Politicians change positions all the time. People shouldn't be shocked about this. Yes, sometimes it can be due to money, but not always. Sometimes it's the nature of politics (compromise), and sometimes it's due to the nature of the issue itself. But to say all politicians lie as if connotes an inherent flaw in all politician's character is a bit of a stretch.
