    merci beaucoup beaucoup beacoup .

  • tabarnac je peux pas pronocer toutes les "e" =\ soulement je peux prononcer facilement la e pis la é je crois q les autres se prononcent de la meme facon q la é

    ne c'est pas mon ami.

ahh et ma langue maternelle c'est le espagnol c'est pour ca le probleme lol

  • :) Finally I got to know how to pronounce your French Es properly :D

  • The last three: WTF D:

  • " è " " ë " and " ê " are pronounced the same way, that's the reason why you have heard the same sound for the last three !

  • @imagiers Boy !! Am I glad to know that ! I tried to notice the difference for a long time. God bless you :)

  • omg

  • You have only three sounds, so nothing to be scared !

  • This seems incorrect. Though I would like to assume it is his accent I am hearing, out of context his aigu (é) sounds like "ee" instead of "ay," as heard in cahier, pied, or née. Don't give me negative just because I'm being critical, especially if you don't speak French.

  • I listen again and now it sounds more like "ay." Do listen closely and know that (é) is pronounced "ay."

  • sorry, I'm spanish speaking and i'm trying to understand you... you are saying that é must sound like née? if so, I hear it that way ;) thanks for taking the time of making the comment...

I say this, 'cause on spanish "ay" is REALLY different from "née"

  • Yes. That is just what I meant. I suppose my ears were deceiving me then for a moment. Sometimes accents are not as strong as expected or not so generalized. I was a bit thrown off.

  • yeah, don't worry ;) thanks for the answer

  • French learning is going to be way to hard ....... :( i wish one day i can be really fluent in French

  • How many fucking A's does french have if they have this many E's

  • redeyo99

    Only one 2 diferentes ''A''

    1-A

    2-à

But even me, i talk french ands i don't see the diference between these accents!

  • no there's also "â" like "gâteau" (cake)

  • yes cherry, there is a ''â'', i missed this letter!;) Thank

  • No prob ^^

  • For a minute i thought i was the only one...After the secound one, the sound keeps repeating itself lol

  • As previously said, the last three are pronounced the same way, that is the reason why...

  • In fact, when you pronounce it, ONLY ONE. (excepted â, wich is simply a long "a").

the written term "à" is useful in written french to avoid ambiguities between the verb "avoir" and "à".

On the contrary, in english, you have 8 "fucking"" "A" and absolutly *no rules* to know how to pronounce them!

Very puzzling for non native speakers!

  • @mat6268 Agreed. That's why so many kids here (USA) have "speech problems". It isn't problems, it's just that the language is so damn hard!

  • i would be better if you show us how to move our lips

  • I liked a lot.
