Basra progressively got worse under British "control". The milk and cookies approach just doesn't work. You are right about having to deal with more BS upstairs though.

Bear in mind I'm not referring to the Brit army nor the British military - I'm talking about Royal Marines here. We're an entirely different fighting force from you lot altogether, as proud and professionally gung ho as the USMC may be.
