1) it freezes often, but the console doesn't report any issues

2) whenever I have a map of an area, it replaces the target circle with a blue, black, and White box. The command bar disappears and enemy health bars don't show

But other than that, it all works fantastically ^^

Or if you knew that you had a Windows operating system, with 32 or 64 bit, then you would know exactly which one to download. If you have a Windows 32-bit, download the first, 64-bit, the second, and the others are for their respective operating systems.

It does actually work, provided you follow my instructions, and if you have an average computer. Although, a lot of people report that it doesn't work for them. It works for me, just really slowly. Go ahead and give it a try.

Can you please help me out here? I have the emulator running successfully with the following specs:

AMD A6 quad core processor overclocked at 2.4Ghz (comparable to i5 2410 in benchmarks).

4gb ram, 1300

500gb hard drive, 5400rpm

windows 7

For one, the intro video runs around 40~45 fps, full speed as far as you can see visually, but the audio fades in and out/choppy. Most importantly, in the first unversed battle with terra at snow white's castle, the fps drops to 10, and I cant hit them.

Okay, I think I need some help. I checked the "only GE graphics" box in video tab. Everything fine, with very good speed, until that part where Ven is falling in his Dive to the Heart with that white cape. The FPS fell from 20 - 25 to 2 - 4 when this cutscene I told you begins and I don't know what to do :( I don't think it's my Laptop's specs 'cause the game begins really fast and slows down at that cutscene. Also, I play KH II in the same Laptop, faster than Birth by Sleep. Help me please :/

OK. I have a great pc but the videos in the game were still a little slow. Also, the intro had no sound and in other places doesn't seem to be able to hold up with the game. Sometimes when you try to acces abilities everything freezes and you have to reset. But OTHER than that the game is great and I DO recommend this.

@DrawTheWind Thanks for recommending :D Have you tried defragging your computer? Do you have any (or many) programs open when you play the game? Did you reset your computer before playing? Also make sure that you don't have the extra colors selected in the Configuration thing in BBS (don't have the higher resolution/color setting enabled). The intro should have sound, I don't know why it didnt... unless you didn't install sonicStage. Install it in the JPCSP Instructions folder.

@DrawTheWind Also, go to the .bat folder that starts up JPCSP, right click it, select EDIT, scroll down until you see Max Perm Size and Reserve Code Cache Size. Change those two values to 256 and 128 (that is, if you have AT LEAST 4gbs of RAM and 512 video card. If not that much, don't mess with the values) respectively. If that doesn't fix it, the best cure is to not go to abilities when you can help it :D

@Justwolflover LOL, I guess I should've googled it :P Anyways, KH is my favorite series also.... I am currently playing KH BBS, KH1, and KH RECODED (just finished II Final Mix, and did some RECOM). Anyways, you MUST go to my second video (the link is above) and download the links there. If you do, there won't be ANY promothesus loader, and there won't be that problem. Also, the game should run FULL SPEED for you (lucky :P) in most if not all areas, with 60 fps. Be sure to read instructions.

@rebirthsleepyhead Ok, on my computer, the game is slow in some areas, and faster in others. I have a Dual core @2.5ghz per core, 4gbs of RAM, and a 512mb video card. As for your processor, your game will be slower, but it shouldn't be TOO bad. However, there will be places with 5 or slower fps for sure, unless your video card is excellent. As for the RAM, I don't think that is quite as important, but the performance may suffer some. You might not have a peaceful game, but it'll playable.

@rebirthsleepyhead LOL, yeah, I like MediaFire for 4 important reasons: 1. No waiting! You don't have to wait 60, 45, 30, 20, or even 10 seconds! It just loads up the download, then you download it! 2. You can download as many download things as you want! You could have 20 or so downloads going at the same time, instead of just one. 3. You don't have to enter any captcha images. 4.  No constant "will you upgrade will you upgrade will you upgrade." BTW, I hope that you get it to work:D

@ruzzzler No, actually it's not that bad. You use one hand for X, O, [ ], triangle, L1 and R1. You use the other hand for Left analog stick, d-pad, and start and select. Have your button config like this: X=Ctrl, O=Spacebar, Triangle=Z, [ ]=X, L1=A, R1=S, Left analog stick up down left and right=up down left and right arrow keys, D-Pad up down left and right=Number pad 1, numpad 0, numpad 2, numpad 3, Start=Enter/Return, and Select=\ I have an easy time with the controls with this config.

@HERO Do you have SonicStage installed, and checked in the Configuration tab? If not, go online, Google SonicStage, download it, and install it. Then, in JPCSP, go to Options, Configuration, then go to the Media tab, and be sure to select Use Media Engine and Use SonicStage. Also, check Extract files to tmp folder. If you are having more trouble, please send me a Message and I will get back to you.

I followed your instructions fully and completely, but whenever i start a new game, skip the opening scenes, get to the first trial of the in-game tutorial: the part where you have to attack the single ring, but after the cut scene( the one where Ventus walks up and says "I got some time to spare") Ventus assumes a battle position but no keyblade appears in his hands, he still swings his arms around as if he has a keyblade but i cannot hit the rings therefore i cannot move forward in the game.

@AleMMR95 Sorry, I thought that I responded to you, but I guess that YouTube didn't allow it for some odd reason... ANyway, for Terra, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get past that spot on Deep Space. I have tried everything, and it doesn't work. This is just in Terra's story though (I think, I haven't gotten that far as Aqua, but I have completed the game as Ventus). Also, you can use CWCheat codes to skip to bosses later in the game if you want, however, after you win, the game will freeze.

@zalmatra There shouldn't be any files that need to be decrypted (well, actually, JPCSP is going to extract the PGD files. That is normal, but it shouldn't give you that message. Did you use my .rar package with that emulator and ISO file? If not, download it. Also, if you have Media Engline checked, I don't think that the game will work unless you ALSO have SonicStage checked (and don't check that either unless you have installed it. I think that the link for SonicStage is in my .rtf file)

@lefter1sK Hmmmm... I don't know what the problem is. Are you SURE that you downloaded the .exe version and it was the Windows 32-bit edition? If you can't get it to work, you can try deleting it. Here's how to do it: Go to your Local Disk Drive C (unless yours is different). Then, go to program files (x86) then go to Java then DELETE the JRE7 folder. There should be a JRE6 folder right there next to it, and after deleting it, you will just use Java 6 until you reinstall it.

@SORATWILIGHT Do you have ANY options enabled in the Video tab in Configuration? Also, DO NOT zoom in! That feature isn't fully implemented yet. If you want to zoom in without causing glitches, follow these steps. Right click on your desktop, select Screen Resolution, then go to Advanced Settings, and then select List All Modes, then select any resolution you want. 640x480 makes everything much bigger, and it doesn't mess up the game.

@lefter1sK You can get Xpadder at which can simulate button presses. So, if you plug in a controller, and lets say that you set the X button the press the S button on the keyboard, and on JPCSP, you have the X button set to S, then when you press the X button on your controller, it will simulate pressing the S button on the keyboard, therefore making you do the X action. Just make sure that your drivers are installed.

@rbiswas0906 Try not watching the cutscenes. On your computer, you may just want to skip all of them entirely. That may help.

@chessplayerjames yea i tried pressing a button (first start, then ne of the "shape" buttons) and the game showed some green lines that distorted the frame in the cutscene and then went to a black screen.. idk is somethin wrong? o and btw if i get a mac, would KHBBS run better?

@rbiswas0906 I really don't know if Mac will work better nor not. I'm not sure if my .rar files will work with Mac, but it might, and they do have JPCSP working for Mac (I think, they do have a build for it).  I think most of the problems are with your computer, as it's specs are very low (for emulation. They work fine for most applications, but not for emulating PSP's.)

@rbiswas0906 Sorry, I don't know why it crashes. Try restarting your computer before you play the game. If you downloaded my package, then it is a computer problem probably.

@rbiswas0906 Try disabling the media engine and the sonic stage and the extract tmp files. That may or may not help.

@rbiswas0906 I used an untouched ISO from ffinsider . net, and I also downloaded the decrypted eboot.bin, and the tmp folder.
