@Camsynth Well just goes to show different tastes for different people. But to me, this is kind of a joke in comparison. The first, Matrix, was almost cinematic in style and scope. This is like a 1993 casio keyboard version of the same epic song.

It was originally Grid ]|[ as a "sequel" to Matrix ][ It's more or less a lighter, more dreamy version.

@fraggyx This song was originally called 'Matrix'. Alex Smith put this song on mp3.com in 1999-2000 and mp3.com forced every artist to rename every song that contained a commercially dubious name. Alex changed the 'Matrix' title to 'Grid' which it is known today, even though I believe that Alex named the song before the Matrix movie came out. But majority of the people that know this song know it by 'Matrix'.

@Smokie181 Hmm I guess I was just in the weird transition period, I remember when I spent most of my time there seeing Matrix ][ and Grid ]|[ at the same time for awhile before Matrix disappeared. Was awhile ago so my memory might be faulty on that :P Also, wasn't it originally in 1998? This is pretty sweet, I've started trying to find some of the other fav's from that site! Used to chat with Sergei Pimenov of PPK, Astral Projection, and trance_control on ICQ! haha

@minglee7294 I think the first version was Grid [Trance Mix] known by 'Matrix [Trance Mix]' back in the day. TCP released these names for this song (again you might be able to find the 'Matrix' title versions easier):

Yup, Camsynth and blkdrgn1132 are right actually; this song was originally called Matrix II but was later changed. Blk is also right in this is a revision of the song (changed to Grid ][) called Grid ]|[.

@Camsynth If I'm not totally out of scope now and remember totally wrong, this is the first version - and the other more "smooth" version that is now known as Matrix II Trance Mix is the final version. But TCP decided to keep this version under another name. Please correct me if I'm wrong :)
