  • The Bedrock railroad. Quite a novel idea! The late HO modeler John Allen had a dinosaur on his railroad. He had a number painted on the side using the premise that it was used a a local switcher. Too bad one of the big train makers doesn't do a Flintstones train.

  • @Trainbrain1949 I grew up modeling HO and remember John Allen well. His Gorre and Daphetid is still the single best train layout ever in my opinion. Now my eyes just can't handle the small detail and I play with bigger trains :-) I'm surprised no one has done either a toy Bedrock and posted it somewhere. Lionel and MTH have both made novelty trains before, why not a Flintstones themed train? (I don't think K-Line ever did something one could classify as 'novelty') Ed

  • There is a lot of time and creativity gong down in bedrock, bedrock. This is the beauty of having nothing tied down on the playa of ones model train layout in bedrock , bedrock. I do not have anyting tied down on my playa in bedrock, bedrock. Great and fantastic job sir!!!!!(grins, chortles)
