  • This is why you don't blade yourself with a broken arm.

  • Jerichoholic for LIFE!!!

  • Thanx for the upload....true Jerichoholics were searchin' this!!!

  • IS THAT JIM ROSS CALLING THE MATCH ??

  • @snakeeater1977 yes it is!

  • Shitty finish to an OK match.

  • I wonder what happened to that dumbass redneck who tasted his blood

  • wow chris has just departued from wwe man this sucks

  • @puredamnwrestling It's only very briefly, he'll be back sometime this month or the next.

  • Is this the match with one of the greatest bladejobs ever?

  • wrestling with a broken arm! Lionheart for sure.

  • Can't understand why the shots at the ring are so crappy, and those outside ring are decent.

  • @jaymr oh yeah? are you sure you didn't just read that in Jericho's book? hmm?

  • i miss teams like this. cornettes teams were all very similar to me,but that is not a bad thing.

  • storm is sick man i wish they would have let storm do stuff like this on wwf and jericho was nuts to wrestle with is radius fractured but oh well

  • Thrillseekers rock...

    Go Jericho!

  • scariest thing about this is that 1994 looks fuckin ancient on video and yet i remember it........startin to feel worryingly old.......

  • jericho broke his arm botching a shooting star press

  • This is the first match I've seen with The Thrillseekers and they remind me of The Rockers at the beginning. I think Jericho even does a superkick at 0:14. Some good stuff thanks for uploading 5/5 *faves it. *

  • 10:55 - 11:00 Notice Jericho handing the ref the blade.

  • good eye man i missed that i dont know if i would have the guts to cut my forehead like that man

  • Gigilo Jimmy Del Ray was da shit!!!

  • great name, hilarious that he is far from having a heavenly body, and the dude did a moonsault back when people barely went to the top rope!

  • Long live Smoky Mountain Wrestling!

  • fuck conrette he went back 2 WWE, got fired and went to TNA

  • he got fired for slappin the shit outta Santino when he was in a developmental territory.

  • What makes it even better is that good ol' J.R. has the call.

  • awesome match

  • Just finished reading Jericho's book.

He broke his arm earlier that day trying a shooting star press.

Jericho is a great wrestler, and pretty athletic... but not THAT athletic.

He can't pull everything off, but his lionsault is always spot-on (except for when he tried it as Super Liger)

  • Or when he hit his old boss with his knee doin the lionsalt "Accidentally" of course. Anyways knocked the crap out of him!

  • hahaha oh yeah!

  • @poisongodmachine3 Great book! Up until he started kissing up to the WWE. I quit reading at that point.

  • wow the book explains good!!

  • Tämä se matsi on max-kulta:D

  • Isn't this the match where some fan tasted Jerichos blood (after the match) and said it isn't real? :P

  • Just read about this match in Jericho's book. He had his arm broken and he still wrestled. Jericho your a legend.

  • And if Jericho doesn't look disgusting enough bloodied like that, there's a redneck in the crowd who tastes his blood to evaluate if it's real or not to make the whole shebangabang repulsing.

    Excellent match.

  • i always found it hilarious that Ted Dibiase(a HEEL announcer at the time) could not stand Jimmy Del Ray because his dancing was "hideous."

  • Was that Michael Jackson or Jim Cornett at ringside........lol

    Some weird clothes...........LOL

    Cornett looks like a clown

  • And the fact that Jericho wrestled this match with a legit broken arm that he injured earlier that day practicing a shooting star press he was going to use during this match makes it even more amazing

  • Yes I remember this match. Y2J earns the nickname the Lionheart from the heart he shows in this match.

  • ummm, no. He actually was using the name Lionheart in both Mexico and Germany before coming to SMW

  • 1 WORD CLASSIC

  • I remember I spent a deal of money getting this match on VHS around '95 (well, about $30 or so). . . great, classic match, very rarely mentioned these days

  • this is what I grew up going to in the South East area. I was at every event when they were in the Knoxville Collisieum. Of course I was 5 at this time, so I roughly remember it. It's cool knowing Jericho and Storm made their mark here, as well as D'Lo Brown and Kane.

  • Lance looked like a white Will Smith

  • its a shame that lance storms career had to end so early, he was a great talent

  • Lance willfully retired. He said due to not wanting to travel anymore, he was done. It's not like he was injured out of wrestling, he chose to go.

  • They were young back then

  • LOL at the back of Storms hairstyle

  • Its been a while since I have seen a ref in suspenders.

  • bloodddddddddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • ha I just read about this match today. It's amazing that Jericho was still able to wrestle.

  • What song was the Thrillseekers' theme music in Smoky Mountain Wrestling?

  • Never mind; it was "Rock America" by Danger Danger, off their self-titled debut album.

  • Thanks for posting this video! It is awesome to watch after reading about it in Jericho's book.

  • do any of you guys know who Jim Cornette is?

  • One of the greatest professional wrestling managers, ever..

  • The man who should be running creative in TNA along with Paul E Heyman instead of just being an on role personality

  • The problem with that is I believe Heyman and Cornette can't stand each other.

  • cornette is on the booking team but J.J would rather listen to russo.

  • bobby heenan's successor as the greatest manager. he's managed guys like the midnight express, heavenly bodies, yokozuna, and vader just to name a few.

  • great stuff thanx, i read bout dis in the y2j book as well. Lance never should have sported that ponytail lol POST some Vignettes or promos from the thrillseekers!

  • yeah i read this in his book to,it was a fantstic book.

  • me too andits one of the best books ive ever read about the business, very funny in places

  • yeah..mainly becuz the WWE didn't publish it like they do others..so it was very tell all, tell all..which i liked...it was a tremendous book...

  • Jericho broke his arm doing a shooting star press great post

  • Funny I just read Jericho's book and he talked about this match and the BS story of him getting into a "motorcycle accident" earlier in the day but damn that was alot of blood loss and he had to go in for surgery the next day.

  • wow JR actually called a match. the theatrical stuff on raw gets old real fast.

    ~bcb_.

  • very good wrestling match

  • Wow, what an awesome match! Wish I could have seen a Thrillseekers reunion in one of the other promotions. Has Lance Storm ever had a different hair cut?

  • Dude did you not notice the ugly ass blonde rats tail he was rocking here?

  • Great match...great use of blood...and damn The Bodies got great heat.

  • Never knew JR did work for Smoky Mountian, wow

  • Storm was a better wrestler than Jericho IMO, but Lance had no personality.

  • Jericho broke his arm in a motorcycle accident? I thought it was from shooting star press.

  • it was. but he did it while practicing for the match. doesnt make for a nice of story as a motorcylce accident!

  • Yeah,that's what I read too.

So cool that you actually trained those two!

  • Where can I get a pair of gold pants like Jim Cornette had in this match?

  • Didn't you listen to the commentary? It was "the late Liberace's garage sale" ; )

  • this match kinda put jericho on the map in the states where would he be had he not wrestled because of his arms

  • Shouldn't they logically have been working on Jericho's bad arm?

  • Yes, except it was fractured that day and needed surgery. So logic would have ended a career.

  • what year is this

  • In 1994.

  • jericho is a sexy beast! lol im not gay at all btw lol

  • i liked that jericho apprently still wanted to do sum dives and shit that lance storm had to step in and say "if i could be serious for a moment, i dont think thats a good idea"

  • lance storm

  • what is the rating in muta scale for this one?

  • whats the muta scale?

  • see the muta vs hiroshi, see the blood muta lost in that one, since that, many of us judge bladejobs in muta scale, it's a rating, like the henning scale of overselling. 0.1 is no blood at all, and 1.0 is the amount of blood muta lost in that match

  • The REAL reason why Jericho had a broken arm in that match was from trying a shooting star press earlier on after Cornette told him not to do it. Anyway, he did and had to go through with the match anyway. I dont know where the motorcycle story came from?

  • Indeed correct, sir.

  • Jim Ross made up the motorcycle story to cover for Jericho according to his book.

  • thats before jericho turned gay and started calling himself a "sexy beast"

  • On the Muta scale....I would say that is an 9. Only Cena and Guerrero from Judgement Day when they bleed like stuck pigs.....and the worst by far were Bill Alfonso against Beaulah McGillicuty in ECW and the Mass Transit incident.

  • Also Cactus Jack in the 1995 IWA Japan KODM had a hell of a crimson mask.

  • And Steve Corino in pretty much every match when he was in ECW.

  • r.i.p mark curtis

  • The guy wit Jim Ross is the "Legendary" Les Thatcher.

  • Yes that is J.R announcing, a young one. I don't know who the other guy is

  • Jericho had a motorcycle accident that same day and had gone to the ER. He said in a shoot that the massive blood loss was due to aspirin that he'd taken earlier that day.

  • Anyone watch Lance Vs Danielson in RoH that is an awesome match. I miss Lance.

  • I believe that is J.R. announcing.

  • That is one bad cut

  • Is that Jim Ross on commentary?

  • Yeap

  • thats the most i've saw jericho bleed

  • Damn i didnt expect to see blood and i did lots of it

  • you are still fat.... after a year! go on a fucking diet

  • You got it all wrong man. The Bodies' fat asses are why they're so great. They were the last of the fat, hairy southern wreslers. Give me these guys over juiced psychos any day.
