I feel so sad for wives, girlfriends and partners of crew deployed for so long. I hope you are able to communicate often and that you receive the support you deserve. We mothers appreciate your loyalty and love for our sons and daughters. I visited an American ship in Plymouth for Navy Days 2006. The sailors onboard were so welcoming especially to Royal Navy sailors visiting. I felt very proud to be the mother of a sailor.

my boyscout troop visited and boarded the USS Harry S. Truman when it was docked in Dubai! I'm pretty sure I saw Lee! I'm not kiddin!
