eddie halliwell, check him out. he pretty much invented the whole scratching over anything electronic. watch a few videos of him and i guarantee you'll fall in love
cdj 1000 mk2, in the beginning of the vid when you see the player, it doesn't have the jog dial adjust and also the digital jog dial looks smaller, seems to be the mk2
hmmmm. cool tune, but its not exactly proper scratchin is it, its jus puttin the transform efect on over a short loop haha. dont get me wrong i cant scratch for shit tho
Very true but digital technolgy is taking dance music to uncharted levels. This video isnt realy a good example of what can be done with this equipment, and when done correctly, the things that can be done surpass anything that can be done with analogue turntables. Join the revolution brother...
Hey, great scratching man! I think the chops are pretty even so keep it up! I have a question though, what is the name of the song with the "Ah Yeah" sample? If you can reply, please just send it to me in a message. Thanks!
looking good man, all you need to do is get comfortable with altering the parameter settings to keep your cuts to a quarter beat, same as beatmatching really, just keep the chops in time to the music
ur nearly there dude. do a loop on ur cdj with the scratch effect so that its everlastin. then speed the record thats playin up a bit so that its in time with the scratchin. here's a wee tip. u always have to speed the record up. not slow it down. and isn't ironic that the tune ur playin is called "the tip" by king roc lol. happy mixin man
rather than messin with the jet while scratching.... change the time of the treansformer. and the depth... makes it sound more authentic... and put the scratch sound into a loop so you can just drill the cdj.
thats a sick set up man, how i envy thee. how are you finding the efx500? ive got a kaoss pad but i dont really like it much, its a bit gimicky and i fancy the efx500
where got u the "ah yeah" (at 1:20) from??
