@metsdudenj The judges would have never let him be on the podium,even if he hadn't put his hand down in the S P.I wonder if Brian can still land the triple axel now?

@HattieLovesCattie I doubt that. Had Brian skated clean, he would have been in the top three going into the LP

@metsdudenj Maybe but I still feel the judges weren't gonna let that happen.I got to see Brian skate many times at shows.

@koolaidnhemlock It's like I told my friends who watched this year's Nationals with me....if you're a elite skater and you STILL don't have a nice,round ass...genetically it wasn't meant to be.

Arguably the most gifted male skater of all time. While he didn't perform quads, his technique and artistry were impeccable.

Boitanos sudden step-up into that triple Axel is absolutely breathtaking. I miss seeing jumps like this.. under the new scoring system, with the lesser point value assigned completed triple Axels compared to even failed quads, the quality of the former has suffered greatly in many of todays elite skaters. Watch this years Nationals and Worlds....most likely you will NOT see a triple Axel executed this spectacularly.

That spread eagle sequence was beyond insane...my favorite part of the program. I'd love to see that replace the spiral sequences in ladies...you can't pull your foot over your head to gain points in a spread eagle!
