The US government often consciously increases the risk of terrorism, because it has other interests in mind which are higher on its list of priorities than terrorism prevention. For example, it was known that the invasion of Iraq would increase the threat of terror. The difference with 9/11 is that this is a very specific thing, and not only that but it involved centers of power. Power doesn't simply let itself be destroyed.

Let me simplify this for you. To debunk the official version you must put forth a positive claim. Example: Prof. Plum, in the library with the pipe wrench. Then you must provide proof to your claim. That proof will then be examined by others. Simple. So let's start with 'who'. What person, team, department or government agency did this? Be as specific as you can. Next, provide substantiative evidence. Circumstantial evidence is only considered when physical evidence comes with it.

I think one (maybe two?) such video was released in '06 after a fuss in court. It's a bad angle for seeing the plane, so truthers jumped all over it.

I believe the official explanation for not releasing that (and other footage?) has something to do with fighting terrorism. Yeah, they do have a point about the administration acting suspiciously about 9/11, but that doesn't prove anything.

the world trade center is a very high building, its easy to sink down to 250 metres above the ground, and then vertically hit the building. thats just one dimension, right and left, because the altitude stays the same.

the pentagon is not very high and surrounded by trees. maybe they even tried to get velocity into the airplane. anyway, they had to actively push the airplane down, making it more difficult to hit their target. just look at where the hole is ;)

Not according to just about everyone. Nearly all of the books printed on the subject say that after Clinton left office there was little to no interest by the Bush administration in counter terrorism. The evidence suggests that they unintentionally let it happen by dropping the ball.

1. Watergate was a conspiracy but it was true, how come you think it's a myth?!

2. The "Ship that was sinking and that was staged" was the "Tonkin Incident" and was also a real conspiracy. It was the USS Maddox ship. The US government claimed it was attacked and sunk by vietnamese ships and used this as a false pretence to start the vietnam war. CIA admitted this lie officially on 30.Nov 2005

dercrossi: i have to clarify this, i dont think that it is a myth, i just rejected it because it is unrelated to the topic of september 11, it doesnt prove that there was a conspiracy behind september 11. this is the reason why i rejected the argument. of course watergate was a conspiracy. but watergate consisted of low-risk non violent crimes involving very few people, when you look at it you can see that it would be possible to keep it secret. september 11 just is a different scale.

im not so sure i agree about plane #4, if it hit hard enough to bury itself, we would still see the back part of the plane sticking out. the lack of debris, i think is a giant factor.

also, about the pentagon, i have never heard anyone say what u said about crashing right in front of it.

i still have a problem with dismissing pasts histories of conspirators, Cheney/Bush.

about the airplane hitting the ground in front of the pentagon... this is where you can see the hole in the ground.

airplanes at a steeper angle always hit nose first, leaving one deep hole. at a less vertical angle they will leave a scar in the landscape.

such airplane crashes are rare, but at those velocities even the back of the plain would be hammered into the ground. you see them when they get actively steered towards the ground or are completely out of control.

of course all the people that are promoting 911 conspiracy theories will never show that footage, but there are high quality helicopter-videos out there that clearly show the region in front of the building from above, and you can see the scar in the terrain.

even some conspiracy theorysts admit it, and say that gouvernment agents have been digging the hole in advance. so maybe you can find it even in some conspiracy theorists footage.
