@cycraxx That's not correct. In Fakt there's no regular train where you can smoke in, but it's not forbidden by law. Some special trains such as ski trains do have smoking coaches.
Same with stations. Deutsche Bahn ban smoking from all stations except for some special smoking areas at larger stations. But you can still smoke at stations owned by some other companies.
They made the ICE uglier.

no...it´s not allowed to smoke in any german train...it´s also forbidden in trainstations!
