Sheer brilliance. For me, this piece invokes an image of some rather mischivious students who are yes, a tad aristocratic. There's something hauntingly beautiful about "Millbrook" that can have me listening to it five times in succession. I would love to hear a song of Rufus' 25th highschool reunion!
Is this supposed to be a promotional video for the school? Cuz the song's an odd choice if so - I've never thought of it as particularly complementary to his fellow students!
This song reminds me of the section in Jonathan Lethem's novel "The Fortress of Solitude" about the protagonist's time at an elite private school.
