  • I was LMFAO'ing through this whole video ...you guys screw around just our crew does :-)

We just did a shoot fro a client and charged $2000 ...what do you think is an acceptable rate to do a video like that?

  • Leave John Reed alone ...he's pretty friggin cool :-)

  • Cool show! Thanks for putting it together.

  • Leave John Reed ALONE!!!!!

  • ttooooo little motion blur SHOOT WITH 1/50 please

  • @gandhi770 so u ever think that in a tutorial he isnt looking for a filmic look?

  • the equipment is worth more than the car lol

  • Nice work guys. I see the house you shot was in WIsconsin. Is it correct that y'all are based in Wisconsin? If so, where?

Was this a pro bono gig? If not, how do you structure your pricing for something like this? Thanks!

  • What panel fluorescent lights are you using in the bathroom?

  • For christ sakes, your shooting million dollar homes and you can't afford a fucking jacket that fits. Tony, spend some money on wardrobe instead of just gear man. lmao

  • Seems like alot of work to get a few slider and jib shots of the house. I do freelance promo videos myslef but exactly how much money is involved in a shoot like this? if you dont mind me asking. Seems like a few thousand

  • John runs this program, I think we all know this...

  • @one234569and10 Thank you!!! I get very little credit for all I do... lol. Tony actually gives me a lot of liberty on projects to setup some shots the way I want. Plus, I learn something every shoot.

  • 07:15 lol

  • best video... thanks for tutorial...

  • nice work:)

  • hey i like videos but do you have or could you do a video on microphones for dslr?? I been looking everyone and only place I can finding microphone for dslr are only on website. I'm a photographer so little new to filming side. I just want little information about this, I mostly looking for more professional nothing that amount to the dslr. thank you

  • I like this. A little for the educational, mostly for the entertainment. Shooting stuff, having a good fun time. Not that fake uncomfortable humor from that one infamous episode.

  • You guys are awesome...are you hiring??

  • what camera are u using ?

  • Cool stuff, not sure I can spend a whole day shooting one house tho.

I really like your guys stuff but I have to say this.... When you say no one will buy a house from this video you just sold your self very short. You see I have added this to my company and try to average about 3 to 4 houses a week right now with hopes to go to 3-4 houses a day. I do not take any of my Kessler gear out or any other big stuff but I do just a glide system. You all are awesome keep the Vids coming.

  • My god, John looks just like Jake+25 years from Two And A Half Men :D

  • favorite of all your vids!! love bts,,, like hands on but fun :)

  • see i would love to donate around 50 buks , but i tore my credit card to a few peace's of plastic , sooo i am sorry !

  • john is awesome leave him alone : )

  • im surprised you didn't take more advantage of the golden hour light...

  • wow dude the studio footage is beautiful! Whats changed besides the pro set? What lights are you getting hit with? Even the image looks colour corrected? whatsUP here? EXPLAIN......

  • @fotizome We expanded the set size, we transitioned to a 3 camera setup, Tony and I built that light table, and he added me for a more dynamic feel : )

  • Some of these components look like they're from The Cine City.

Not bad... but not "pro"*. I was going to go this route, but went with a Genus instead. Not regretting it one bit! The extra money was definitely worth it. I can see the Genus equipment lasting a very long time. It's very sturdy!

*I frequently operate other crew's Cine City equipment (matte box, cage, & DSLR shoulder rig.

  • That was your best video yet! Great job guys.

    Dave Dugdale

  • Many thanks for your lesson and your work

I the architect. For myself I shoot video films about my objects. Which, I have constructed.

  • i been trying to do shoot like this for ever now but i cant get any jobs and i live in florida i hit up at less 200 ppl about it but no one wants videos to sell there house any tips to help me out?

  • @LPODDAYUNGEN There are two main avenues of doing real estate video: for the realtor/real estate company or for FSBO (for sale by owner) listings. I would try contacting someone to let you test your skills and put a video together. Then, show it to several realtors in the area and see if anyone bites. Often you have to show them the value before they will be interested.

  • @NextWaveG I totally agree. You need a video to show off your skills before anyone's gonna pay you to do a job like this.

Great episode by the way. Was very funny.

  • Sorry should have replied to @LPODDAYUNGEN in my last comment. lol

  • Great episode guys. Hope you do more like this. Good to see you having a good time and I'd like to see more about how you plan a shoot like this and how you plan your shots, etc. to make editing the final product much faster and easier. Thx!

  • is there somewhere i can just watch the finished real estate shoot?

  • @ChristianHubbard Still editing the video together. Sean should have it done in the next few weeks. When it's done, you can find it on creativeedgepro (dot) com.

  • That was fun to watch! I hope to be doing that someday.

  • You guys should act more professional when working for a client. Love the effort you did on the behind the scene.

  • @fo0g When on paying gigs, we have a much more professional demeanor. This shoot was done pro bono and we already had a good relationship with the client which allowed us to be a bit more relaxed.

  • @fo0g Their kids were there goofing off with us, the home owner's were blasting 80's rock throughout the house, and overall, it was a fun day shoot for everyone. I assure you, we can act like grown ups when needed : )

  • @TheJohnHReed ...what he said :)

  • I think I'd fire you based on that video

  • Good video. This is very informative. Thank you.

  • Looks like a great house, really enjoyed the BTS, and loving the dolly crane shot that you did with the crane fully extended :) The rig looks amazing and I would love it, maybe when Im doing film-making as a job when i'm older I can get a rig like this one. Great episode, really liked this one
