  • Looking good =)

  • Thanks!

  • nice tank!

I'm also running a 55g with a variety of african cichlids in it. That blue one with the yellow fins could be a pseudotropheus acei. Hard to tell from this video. I guess it could also be metriaclima greshakei (considering you have other metriaclimas in there).

Have you considered possibly switching to a pellet food?

  • An easy way to tell the difference between the acei and the greshakei is to look at the mouth. A very small, almost "petite" mouth means an acei. Larger one belongs to greshakei, as greshakei are omnivore.

  • Yup, I also feed pellets and weekly frozen brine shrimp/blood worms.

Thanks! I am glad you like it!

  • Not gonna lie this is actually pretty cool

  • You should get fish Steve! Come one, you know you want to!

  • What fish do you have in there?

  • 2X Lace Cat Fish

1X Pleco ( I know I will have to re-home him once he gets bigger.)

    1XMelanochromis auratus

    2XMetriaclima estherae

    1XMetriaclima lombardoi

1X I am not quite sure what species he is, he has a blue body with yellow fins?

I am going to be getting more as time goes on here. I can't just go out and get like 10 right now because I will have an ammonia spike. I get 1 about every 1 or 2 weeks.
