Now if you light one you get banned from the stadium and no-one wants that. And its not like in Greek football where not only are flares allowed but there's fuck all police either. England is the most expensive country to police football by a mile.

So the Fans won't go as much without them. Where as in England its pride, flares don't matter in England theres not much hurt in banning, fans will still go
You're right, but the FA in England also decides if you're allowed to bring pyrortechics inside the stadium or not. It's not only the stadium, the association also decides.

I know in Croatia when i watched their league there is so many flares it looks sick but are they allowed in the EPL? cause this is the first one i've ever seen really. i know they used to be allowed in Champions league and Serie A Not sure if they are still but.
