you're not going to find them in a hurry unless you disturb them in someway, just use common sense, and don't go doing things you wouldnt normally do, ie. sticking your hand down a hole in a ground that looks like a spot where a snake could hide. You should be fine =)

I remember once, while bushwalking, I saw this HUGE King Brown cross the walking path i was on. It was about 5 - 10 ft away...

we all just stopped and let it go about whatever it was doing, and just stared in awe... it was FUCKING HUGE!!
