But when I started the engine(I didn't drive away immediately)the it stopped. This happened twice. But then my dad started it and it was good so he went to the tankstation(for oil and gasoline). Later on I started the engine again without troubles. The guy from the store said this probably happened because the vespa is totally new(and maybe I didn't start the engine well). But maybe's he lying.. I hope you know something about this? Sorry for the bad english.
Good video. If I lived in a close urban area like that I would have one.
Also like how people park in both directions on both sides of the road. You do that here in the states and you'll get ticketed at least or possibly towed.
Well, London is bad enough for parking... they are on commission and they have platoons of stupid parking attendance roaming all the time... if only they invested the money they make on education...
2 stroke vs 4 stroke: roughly more noise, more acceleration, less torque, less mileage. Usually 2 stroke is used for lawnmowers, mopeds or (some) competition bikes. 4 stroke is better (and essential to be usable) for larger scooters and proper bikes.
Would really love a Vespa S..... or any Vespa for that matter. Just oozes class and style really, like the chrome detailing, the square lamp and I like that 2-stroke razzy engine noise, just as a Vespa should be.
But of course my girlfriend would go bonkers if I bought a scooter! She'd kill me, ironically......
The noise is really annoying. It doesn't sound like that on the road does it?

2stroke or 4?
LannoProductions 3 years ago
it's a 2 stroke 50cc
VodkaLemon2 3 years ago
probably a retarded question but whats the difference between a 2 and a 4 stroke? (speed?)

Thanks for the fast reply!
so i'm assuming that the Vespa S50 4stroke will go a bit faster due to a more powerful engine than the 2stroke, correct?
jonas3154 2 years ago
The opposite actually. The 4stroke 50cc barely moves... :-)

not much really... 30mph standard and about 42-45 if de-restricted. Ok for the centre of town and easy to go through traffic.
