we use to own a house down here....had to sell it cuz it was getting to expensive to live....i use to spend my childhood summers down there.....i cried when we lost it....i miss it very much <3...i felt in heaven there
i used to come up in the 80s and 90s as a kid to visit my grandparents. lots of boogie boarding and rock hopping. even entered the july 4th parade a couple times. unfortunately my strongest memory of the place is stepping on a random fishhook in the surf and having to rush to the nearby hospital. the jellyfish also became more prevalent in the latter years. the place has also become mcmansionized, in my opinion.
Thank you for capturing what I know as the best place to be in this world. It has changed so over the last 47 years, but is still second home for our family. No place can make me feel like quony does, I can visualize the beach by the Nuns anytime during the year and a smile and warmth overtakes me.
Looking at this today in below zero windchills gives me the sanity that I get when i dream about or am in Quonny.Spending 25 entire summers and vacationing there for the last 18 takes me to a place that is for me the best in the world. Remembrances of no time clocks and more fun with family and friends than one deserves in a lifetime. Quonny holds the best memories for our family, thank yoou peg and Dan Rase for taking us to the most magical place a child and adult can go.

Bob, another well done video!
Quonnie is a wonderful place and we are so lucky to have you as a neighbor.
I hope hurricane Irene does not spoil this beautiful treasure we have.

you are all wrong. you are saying quony and quonny. if you really liked the place you would spell it right. QUONNIE

Very nice! I love the music as well - very fitting for a magical place. What's the name of the music?
