The 1st FF Herold is proud of African Am heritage, next is Julian proud of Hispanic heritage, then Kara & Christi (two of our dept's proud women FF's. Yes, we do have our Training Chief, & our State Fire Marshall, Mr. Ron Farr. GRFD prides itself with its diverse & hard-working workforce, all of which are featured in dept activities because of their dedication. All r proud 2be part of the multi-cultural GR community.

@GRFirePrevention yes i watched the entire video, andyes that was why a made my subsequent comment that you read my come, multiculturalism is filth. 2 female firefighters.3%FDNY is female 2%(affirmative action) nationally is female but you have 2 in this video nice affirmative action selecting them over more qualified harder working nonhispanic white males punishing effort, destroying dreams (which by their merit they have earned the right to come true) their dreams and endangering the public

@badgerattoadhall It seems u are not familiar w/ NFPA 1001 which dictates standards applicants must adhere 2. All GRFD personnel meet stringent physical, skill & knowledge req, concurrent with national standards (NFPA). Each job qualification of FF & promotion r in accordance with these stds (NFPA 1021, etc). PSA's were developed strictly on a non-partisian volunteer basis. Those in these PSAs volunteered their time 4the furtherance of public education about fire safety.
