nice one mate, if there were more parents in the world like you rather than some parents that dont give a shit about what their kids are up to or who they hang around with or just giving their kids a computer game to play then maybe the world might be a better pace to live in
its amaazing how much power a crossbow has compared to a compound bow. And so very deadly and always dead on every shot out to 40 yards. Good luck this season. Have a great time with your daughter. Richard
@TheNerdableVidGuy they do have a bit of recoil, yes, somtimes my shots come off to the left or right, blow back is what you get with guns but it does tend to fire backwards a lil with the crossbow, you just need a steady hand or a stand just to keep that shot accurate. hope that helps.
Did you let your girl know that the animals suffer IMMENSELY when hit with the arrow and that it's selfish and a monster thing to do to kill an animal for no reason but for amusement? DISGUSTING CHILD ABUSERS!
That is an object and it does not move but a deer do!
@Mercy4Wildlife Wow seriously? grow up. You must be an idiot, us HUNTERS use every bit of the animal we harvest to feed ourselves. If it wasnt for hunting, you wouldnt be here..none of us would. Dont watch the videos if you dont like the sport.
@Mercy4Wildlife If you dont like hunting videos STOP WATCHING THEM!! Since the beginning of time man has hunted for food. I dont know of any hunters that hunt for the AMUSEMENT as you put it. Its about being out in nature and putting food on the table.A big thumbs up for this DAD taking the time with his daughter and sharing a passion he has for the outdoors. I bet you eat beef and chicken? Go to a slaughter house and tell me that is Humane and not cruel.
@Mercy4Wildlife hunters are the most consensus people on the planet who give the most respect to animal conservation you moron, go back to your gun fearing pussy vegan retarded hippy friends and stop hating a positive lifestyle that doesnt have to rely on corporation supermarket chains for real food, a deer will not suffer after being killed by a well aimed shot you prick.
Good for you and good for her. I have been taking my kids hunting with me since they were little too. I wish you and her luck and God bless you for sharing these moments with her. It will do both of you good. Remember, take your kids hunting and you won't have to hunt your kids !
Ppl talk about hunting being bad and don't even think about the meat they eat being pinned their whole life then killed. It's obvious they have never been to a processing plant.
That is great to introduce you daugter to something good and pure. I'm glad to see parents that don't let the tv and society raise the kids. I think we all know were that will end up!
Eating factory farm meat is much worse. No only bad for you but the animal never had a good life. The vegitarians should take thier comments to someone who cares. Go be pasty and sickly toghether and leave normal omnivour people be.
Great to see the youth growing up with an understanding of where food comes from.
Your daughter will be far better off having an education in life first hand and experience the wonders of nature and ethics which are all an integral part of hunting.
GOD gave me k-9's for a reason and the reason is to eat meat! I love to see people introducing the young generations to hunting! Good going and good luck next year!
Yes it is sport. But that animal also feeds are family too. You are no better because you get your meat from a grocery store. Get off your high horse. If it weren't for hunting, you wouldn't be here today.
Vegetarians benefit from hunters.Organic farms want hunters to keep rabbits, squirrel and deer from eating their crops before they get them to market for you to buy. Hogs make farmland look like a rototiller went through as they root around for food. Can you say "Habitat destruction"?
@doughesson No, vegetarians do not benefit from hunters at all. There's not nearly enough animals in the wilderness to eat up even minimal amounts of human's huge amounts of harvest. Yet some uneducated farmers may inform hunters otherwise because they see their own profit in danger and they do not care about wildlife animals. But those very few farmers (especialy in the states) who are affected by wildlife animals have other options than having hunters shoot said animals to keep them away.
@fixlix888 If you think so,just don't set up anything around your garden to protect it from squirrels and rabbits, maybe even deer. Then tell me how you would effectively stop them from eating what you grew for your family. I won't stop you from using any method you wish, and you should styop me from using my method of choice either.
@doughesson Now, habitat destruction is done by humans in order to built up agriculture, so humans destroy the habitat of animals for their own gain when there are many other places where they could settle.
But as for hunting it is besides loss of habitat the number one threat to life today. Hunters kill 200.000 million animals every year. The targets are living and undergo violent death. It is a blood sport but should'nt be a sport at all.
Just noticed although your daughter is left handed she uses her right eye to aim, is that normal for left handers? or just a kid thing that she will grow out of? also whats the deal with her bow is that an adapted adult bow or kids bow?
Oh that was sweet. I wish that little girl killed that evil fucking deer! I hate deer they are such evil creatures, did you see the way the deer I fucked the little girls daddy. I wish they sprayed its guts =)
has she killed a deer yet? i started when i was 5 with a crossbow also and i took 2 deer on the same day. 8 point and a doe. im 15 now and i have killed over probally 10-15 deer. =] also prob 30 rabbits turkeys, ducks, and etc. but anyway she is lucky to have a father help her out. i was lucky too.
On the Cianciarulo hunting show and in an Ameristep promo video, this father/daughter team shot a boar when the kid was 5 or so. For the non hunters:You can't start them too early learning where food comes from and how to get the best tasting meat around. You also teach them things about biology, responsibility and ethics with hunting.

Yes. Cavemen and most likely your own parents. The human race didn't claw its way up to the top of the food chain so we can eat salad everyday.
