If you are interested in the Sumerians, Samuel Kramer is widely known as one of the finest scholars in the field and his books are widely known. It is true that the Sumerians were the oldest recorded civilisation. But they had no widely organised religion. The oldest is actualy Hinduism. It's also a little simplistic to say that because Sumerian culture pre-dated Hebrew culture, the latter must have taken everything from the former. Don't forget Sumerian culture spanned 3,000 years and not everything in their beliefs came at the start of this, so there may have been more cross-fertilisation of ideas than you are allowing for.

The "Bible" 1 Enoch, Jasher, and other text sums up and I believe properly explains all the different presences, influences, ect... that have been found world-wide. Read them and you'll begin to understand the universal knowledge that they knew. Stamping a debatable date on a text has nothing to do with the quality of information that's contained in it. Much of this is from Zecharia Sitchin which has been debunked by credible scholars. He even did an obvious, Freemasonic handshake with Jordan Maxwell, which is another disinfo agent. There are some facilities in believing that some of these text are the "original" story and that somehow that means they were more accurately influenced. The "Annunaki's" title as supreme creators is not accurate. Older places have also been found on other continents. I believe the Hebrews got much of it right.

It's good to see other people that are awake! Biblical scriptures/truths were spoken and written in multiple countries/continents by various people. They recorded their history as they knew and seen it and left by far more manuscript evidence. There is much more that's in the "Bible" then Sumeria and it all intertwines with all of history and speaks of all cultures. The Gospels also fit together like a puzzle with this proper view of history. Archeology and prophecy proves it!

If you are interested in the Sumerians, Samuel Kramer is widely known as one of the finest scholars in the field and his books are widely known. Also, you can find a lot of the translated Texts themselves by contemporary scholars such as Charles Horne or Jeremy Black.

We all know that god said that there was the tower of babel. I do not see this tower in the depictions of the sumerians.

The egyptians talk about the pharao being a demi-god and the sun gods and the moon gods for example, while the sumerians talk about similar things.
Just because the sumerian story is a bit similar to the creation of mankind, does not mean that the sumerians did not take the story from elsewhere to start with.
We like to think that sumerians were at the start of everything, because that is the oldest culture we can find on this planet.

I do not have a "faith". I am neither an atheist nor am I a religious person. My interest is solely in what can be proven to be true, that is always evolving as we get smarter about our history. Personally whether god exists or not, whether the sumerian anunnaki exist or not, I don't care. Whether either of them exist, they both are negligent in there superiority, what I mean is, if God exists, and lets people suffer, he is in contempt for that, as well as the anunnaki.

If it's really been a copy.. then the whole content of the words would still be the same.. but it's not. Sumerian has this so-called annunaki god...the story of marduk, enki.. enlil.. and so forth. right? But the God of Moses is referring to one God alone. The CREATOR.

@inday811 Like I said, the notion of one god, comes from Abraham, considered to be the father of all three major religions in the world. Abraham was from Ur, Sumer and was Sumerian. The stories in the bible, came from hearing the stories at festival celebrations held every year in Sumer. I also told you, in the original text of the bible written in Hebrew, the word Elohem is a plural word for God.

Every passage you read in the bible that starts with; The Lord, OR God, is written and translated incorrectly, because in its original hebrew form (elohem), they meant many gods. Not just one.

I highly doubt, humans were written as coming down from space. The Anunnaki were Aliens that posed as gods after genetically splicing DNA from early hominid species on the planet with there own DNA to make modern man. We are the only species on this planet to have 46 chromosomes, 2 being spliced together. Every other species has 48.

I will admit, on the surface, religion teaches people to be good, per consequence of eternal damnation, However, it turns groups of people into murdering monsters for there god. It is true that the Sumerians were the oldest recorded civilisation. But they had no widely organised religion. The oldest is actualy Hinduism. It's also a little simplistic to say that because Sumerian culture pre-dated Hebrew culture, the latter must have taken everything from the former. Don't forget Sumerian culture spanned 3,000 years and not everything in their beliefs came at the start of this, so there may have been more cross-fertilisation of ideas than you are allowing for.

But this is the myth that seems to make the most sense since it does have substantial evidence and the Sumerians were the older civilizantion and it seems that all other religions were duplicated from it. You have what is called "Faith". If you look this word up, you will see that it is something that is believed to be true even though it hasnt been proven to be true, or in spite of something that has been proven to be false. I could say, Santa Claus exists, even thought there is no proof of it.
