No more income taxes! Yes! This issue alone should have won Ron Paul the presidency of this country ages ago. The fact that Ron Paul is not president right now and the fact that we still pay income taxes means one thing and one thing alone. PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS. Only an idiot would still voluntarily take an annual raping from a government that does NEXT TO NOTHING FOR THEM!
next to nothing for you? im pretty sure it provided you with an education your whole life. it provided you military protection from other countries making you able to sit in that little room ungratefully not learning. They cover social programs like law enforcement, fire fighters, social security, medicare, welfare. Oh and they're responsible for the infrastructure of roads, bridges, waterways. I love Ron Paul, but taxes are good. They balance things. Imagine the 1% without em.
Ron Paul money bomb tomorrow. Check out my video response and go to Facebook and type in "Ron Paul's Ready, Ames, Fire Money Bomb". It is important to donate so that Ron Paul can win the Iowa Straw Poll. Donate for Ron Paul...do it for LIBERTY. Like this comment so that other supports may see that we are raising money for Ron Paul!!!! I'm just a broke college student entrepreneur, and I'm still donating 10 bucks. 2/3 vote of Congress is all it takes to end the Fed and IRS, then hand everyone back their unpaid principal so we can put productive income producers back to work. To anyone using an economic argument, economics is only a jargon to justify any financial position. In other words, it is the art of B. S.ing people out of their money. It's time to flush our Congress like the dirty toilet bowl it has become since 1913.
I agree with the fact we need to correct how we do our taxes. However I like what Donald Trump says about it. We need to tax China first big which would not only start to pull us out of debt but would essentially start bringing jobs back to the US.
just plain truthful logic....beautiful to hear and saddening how little you hear it. got 2 have this man as president and i say this as a uk citizen, i wish he were our prime minister!
Tax systems is meant to be the built-in-stabilizers in the economy. Which is essentially there to prevent financial disasters, possibly more severe than the great depression. Ron Paul's assertion that the government's main objective to control the will of the people is just plain absurd. Ron's fiscal policy is one-sided, it does not take into account the inflationary effects of society. Ron Paul, please review your basic economics, Sir.
@Zenome You need to read the US Constitution and why and how it came about. Also whose power was it supposed to limit? Ron Paul has only gone after the IRS which is a Fed Gov entity. He has never mentioned any State Gov taxing agency. In fact, States can tax or do anything they want to. In essence, their powers could be unlimited. With that said. If a State starts to abuse the citizenry. Those abused will go to another State. Thus, tax revs will drop in the State doing the abuse.
@Zenome Hmmm, the tax system is being a built in stabilizer? I have studied the Great Depression. I have never read anything that mentions that due to the lack of a Fed Inc Tax. This resulted in the Great Depression. Look at the recent economic crisis. I would have to call a mild depression. Last time I checked we have an insane Fed Inc Tax Code. Maybe if they taxed everyone at say 75%. We would never see another financial crisis. What you are saying makes no sense.
@Zenome The recent crisis resulted from Liberal policies that came from both the Demicans and Republicrats. Add to that. The people of this country have on average moved left a little. Became a little more liberal and irresponsible. Not wanting to be accountable for their financial actions. I could go on forever. YOu really need to understand States rights. You also need to understand more on how the Fed Gov has take power away from the States.
@Zenome Basic economics. I had several classes in economics. I never once saw that taxes imposed by the Federal Gov were built in stabilizers. I have tried to research what you said, I can't find anything. Please direct me to a source so I can follow up on this.
@draco4506 Maybe you need to learn to use Google a little better, or perhaps read the latest edition of Macroeconomics by McConnel. If you've taken more than one economic classes, that obviously proves my point, that you're too incompetent to understand. Now why don't you go back and take more classes, moron.
@Norton8931 Very true, America's pretty screwed. lets not travel the same path as them we need to do something about this afghanistan shit here in canada can you believe its already cost us $18,500,000,000.Thats fucking insnanity. And for what?...
and belife, since 911, people got all hype The news medis the groverment did that.
lets take a look a waco,the groverment
the case was trid in court, the judge found
the Goverment was wrong. This groverment is out of control, need
to leplace. my BiBLE say when the groverment no longrer coinsied wth god - we not to obey the goverment <abortion-same sex ,living together, not working with
taxes weren't even an issue until the gov't came to the masses and said "we need to tax you to fund the war. This is to fund the war and is not permanent". That was several decades ago. Taxes have not gone away. And to make matters worse, the gov't has totally mismanaged the tax income and used it to fund wars. Taxation needs to end on a federal level. There's nothing wrong with a "state" tax. Even libertarians would agree. More than half of gas prices is taxation alone.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Dr. Paul is close, but I feel he may still be corrupt once he gets power. That's what seems to destroy, in my opinion. BUT, atleast he is on the side of the people. My daughter is getting stuck with our new stimulus plan's bill. We've been duped.
The exercise of a natural right and the exercise of a government granted privilege are as different as night and day. The first is exempt from tax. The later is voluntary and if the citizen chooses not to exercise the privilege, he or she may do so without giving up the natural affairs of life.
Another way to fight is through judicial reform with groups like FIJA.
Any legal problems like quasi-criminal ones like traffic violations...or even full blown criminal violations...don't waive any rights NONE! and drag them out as long as possible....this will stop up the works!
when though...fairly new...its not constitutional because it's an indirect tax which isn't apportioned to the states...if your gonna say we how do we pay for our roads and highways, google the Gasoline tax...
Back up partner, do some research...the 16th amendment was not properly ratified by the required number of states...therefore it is void...
However, even if it is a solid amendment, there is NOTHING in the amendment or any other, or anywhere else in the Constitution that authorizes the enforcement of the tax...in order to be enforced, the amendment must explicitly state so. Many IRS people have come forward and confirmed that they believe it is a voluntary tax, despite people being jailed.
There is no authority in the law for the government to tax the exercise of a natural right to work and provide for your families. If the gov. can tax 1% of your pay then they can tax 100% of your pay. Go on line to the Gov. web site for the income tax. There is only one person made liable for the tax. Section 1461 of the Code. Withholding agents for nonresident aliens and foreign corporations doing business inside the USA. Check it out!
It is true that most juries are ignorant when deciding tax cases. But that is beginning to change. The IRS manual, under "examinations" @ 4.10.7.2.9.8. says that the IRS is bound by the decisions of the US Supreme Court and that the Court's decisions regarding taxation, carry the same legal weight as the tax code. Supreme Court decisions are binding on all lower courts. Only a corrupt Federal Judge would disallow those decisions in their court rooms.
Section 6012 of the code applies to persons "made liable" by another provision of the law. It does not automatically apply. "Persons required to make returns of income" Does the IRS send 1040 tax returns to everyone in China? Read 6012 again. Does it say "Citizens" required to make returns of income?
Are we the people who own our lives or are we government slaves? Revolt. Fight back any way you can. Don't spend. Boycott. Take your money out of the bank. Buy silver. Convert your wealth and put it back in your control.
The government rules your lives, they are meant to (to an extent).
But we all know they don't do there job. All of America is working with virtual wealth, they are scared that if you could see what wealth you actually had you wouldn't support them.
Title 26 says you must file a return if you have "gross income". Income is not defined in the Code. The Supreme Court has defined income as a gain or profit "derived" from certain "privileged" activities. The exercise of a natural right to work and provide for yourself and family is not a privilege. It is a natural right form which no lawful tax can be extracted. US Declaration of Independence
Plus the income tax came into effect sometime in the 1910's and The U.S Deptartmet of Treasury formed the IRS in the early to mid 1950's. So, this was an additional form of power to the government.....I wonder why?(rhetorical)
Income taxes are found in subtitle A of title 26 and are not used to fund Social Security. Google The Grace Commission Report. Social Security taxes are found in subtitle C of the code and are a separate tax. Further more SSI is voluntary within the 50 states. Uncle Sam cannot force you to buy insurance.
the supreme court said in 1894 the tzx was illegal because it was a direct tax but congess needed the money so they passed the ammendment and they couldn't even do that right. title 26 section 6012 says we have to make a return so what choice do we have? these bastards are not worth going to jail for.
OK say Paul gets elected and abolishes the irs and income tax. Here's what happens next:
1) The government illiminates UNEMPLOYMENT
2) Followed by WELFARE
3) proceeded by MEDICAID
4) finished off by social security.
And if you think they wouldn't do it out of sheer spite think again. The income tax may be illegal but if you don't file your income tax you do NOT qualify for social security. beating the irs is as self defeating as satisfying a woman. giving in is just easier.
The origonal purpose of "income tax" was to pay for the expenses of the civil war. It even said so at the IRS website. If we keep it now, it helps enable people like President Bush to wage unnecessary wars. Our governemnt doesn't need the IRS, they want it. Lets get rid of the IRS cause I have better ways to spend MY money.
You should also research the inflation tax! The Federal Reserve is unneeded as well, the treasury department could literally protect the value of our dollar just by eliminating the great depression causing federal reserve! Go research Ben Bernanke when he even admitted that the Fed prolonged the Great Depression!
The establishment has us all under control. We've beed duped to believe the lies. We are waking up. Lets do something before it is too late. They are taking us down fast. We need to rise up NOW!!
They are stealing people's homes at gunpoint! Ed & Elaine Brown ring a bell? It's happening now and they are taking down lives. Good lives. good people. ALL WE WANT IS FREEDOM!
I did an offer in compromise and dealt with the IRS. They are MONSTERS! I'm sure some of them get beat up because they almost pushed me to the limit! I ended up filing a return to get them off my ass but next time I see an IRS agent, I'll light his/her ass up!
The problem is with this is that the news simply ignores him. They pretend that Ron Paul does not even exist. I dont recall the TV talking about Ron Paul ONCE, and this guy is promising a whole lot more than what Hilary, Obama, Buckabee or the other guy promeses. Whats going on? Doesnt the media know about him, or are they just pretending?
take a look at who owns the major networks tht the main media is ran by. Then take a look at who owns that corp. And then who owns that 1, etc. You will see it is all in the game and the main news is just propaganda.
Of course this man is hands down the man for the job but they don't want you to hear/see him. They want you to look at the people that the corps are sending in to play puppet. It doesnt matter what party, it's all about the corps and banks that run the states and most of the western hem.
Damn, Whats not to understand? The whole world is behind Ron Paul and the end of the IRS and the income tax. You'd have to be a simpleton or a masochist not to go with this plan! Congress? Forgetaboutit! They'll comply or else we'll organize to make their lives hell on their doorstep until their voted out or repect the people! This is what it takes to give these bribetakers the boot! Fight!RP2008!
screw the I.R.S.!!! unfortunatly ron paul or anyone for that matter won't change a thing, don't think so? go to( who owns americans )on utube...there the truth lies....
You are so right. Think about it this way. If you write a check and you don't have the money in your account, wouldn't the check bounce(without overdrate)??? So it makes sense how the Fed. can have a deficit because they get there money from Federal reserve which is owned by private bankers and aren't a branch of government. One might ask why the F.R. would keep lending money?Reserach Grace Commission Report.
You know, it almost doesn't matter to me if I agree with him or not (which I believe I do on most issues). But the confidence that I have that this guy is a good-hearted, well-informed, sincere individual. He's so much brighter and his own person than Bush could even conceive of. Go Ron Paul! He gives me some hope instead of apathy. You just know he's not as tied to special interests as the other jokers!
The IRS is a private orginization as is the Federal Reserve System, not affiliated with the government. No law exists that requires one to file a tax return. You volunteer to pay taxes and sign a taxt return. This is a myth.
Don't believe me? Research it yourself. You live your entire life in debt. When you see the federal income tax and the federal reserve system for what they really are, you will know. Why do you think the IRS does not reveal the law that mandates the income tax? Why does the vast majority accept it if so? Think about it.
I'd like to see JohnKerry7 do some research but it seems that they are too far gone into stupidity to do such a thing. These are the kind of people who explain why the American elites have gotten away with so much unconstitutional and infringing policies without enough resistance.
these are the people who allow the greatest tragedies against humanity, but unfortunately, every society has these idiots.
Doutless, johnkerry7 will not even research this, as will the rest of the deniers. The politician's and the false intellectuals' ignorance to the federal income tax and the federal reserve system's true nature is a testament to how dumbed down and oblivious the majority really are.
im not about to not pay my taxes and then fight the IRS in court having to pay a lawer and go even more in debt. So unless your face is right next to my ass, how do you know what hole im talking out of? Sir, is there something you would like to tell us?
You're the idiot. The IRS arrests you for not paying a tax that you don't have to pay. And if you burger-eating invasion monkeys would stop spending trillions of dollars killing poor people to steal their oil and incite more hatred, you'd save enough money to safely abolish the federal income tax and the fascist IRS while securing your borders by bringing the troops home.
Federal taxation is enforced by guns not law. There is no constitutional requirement for you to file and this decision is up held in the 'supreme' courts. For the sake of arguement and debunking my theories consider watching part 4 of freedom to fascism on youtube (there is an interview with the IRS commisioner who helped write the tax code 4 mins 30 seconds in).
YAY!!!! were going to put our faith back in the hands of the church!!!! oh happy day!!!! thank you MR.Paul!!!! lord knows that ill feel better knowing that the church MIGHT decide to take care of me if i end up in a heep of trouble!!!!
"America: Freedom To Fascism" was the movie that made me learn about who Dr. Ron paul was and since then I have been absolutely amazed by the many things he has said and done! He is one of the few Honest congressmen who will admit that America is turning into a police state! I recommend that all Ron Paul supporters buy/rent this film and if possible, burn free copies to give to potential supporters!
ron paul is a great man! i support a lot of the stuff he says minus abortion... i agree that the rights of the innocent should be protected but its still a womans right to choose. hopefully mr paul wont put any pro life acts into action or anything else of the sort. FREEDOM 08!
He wont put Anti-Abortion policies into action himself because he does not believe that the Federal government is delegated to decide on that issue, he knows that the right to decide on whether or not to ban abortion is up to each state. Considering that most people now favor the pro-choice side, most states will probably allow it. I think it is a sad thing, but so is the growing number of neglected children of mothers who would have had an abortion...
fuck income tax. It's just another way to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. What most people don't realize is that most rich people don't pay income tax. After a certain point they stop working and collect interest and the unearned interest is a set rate that is dramitically lower then the income tax. Shit like this is bullshit. The middle class is more like the slave class and were putting so much into the system that its hard for a lot of us to live comfortably.
welcometheplagueyear - you can make an argument for pacifism, but when an entire race of people are kidnapped, enslaved, whipped, tortured, starved, raped, and lynched in your own country, men of consious take action.
And all the while, Ron Paul's position on the War on Drugs is largely driven by the unfair treatment of African Americans for drug "crimes". You're an idiot.
When did I say I wanted to legalize crack? Your claims are defenseless and uncredited to any sort of source - legitimate or otherwise. Don't make up slanderous crap about candidates who you don't agree with. People like you who don't agree with the message of liberty, non-intervention, and peace, should just not even bother and make it easier for the rest of us to continue our intellectual pursuits.
qwohlproductions - alright, you are totally BUSTED!! Please youtube search the videos "Ron Paul Morton Downey Jr." and you'll see your man spend 25 minutes defending the legality of all drugs (including crack) on all levels, federal, state, municipal, etc. Don't make up slanderous crap about candidates you support but haven't fully researched.
philipmontag is just trying to show one side of the story behind Ron Paul's statement that the Civil War was unnecessary, He did indeed give a good reason to justify that statement which Philip fails to mention in his attempt to smear an honest candidate! Ron Paul was saying that other nations were able to get rid of slavery without war! what's wrong with peace philip??? Are you a neocon fool?
Sorry, the key issue this election is the iraqi war no matter what you say... anyone supporting the war is outof the race... that leaves ron paul.. If Ron Paul isnt elected then both you and me are going to have fun in Iran... soo please think twice before you start spamming shit because you think your a badass that youre pro war.. because eventually youll be fighting in one if you keep your view
InternetFTW - I am totally opposed to the war in Iraq and was part of the elite 27% of Americans who was opposed to the war in March 2003. A vote for Ron Paul is the same as a vote for war because that same primary vote could have gone to Obama or Edwards, someone electable who will end the war, instead of throwing your vote in the toilet.
Obama and Edwards (he especially) will not end the war as swiftly and quickly as Ron Paul. And Ron Paul wouldn't just end the Iraq war; he wants to remove ALL the troops from foreign countries and bring them back home WHERE THEY BELONG. And Both Obama and Edwards have the typical idiotic spending philosophies of the Democratic party. Neither want to legalize gay marriage. Need I go on?
I am a Ron Paul supporter and what you are saying is false. You show no proof or links to back up what you say. My money is on that you are a supporter of Hillary Clinton and are you want to do is raz the people. Communists like you will fall and the American people will not think twice about it.
noelsingletary - dude, it's 2007 GOOGLE IT! I've given you enough keywords that combined with 'Ron Paul' should give you the sources your looking for. Which accusation do you feel is false and I'll send you a link. I hope you spend hours researching this to prove me wrong because I know what you'll find.
welcometheplagueyear - Ron Paul has spoken out on numerous occasions, including in front of Congress, about how he opposes the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the one that effectively ended segregation. He believes that states have rights to allow shopowners to segregate if they feel like it. If you agree, you and Ron Paul are just plain out of touch with 90%+ of Americans.
welcometheplagueyear - that works great in theory, but then again so does communism. The fact is segregation was alive and well in 1964 and would still be the law of the land if it weren't for our federal government stepping in, that's just a fact.
it was alive and well but i dont think it would still be the law of the land in present day america. all these ppl are hating on you because you point out some Ron Paul facts that are opinionated and misinformed i try to learn from both i do try to look at ron pauls flaws because im not afraid of the truth but still i think ron paul is way better than all the republicans if it was mike gravel vs. ron paul i wouldn't care about the winner because its a win win.
welcomethplagueyear - you claim my facts are misinformed yet fail to point to any one of them with a counterargument.
How can you compare him to Mike Gravel, the war is the only issue they share. Did you recieve student loans? Ron Paul wants to end that program. Ron Paul also wants to legalize all drugs, including crack. He's said on other days he wants to abolish the entire federal government and just let states run everything.
welcometheplagueyear - you may like the idea of legalizing drugs, but unfortunately that is a liability for Ron Paul because let's say 30% to 40% of our people want to legalize marijuana, probably less than 10% would want to legalize crack. Even people that smoke crack know why it should be illegal, it ruins people's lives.
Believe me, welcometheplagueyear does not at all represent the majority of informed voters who have pledged their support to Ron Paul. Most of us don't say stupid things like that, and they certainly have a more proper sense of grammar and spelling.
Tell everyone you know to REGISTER!!! do what me friends did and have a registration party!!! About 100 of us registered and partied and will vote for RON PAUL!!! spread the vote!! abolish the irs and foreign owned for profit fed!!!
YES! Its past time we look at reality instead of continuing on with our heads in the sand. We need to stand for the truth and let the illuminati and their employee's know that we do care about our country and each other!
I have never read a more lucid, well-reasoned, properly worded idiotic statement in all my life. For you to suggest we elect a 'progressive' candidate above Ron Paul is like suggesting we all ride scooters instead of BMWs. What would we do when the storms arrive? With your 'progressive candidate' we'd have to run for cover. With Ron Paul we simply continue to drive in safety and comfort.
If you resign yourself to doom, then that's what you'll get. The revolution is about people getting up off their ### and doing something. Surely, you've watched RP Girl's videos and got that message.
THISNOVEMBER5TH. COM... NUMBER IS NOW OVER 8,312 THAT HAVE PLEDGED TO GIVE $100. THAT WILL BE $831,200 GIVEN ON NOVEMBER 5TH.
If we get 100,000 to commit, that will be $10 Million raised in ONE DAY for Dr. Paul. You think the news will take notice of that! C'mon people, I know $100 may seem like a lot, but think about what we're fighting for here. Let's make it happen!!!
The 16th amendment was passed by the narrowest margin on record, and is even disputed by some. We have repealed amendments that don't work before, may taxes go the way of prohibition. A strong us military on US bases and in and around US waters, that would be what? Oh a defense. What do the people of the US owe the people in the US who depend on government handouts? A helping hand to get on their feet and the opportunity to make it on their own.
yea the 16th is unconstitutional in itself so i would think thats enough to not make it valid. what does it say, the government can make and take taxes however and wherever and whenever they please? yea we need someone like ron to do away with bs unconstitutional laws like that. go ron. 2008
On November 5, 2007, Ron Paul Supporters across the country will each donate $100 to his campaign. This is a pivotal moment for Ron Paul. He desperately needs money to get on TV and radio in the early primary states before January!
100,000 donations x $100 = $10,000,000
Pledge to donate on November 5th!
thisnovember5th. com
Re-post this on as many Ron Paul YouTube videos as possible!
I'm a Democrat and I just registered Republican to vote for Ron Paul in the primary. America needs Ron Paul. I fear what he's up against and what will happen to him, but he's a true patriot and I hope people will at least listen to what he's saying. It's time we stopped paying this illegal tax, among a long list things that need to change, and now.
What we should all do is buy a stamp that says Ron Paul for President and stamp every paper currency that goes through our hands. If you want to get the word out then what better way than currency which constantly changes hands. A nice slap in the face for the Federal Reserve lol. I have ordered my Stamp! You can use a marker!
ReduceC02 the problem is that the WE society doesn't work because power corrupts those in office and the Corporations are the ones who get the benefit my socialist friend. So if we're a ME society we can have the means to give more to charity thus more efficient funds get to those who are truly needy. Besides Ron Paul already said there would need to be a transition period, and when he says something you know he's going to be consistent
where as if your under the age of 40 you are never going to see the benefits of social security and if you think you will you are insane, but its coming out of your paycheck anyway
the polls are done by randomly calling landline phones not cell phones i dont know anyone under the age of 40 that has landline, so there calling grandpa, and Rons the canidate the only one i might ad saying people should do more to take care of themselves and rely on the government less. welfare, social security, medicaid, yea old people are not going to want to vote for having to take care of themselves a little more.they want the welfare they have become addicted to, at your expense
Clearly you jest....I'd check those "polls" if I were you. I'm not saying that he's going to win...I'm just saying that a lot can happen between then and now. Heck, I'd vote for him simply for the reason that he's been married to the same woman for 50 years. How many other candidates can say that?
You will, however, have no choice in paying more money for goods and services if there is no federal income tax. The federal government is much larger than one man (Ron Paul), and the federal government will get the increasing amount money taxed year to year one way or another. Which raises an interesting question. What would Ron Paul do to restore power lost by the other branches of government under Bush?
Bush = Tax cuts to billionaires, while increasing real costs to everyone else through currency devaluation and inflation (and, btw, the Bush team of corrupt liars have stacked the inflation index so that is is no longer meaningful for real people. For example, the index no longer includes food and fuel. WTF?!?
This is true however, it is an amendment to the constitution. It was not written in at the time of the founding fathers as a taxation method. Hence, while it is constitutional, it is not founding father like and is as said by many economists such as Thomas Sowell, it is a harsh and hurtful method of taxation to the economy.
You are such a bootlicker. Do you think siding with billionaires makes you a billionaire too? The 16th amendment was illegally tacked onto the constitution by a bunch of greedy thieving bankers. You Uncle Tom.
I'm compiling a list of thousands of Ron Paul supporters in order to send weekly donations of $25 or more at the exact same time. If 20,000 supporters all sent $25 or more at the exact same minute, that would be at least $500,000. We'll creat a stir and show the country our grassroots power. To join, send an e-mail to:
RonPaulMoneyBomb @ yahoo . com
I'll reply to everyone with an exact time every week.
Please, If you like Ron Paul please make a sign and put it in front of your house. We need to get his name outside of the internet and out to the streets. DO IT NOW
The federal income tax does not apply to us citizens, it only applies to aliens/non residents. A direct un-apportioned tax on a wage is illegal and UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Ron Paul knows this, Most Americans do not.
nice TALK but saying "I'd abolish the IRS" and actually doing the deed are two different things. Congress has got control of the purse. i'm afraid Mr. Paul is a GOP strategy to keep loyal voters hanging on.
big government hates ron paul, simply because he speaks the truth for the american people. he wants to save us money and bring back the constitution, stop the police state, and bring back what this country was started for.
Word. I am actually registering to vote finally just to vote for Ron Paul. The other candidates simply speak vagueness torward the big issues and press for further government control.
If you care about your personal freedoms look into Ron Paul's message.
I suspect since the 04' elections that they may in fact fix the elections. But, regardless if they do or don't, if the people's message is strong enough for Ron Paul and we start seeing independant polls showing ~80% Ron Paul, then he looses the general election, there WILL be outrage.
In addition, if he makes it to the primaries the other candidate will be forced to debate on matters like the Federal Reserve bank, and all of the questions currently being avoided at all costs.
It has been duly noted that most of our current income taxes goes toward paying interest on our trillion dollar debt, not towards running this out of control spending govt of ours! Besides that, the way that income taxes are collected are unconstitutional because they aren't "apportioned," they are "witheld" basically at gunpoint!
I tried to find it online, but maybe I don't know how to find it, but does anyone know how much money the US government collected in 2006 and how much of it was from taxes and how much other than taxes income?
I believe that dismanteling the IRS will bring about a much needed improvment to the taxpayers. We already work 3 to 4 months of each year to support the giv-away programs to other countires and several in the USA as well that do not benefit the American taxpayers. WHat most of these programs do is create a crutch for people to expect the government to bail them out and become ever increasingly dependent.
While I believe that Ron Paul goes a little too far on reducing the influence of the federal government, it might not be a bad thing for the US to get used to not having so much power at their disposal. Ron Paul definately has his head in the right place. He's one of the few candidates I've ever seen actually make talk sense. America needs Ron Paul, but I think he will benefit the rest of the world, too. "Commerce wih all nations, ally with none."
God bless this man.

Zenome 1 year ago
@Zenome You need to read the US Constitution and why and how it came about. Also whose power was it supposed to limit? Ron Paul has only gone after the IRS which is a Fed Gov entity. He has never mentioned any State Gov taxing agency. In fact, States can tax or do anything they want to. In essence, their powers could be unlimited. With that said. If a State starts to abuse the citizenry. Those abused will go to another State. Thus, tax revs will drop in the State doing the abuse.
draco4506 1 year ago
@Zenome Hmmm, the tax system is being a built in stabilizer? I have studied the Great Depression. I have never read anything that mentions that due to the lack of a Fed Inc Tax. This resulted in the Great Depression. Look at the recent economic crisis. I would have to call a mild depression. Last time I checked we have an insane Fed Inc Tax Code. Maybe if they taxed everyone at say 75%. We would never see another financial crisis. What you are saying makes no sense.
draco4506 1 year ago
@Zenome The recent crisis resulted from Liberal policies that came from both the Demicans and Republicrats. Add to that. The people of this country have on average moved left a little. Became a little more liberal and irresponsible. Not wanting to be accountable for their financial actions. I could go on forever. YOu really need to understand States rights. You also need to understand more on how the Fed Gov has take power away from the States.
draco4506 1 year ago
@Zenome Basic economics. I had several classes in economics. I never once saw that taxes imposed by the Federal Gov were built in stabilizers. I have tried to research what you said, I can't find anything. Please direct me to a source so I can follow up on this.
draco4506 1 year ago
@draco4506 Maybe you need to learn to use Google a little better, or perhaps read the latest edition of Macroeconomics by McConnel. If you've taken more than one economic classes, that obviously proves my point, that you're too incompetent to understand. Now why don't you go back and take more classes, moron.

taxes weren't even an issue until the gov't came to the masses and said "we need to tax you to fund the war.

The exercise of a natural right and the exercise of a government granted privilege are as different as night and day. The first is exempt from tax. The later is voluntary and if the citizen chooses not to exercise the privilege, he or she may do so without giving up the natural affairs of life.
almartin77 2 years ago
Another way to fight is through judicial reform with groups like FIJA.
Any legal problems like quasi-criminal ones like traffic violations...or even full blown criminal violations...don't waive any rights NONE! and drag them out as long as possible....this will stop up the works!

The income tax isn't unconstitutional becasue it was created in a constitutional amendment.
CountArtha 2 years ago
when though...fairly new...its not constitutional because it's an indirect tax which isn't apportioned to the states...if your gonna say we how do we pay for our roads and highways, google the Gasoline tax...
scenemaker03 2 years ago
Back up partner, do some research...the 16th amendment was not properly ratified by the required number of states...therefore it is void...
However, even if it is a solid amendment, there is NOTHING in the amendment or any other, or anywhere else in the Constitution that authorizes the enforcement of the tax...in order to be enforced, the amendment must explicitly state so. Many IRS people have come forward and confirmed that they believe it is a voluntary tax, despite people being jailed.
mullahaliackbar 2 years ago
There is no authority in the law for the government to tax the exercise of a natural right to work and provide for your families. If the gov. can tax 1% of your pay then they can tax 100% of your pay. Go on line to the Gov. web site for the income tax. There is only one person made liable for the tax. Section 1461 of the Code. Withholding agents for nonresident aliens and foreign corporations doing business inside the USA. Check it out!
almartin77 3 years ago

The IRS trial court, unlike any other court in the land, does NOT allow Supreme Ct rulings into evidence
The truth is there is no appropriately cited TAX law on unapportioned wages on the required Federal Registry
But you the tax payer are up against an ignorant jury!
Sometimes the jury sticks to its guns when the defense claims, "no law"; but most of the time the lame public jury goes with the government
Bottom line: The IRS is the biggest gun in the West - Do you feel lucky punk?
sugarpuddin88 3 years ago
Title 26 says you must file a return if you have "gross income". Income is not defined in the Code. The Supreme Court has defined income as a gain or profit "derived" from certain "privileged" activities. The exercise of a natural right to work and provide for yourself and family is not a privilege. It is a natural right form which no lawful tax can be extracted. US Declaration of Independence
almartin77 3 years ago
Plus the income tax came into effect sometime in the 1910's and The U.S Deptartmet of Treasury formed the IRS in the early to mid 1950's. So, this was an additional form of power to the government.....I wonder why?(rhetorical)
doctorofghetto 3 years ago
Income taxes are found in subtitle A of title 26 and are not used to fund Social Security. Google The Grace Commission Report. Social Security taxes are found in subtitle C of the code and are a separate tax. Further more SSI is voluntary within the 50 states. Uncle Sam cannot force you to buy insurance.

Don't believe me? Research it yourself. You live your entire life in debt. When you see the federal income tax and the federal reserve system for what they really are, you will know. Why do you think the IRS does not reveal the law that mandates the income tax? Why does the vast majority accept it if so? Think about it.
1f3rn 4 years ago
I'd like to see JohnKerry7 do some research but it seems that they are too far gone into stupidity to do such a thing. These are the kind of people who explain why the American elites have gotten away with so much unconstitutional and infringing policies without enough resistance.
these are the people who allow the greatest tragedies against humanity, but unfortunately, every society has these idiots.

You're the idiot. The IRS arrests you for not paying a tax that you don't have to pay. And if you burger-eating invasion monkeys would stop spending trillions of dollars killing poor people to steal their oil and incite more hatred, you'd save enough money to safely abolish the federal income tax and the fascist IRS while securing your borders by bringing the troops home.
mocthezuma 4 years ago 2
Federal taxation is enforced by guns not law. There is no constitutional requirement for you to file and this decision is up held in the 'supreme' courts. I agree, he is great!

The middle class is more like the slave class and were putting so much into the system that its hard for a lot of us to live comfortably.

welcometheplagueyear - that works great in theory, but then again so does communism. The fact is segregation was alive and well in 1964 and would still be the law of the land if it weren't for our federal government stepping in, that's just a fact.

welcomethplagueyear - you claim my facts are misinformed yet fail to point to any one of them with a counterargument.
How can you compare him to Mike Gravel, the war is the only issue they share. Did you recieve student loans? Ron Paul wants to end that program. Ron Paul also wants to legalize all drugs, including crack. He's said on other days he wants to abolish the entire federal government and just let states run everything.
philipmontag 4 years ago
i didnt compare him to mike.
and i like his ideas on legalizing drugs and the freedom to posses fire arms.
im not sure about the student loans ill have to look that up.
welcometheplagueyear 4 years ago
welcometheplagueyear - you may like the idea of legalizing drugs, but unfortunately that is a liability for Ron Paul because let's say 30% to 40% of our people want to legalize marijuana, probably less than 10% would want to legalize crack.

A helping hand to get on their feet and the opportunity to make it on their own.
bcolehudson 4 years ago
yea the 16th is unconstitutional in itself so i would think thats enough to not make it valid. what does it say, the government can make and take taxes however and wherever and whenever they please? yea we need someone like ron to do away with bs unconstitutional laws like that. go ron. 2008

AspiretoShred 4 years ago
where as if your under the age of 40 you are never going to see the benefits of social security and if you think you will you are insane, but its coming out of your paycheck anyway
mandymac33 4 years ago 5
the polls are done by randomly calling landline phones not cell phones i dont know anyone under the age of 40 that has landline, so there calling grandpa, and Rons the canidate the only one i might ad saying people should do more to take care of themselves and rely on the government less. welfare, social security, medicaid, yea old people are not going to want to vote for having to take care of themselves a little more.they want the welfare they have become addicted to, at your expense
mandymac33 4 years ago
Clearly you jest....I'd check those "polls" if I were you. I'm not saying that he's going to win...I'm just saying that a lot can happen between then and now. Heck, I'd vote for him simply for the reason that he's been married to the same woman for 50 years. How many other candidates can say that?
MichelleWritesSings 4 years ago
You will, however, have no choice in paying more money for goods and services if there is no federal income tax. The federal government is much larger than one man (Ron Paul), and the federal government will get the increasing amount money taxed year to year one way or another. Which raises an interesting question. What would Ron Paul do to restore power lost by the other branches of government under Bush?
Sweetwater83 4 years ago
He is brilliant.
Cut foreign aid and eliminate the IRS !!!
Bush = Tax cuts to billionaires, while increasing real costs to everyone else through currency devaluation and inflation (and, btw, the Bush team of corrupt liars have stacked the inflation index so that is is no longer meaningful for real people. For example, the index no longer includes food and fuel. WTF?!?
REALTIME123123123 4 years ago
For example, the index no longer includes food and fuel.
A correction. The index does not eliminate these items, but, rather, 'reweighs' their contribution -- to hide actual inflation.
REALTIME123123123 4 years ago
This is true however, it is an amendment to the constitution. It was not written in at the time of the founding fathers as a taxation method. Hence, while it is constitutional, it is not founding father like and is as said by many economists such as Thomas Sowell, it is a harsh and hurtful method of taxation to the economy.
GreatDharma 4 years ago
You are such a bootlicker. Do you think siding with billionaires makes you a billionaire too? The 16th amendment was illegally tacked onto the constitution by a bunch of greedy thieving bankers. You Uncle Tom.

I'm compiling a list of thousands of Ron Paul supporters in order to send weekly donations of $25 or more at the exact same time. If 20,000 supporters all sent $25 or more at the exact same minute, that would be at least $500,000. We'll creat a stir and show the country our grassroots power. To join, send an e-mail to:

A Question for all Ron Paul supporters
What is Ron Paul's plan for countering the growing power of big corporations in America?
Ron Paul supports small government. In a conflict between small government and big business, who do you think is going to win?
There is a great novel called 'Jennifer Government'. Read it and know that if Ron Paul gets elected, 'Jennifer Government' will become a reality.
Ron Paul is just another corporate shill. Vote Dennis Kucinich
MaulikSinghal 4 years ago
What kind of corporate shill wants to end subsidizing big business and refuses those big big checks they're always handing out?

Please, If you like Ron Paul please make a sign and put it in front of your house. We need to get his name outside of the internet and out to the streets. DO IT NOW

The federal income tax does not apply to us citizens, it only applies to aliens/non residents. A direct un-apportioned tax on a wage is illegal and UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Ron Paul knows this, Most Americans do not.
canyon633 4 years ago 5
nice TALK but saying "I'd abolish the IRS" and actually doing the deed are two different things. Congress has got control of the purse. i'm afraid Mr. Paul is a GOP strategy to keep loyal voters hanging on.
ro9911 4 years ago
big government hates ron paul, simply because he speaks the truth for the american people. he wants to save us money and bring back the constitution, stop the police state, and bring back what this country was started for.

Word. I am actually registering to vote finally just to vote for Ron Paul. The other candidates simply speak vagueness torward the big issues and press for further government control.
If you care about your personal freedoms look into Ron Paul's message.

If they don't fix the election I think he'll win. Where are all the Ron Paul Campaign adds.. HUH!?
Zephyrus34 4 years ago 4
I suspect since the 04' elections that they may in fact fix the elections. But, regardless if they do or don't, if the people's message is strong enough for Ron Paul and we start seeing independant polls showing ~80% Ron Paul, then he looses the general election, there WILL be outrage.
In addition, if he makes it to the primaries the other candidate will be forced to debate on matters like the Federal Reserve bank, and all of the questions currently being avoided at all costs.
defconx3 4 years ago
It has been duly noted that most of our current income taxes goes toward paying interest on our trillion dollar debt, not towards running this out of control spending govt of ours! Besides that, the way that income taxes are collected are unconstitutional because they aren't "apportioned," they are "witheld" basically at gunpoint!
Ambroeavery 4 years ago 4
I tried to find it online, but maybe I don't know how to find it, but does anyone know how much money the US government collected in 2006 and how much of it was from taxes and how much other than taxes income?

I believe that dismanteling the IRS will bring about a much needed improvment to the taxpayers. We already work 3 to 4 months of each year to support the giv-away programs to other countires and several in the USA as well that do not benefit the American taxpayers. WHat most of these programs do is create a crutch for people to expect the government to bail them out and become ever increasingly dependent.
batodabone 4 years ago
While I believe that Ron Paul goes a little too far on reducing the influence of the federal government, it might not be a bad thing for the US to get used to not having so much power at their disposal. Ron Paul definately has his head in the right place. He's one of the few candidates I've ever seen actually make talk sense. America needs Ron Paul, but I think he will benefit the rest of the world, too. "Commerce wih all nations, ally with none."
