can grow them. The problem behind that is sometimes those who use get ridiculously violent. In that sense those who can't keep it under control need to be incarcerated.

My problem with legalizing ALL drugs is that we would then create a larger problem of violent crimes. Marijuana, I'm okay with that. But not all drugs.

  • Do you realize if people stopped being f**ked up and stop doing these drugs...then there would be none of this...DONT BLAME MEXICO...where do you think the cartels send the drugs too...US here in the USA! Its our fault! Stupid 18 yr old kids doing cocaine at frat parties are causing this!

  • Th people of Mexico need to stand up and deal with this!!

If weed gets legalized in the U.S I want to be able to buy from our own growers, I want United States weed, not Mexican weed.

I want the legalization of marijuana to revitalize OUR economy.

  • Another fucking retarded thing, you're not gonna legalize drugs, any authority that does it is gonna get murdered by the drug cartels cause it's their business. Another thing, very high and mighty Americans benefit from the drug cartel's money, the government uses money from the cartels why do you think they don't do anything about it?

And the addics are the problem, they pay we sell you don't pay we're not gonna sell simple.

  • That's fucking retarded lady, Sinaloa and Los Zetas will never merge it's not gonna happen learn your cartel history, El Chapo who runs Sinaloa was betrayed by a friend who joined the Gulf cartel and they hate each other. Mexico is not a narco state, the wars are between the northen states and the U.S border, go down to southern Mexico you'll see it's not that bad, don't be afraid paranoid Americans.

  • I'm against legalizing in a perfect world.. However, these gangs can not be allowed to win, some way or another they must loose.

It's like Cenk says, legalizing it may cause some problems, but the gangs are certainly a bigger problem.

It's like computer piracy, it cant be fought by "conventional tactics". The only way to beat it is to out-compete it. With services like Spotify, or like Google did in China(free music).

  • drugs gangs arent taking over Mexico idiots.

  • the young turks always bring the heat!!

  • fact, mexico is a big country , the violence is not all over tha place, the problem is between drug cartels and the government which is trying to eliminate them, is not like a civil war lol, and yeah give about 10 to 20 yrs the situation will be more secure ok

  • nobody will help mexico's Cartel problem because Mexico is where our major import of Drugs now come from,Sense Columbia was taken out, (idk there current involment)

America dosnt care, and wants them to continue,if they REALLY didnt want them to exist, they wouldnt,America wants the drug's here,It furthers global Enslavment NWO new world order is apon us,we've been born into it,Fight.

  • Blaaaa...blaaaa....yes I'm going to mexico. So I can fart on Mexican hooker's face. Blaaa...Blaaa...if Mexico was so great than u wouldn't be here joshchavezmarthastewartcornwallace....

  • At least Sean Hannity looks Irish, do you think you do? Are you ashamed to be a latino, pobrecito donde estan tus cojones?

  • Your 're a "sin verguenza" and you know it! Puedes decir "la santa muerte" muy bien pero La ciudad Juarez no? Idiota y mentiroso, liar de mierda, you deserve to work on fox news, Good luck cabron!

  • Why do you, like so many Mexican Americans "act" like you don't know how to speak Spanish when you obviuosly do. Que verguenza cuando yo soy un gringo muy orgulloso, that I can speak a little Spanish, stupid isn't? Your like Mexican Sean Hannity.

  • they're turning to kidnapping for ransom because of the army crackdowns. It's now the #1 country in the world for kidnappings. Stay away.

  • never will legalize cause it will have a lot of money loss.... convenient for national and international interest...

  • thier not fightin the fuckin z thir fightin la linia stuip

  • and los zetas is not a cartel the zetas are the gunn men for the gulf cartel///

  • u fucken white boys have no clue what u saying,,

  • I am a white boy and do know what I am saying. Hay mucho gringos racistas de mierda, porque los sigues? Yo tengo muy buenas relaciones con latinos mi hijo es uno de ellos, tambien mi mujer. Tu tranquilo.

  • Hoahhh...love that game....well sooner or later we are going to have to cause Mexico is losing the war..Anyways, what do u think of when u think of Mexico? DRUGS and ILLEGALS..

  • Idiot, racist, don't ever go to Mexico and stop your little worms from going there.

  • dude wtf bomb Mexico go back to playing GRAW

  • Why not bomb your mother's ass because that's where your stupid tongue is:

Basta con la violenca y despierta!

En serio, no quieres disfutar la vida sin mierda? pero con guapas, si? y buenos amigos? Perdoname tampoco no quiero que tu madre sufrir por tus stupid comments do you? La mala lengua, merece la mala vida, no? Cuidate Chilango!

Y perdoname otra vez.

  • first off its "ciudad Juarez" not chihuarez witch just means city of Juarez

second its 2 cartels competing the sinaloa cartel and the Juarez cartel...los Zetas is the shooters for Juarez just like "los negros" is for the sinaloa cartel

third..they are not going anywhere. there in this to make money, if not to the US, then Canada.

legalizing wont do anything but make them try even harder to bring more drugs from colombia and sell it even cheaper..time to kill some cartels

  • I weren't even aware of how loco it was or becoming..until I watched Gangland last night.

  • chris mathews? more like a dumb ass. chew dad . guarrez.. wtf.

  • legalize all drugs!!!! RON PAUL REVOLUTION!!!!

  • one of my high school friend was murdered by the cartel in the outer city limits of edinburg ,texas.he happen to find 10 kilos stashed in an abandoned house. he sold it for $10,000 to a cartel member which in return riddled both his body and truck with ak47 rounds and left him to be eaten up by ants. we really need military help.

  • It's not a conventional war so, i don't think military would do much good.

  • why whould he sell it to a cartel?? lol...i would have cut it and sold it to white boys and local drug dealers

cartels can care less to kill someone, they will just take your drugs and your life

  • that must have been 1 of the luckiest police chief's in mexico.i live in a bordertown in south texas. so far every single police chief has been gunned down leaving the pd without a chief. they just recently assassinated some new guy that was running for mayor of my grandparents city rio bravo. he was gunned down while he was visiting his supporters. mex cartels,zetas,ms13,tcb,all these stain mexico and now the us...weird how the american gov does not do anything about this

  • It's not really weird. . .drugs bring untraceable money some politicians use(Iran-Contra scandal). Well they are doing something about it now. Once Mexico said they would leave NAFTA, and their was a discussion about legalizing drugs they sent Hilary down there right away. Call me cynical, but i don't think some people want this to end

  • They need to launch armed UAV's on our borders. It's ridiculous that these people out gun our American Patrons

  • The cartels will disappear if you legalize the drug trade. I mean hello!!! Why do you think they exist in the first place? That ten billion dollars would be in the hands of legitimate business men. It would work just like any other commodity.

Yes, we are ready for legalization in this country. Everyone I know from all over the political spectrum agrees on this issue. I would eb shocked you took a poll and the majority of Americans were not for legalization.

  • They may have 100,000 foot soldiers but they still have to cross the border.

  • Its amazing how americans think that the mexican government is actually fighting against drug cartels, amusing really. The mexican government has sold the mexican army to the sinaloa cartel. the mexican army is a PART of organized crime, its only purpose is to wipe out competing cartels in major cities (juarez, nuevo laredo, tijuana). Mexican soldiers also make some money on the side by robbing, extorting and kidnappng civilians. stay away from mexico!!!!!!!

  • Don't say that... all the Becky and Brads of America have to go there for spring and summer break... we're tryin to get rid of these kids man.

  • I'm just tryiing to avoid a tragedy. the mexican military answers to no higher authority, and most of them are thugs, rapists and murderers who didn't even finish grade school (not an exageration, there is no minimum school requirement for mexican soldiers). so far three of my american friends have been kidnappd by mexican soldiers for ransom, one of them is still missing. look for words "secustro express" in google, you'll see these are not exagerations.

  • Your such a idiot. This is not the 1970s, the military is not the problem now. If you want to be enlightened please get back to me.

  • I'm assuming you're living in the hell hole i'm living in to develop an opinion, please enlighten me.

  • I like how you assume. . .in fact how do you know this? Here simple logic. Why would their be so much violence he we where helping the cartels? If we where helping the cartels we wouldn't be violence. The army is fighting them. . .or are you suggesting friends shoot each other?

  • There is violence because the army is supporting ONE specific cartel (the sinaloa cartel) obviously the low rank soldiers don´t know this only the high ranks that are receiving the money. It's a fight BETWEEN cartels, not against them. There's your explanation and there is plenty of evidence, just go to any intelligence report agency like stratfor and you will see by yourself how corrupt the mexican army really is.

  • legalize drugs and the drug war is Won. ask Al Pacino how much he appreciated alcohol being illegal.

  • Dedhedted71

Your type of reckless and unchecked espousal of hatred is the nidus of a bigger ill in this country. It seeds the rampant discontent among the country's poor and under-educated. And it only serves to excuse their individual and collective inability to take charge of their lives.

  • The bigger ill in this country is liberal dreamers like you who can't admitt when they are wrong. Your jibber jabber is laughable. You went from Archie Bunker to William F. Buckley inside of 3 comments. Give it up!

  • Zzzzzzzzz... I was hoping you'd be a bit more of a challenge... oh well... next.

  • Yea, a challenge. lol. Go back to your WWF match. Thats challenging enough for you.

  • Ted...

On second thought, it was fun sparring with you and you definitely threw some zingers my way... it was challenging enough, and I think you're a bright guy.

I don't agree with you on how best to deal with the drug issue, but I can see how there is some relevance to patrolling the border... if this is what you meant. And to be honest with you, I didn't really think you were being racist. That was just me being a jerk.

So how did you know I have a weakness for the WWF?

  • Thats cool man! Guess we all can't agree on everything. However I do feel that our border should be more secure for the sake of all Americans. Anyone named AllknowingGuitarGuru can't be all that bad a person. I'm a total music fanatic. Love everything from Chet Atkins to Frank Zappa. UHHH... No offence but I always say that this country has a WWF mentality. I don't consider that a good thing but hey, I guess its better than watching Jerry Springer. LOL!

  • started to take over
