  • Emma Watson is a very popular young address, better known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films. And just like Brooke Shields, she is also a fashionista.

  • Brooke Shields in the late seventies and early eighties was the equivalent of Emma Watson today.

  • @messybluesboy "Muffin Show." Gilda Radner said the same thing when she was on the Muppet Show.

  • I Love this show... And Brooke Shields in it always gives a nice smile to my face. She looked so nice here. Think of angels.

  • I believe Brooke helped out on some of the puppets, as she had to follow child labor laws for filming and had some downtime.

  • Brooke about 13-14 years old when she did the Muppet show.

  • @bookkeeper57 And she still does things with the muppets/Jim Henson Company sometimes. :)

  • @PersephoneMilneaux Lol. If you're being sarcastic then two thumbs up and +1 internets for you sir.

If you're serious then you are a good example of what's wrong with the modern world.

  • I love The Blue Lagoon, but I love the Muppets even more. WHEN are seasons 4 and 5 going to be released on DVD in the UK?

  • Cruel little rodent isn't he?

  • @drsdino Rabbits aren't rodents.

  • @Stephen10528 Rabbits used to be considered rodents until scientists discovered they were in another order of species. So why don't you stop acting like you know everything just because you had a small piece of information someone else didn't know yet? It makes you sound like a douche.

  • The original story isn't that cute. Trust me, I've seen variants that go along with just how mad Alice's adventures were.

  • Brooke has always being my fav actress and the Muppet show is my fav show since the first broadcast....this must be what Heaven is like!!!!

  • What episode number and season is this from???

  • Season 5, episode 6.

  • Thank you! :) Anyone know when the Season 4 and 5 DVD Boxsets are going to be released???

  • how cute. brooke is so beautiful!

  • The 1999 Jim Henson Company version of "Alice in Wonderland" also featured an brunette Alice in a yellow dress. Speaking of which, the Jim Henson Creature Shop also did the animatronics in "Dreamchild" (1985) the true story behind the story.

  • Hallmark did another version with a brown haired, yellow dressed Alice. That one was good as well.

Apologies if you were responding to someone...

  • i also notices the bunette/brown hair and yellow dress, and wondered if they reused the dress in the 1999 film.

  • Dunno.

It's funny, people now think of Alice the way she looked in the Disney movie. But really, her hair and dress color could be anything. It's never specified in the book.

  • You do have a good point there. But, there WERE illustrations in the book, you know, so that you could be given a good idea on how Alice and the strange things in Wonderland seemed to look in the author's imagination.

  • Very true, but color itself was never actually specified.

I believe that the puppet design for the Jabberwock though was indeed based off of an illustration.

  • I wonder how the Alice in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland will look?

  • Google Image for some picture. The teaser trailer actually came out a few days ago. Alice is blonde in it and does wear a blue dress, but her hair and dress styles are different (makes sense, as she's 17 rather than 10).

  • according to wikipedia she 19 in the tim burton one.

  • Oh, my mistake. I knew it was somewhere there in the late teens.

  • You're right, and I feel like she's much to old to playing Alice (although maybe she'll make a convincing Alice).

  • she sure is beautiful

  • How old was she when she did the show.

  • 15, I think.

  • Actually I think she was still 14. She was born in late May 1965 and this episode aired in April 1980.

  • Comment removed

  • The youngest Muppet Show guest star ever!

  • May 31, 1965

  • It aired in the fall of 1980 in the U.S.

  • According to the IMDB, Brooke's Muppet Show episode aired on April 7th, 1980, but it's not always correct.

  • Imdb may have been going by its airdate

in the U.K. . Muppet Show episodes aired

in the U.K. first and the U.S. second

  • ohh ok. I didn't know they aired in the UK first. Still, that gives us an idea of her age when it was filmed.

  • @Scooterpiety She was 14.

  • 5:45 What does THAT remind anybody of?

  • I saw this episode years ago, but some of it's not how i remember it, but i was a kid back then.

  • Brooke is so pretty.

  • oh sure, have the hippie (floyd) play the smoking caterpillar!

  • Brooke Shields looked really beautiful back then.

  • I saw this one on a DVD. I loved it then and didn't even know fully what "Alice in Wonderland" was.

  • And very hilarious, and man, talk about a desperate rabbit!

  • Thank u for my request!! ;)
