Wow, what an amazing person. Mr. Eby is so loyal and caring in the face of tragedy. Truly a hero. People who are absorbed in the frivolous aspects of life should watch this video and learn from it.
you beautiful beautiful man I pray everyday that there is a cure for huntingtons as my father and brothers all have the disease my father now in the last stages, he has had onset symptoms for 20 years, he is such a fighter.
You are truly a very compassionate and remarkable man. I think that it is great that you have decided to be there for your family insted of leaving. I know it must be difficult but just hang in there and it will be ok. From working in a nursing home, I've seen people who were divorced just from other ilnesses so I commend you for sticking with your family. You are truly amazing and I wish y'all the best of luck.
you are a truly remarkable man, my father,aunt,3 cousins, great grandmother, uncle, have all died of it and now my darling brother Cliff has it. he is the only one of seven children. thank you for your compassion and love for your family, an example to us all.
Ive always thought of how few people really stand by their loved ones when something like this happens. It must be really hard to look at your spouse, your lover, your equal, and now that you can't easily interact as equals. That they need so much more protection now.I think most people get too scared or depressed to really be their for the people who gave them and still give them their undying, unconditional love. It's amazing that this guy did--warms my soul.I hope i can be as good if I need to be.
You are a man who loves his family. My aunt and uncle died form this disease. It is so devastating . My mom took care of her sister as long as she could, then she had to put her in a home. My aunt got this disease at 28 years old. She had two boys and neither one got it. Thank you GOD. I hope a cure comes soon for your family. GOD BLESS YOU.
My family has it to Pop Mum already past away now two more of my family are getting sick . its horrible having this in the back of your mind. good to see someone doing the right thing
we had another family member pass away this week from huntingtons, I commend you on your strength while dealing with this disease. we currently have at least another 6 members of the family still struggling to cope with kife and huntingtons. my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. god bless you.
Im a med school student researching on HD, and this man is a great inspiration not on ly on how to face HD but towards life itself, thank you wonderful man God bless you , and may him allow more people and myself be like you

In addition to funding research for a cure, the government and insurance companies should provide free In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with Pre-Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) testing to exclude embryos with the HD gene to anyone at-risk for HD who wants it. Even those who don't want to know if they have HD can have kids that will never get the disease or be able to pass on the gene. HD could be eradicated in one generation, saving the government billions in future long term healthcare for HD patients.
wow. i am doing a project on this tragic disease for nursing school. It has some awesome information. Praying they find a cure for this life stealing condition in the near future!
This man is about the kindest man I've ever seen, I hope he goes to heaven. Good luck with your problem, I wish you the best of the greatest luck Sir!
Very impressive! Wish you all the best during this difficult time, in which you still find the energy to put a smile on your face and to take care of your wife. A perfect example of how love should be.
My Grandfather has this Horrid disease as does two of my aunts and my Grandmother reminds me of this man Taking care of an HD patient is no easy job. and i'm sending him my deepest prayers and love.
You love your family very much and even though you suffer because for her disease, believe me, she loves you too and she knows how much you love her. She may feel very lucky to have you. You are lucky because you are healthy. Try to be happy even in those circumstances, she can feel sad if she can't give you consolation.
I can see that he is smilling but inside he wants to scream. I know exactly the feeling since my mother has HD. And unfortunately here in Greece nobody knows this disease and there is no goverment help at all. That sucks. All i want to say is that you are a hero. So pls try to keep on smilling and cherish the moments with your wife and daughter as if nothing changed. These moments are precious whaever the outcome.
I think you are a great person. Your strength, patience and hope is simply inspirational. Huntingtons is in my family; my mum was carer to her mother and now cares for her sister. She has decided not to be tested yet and all we can do is hope that she is not also affected by it. Thank you for posting this video. My thoughts are with you.
You are a remarkable Husband/Father/Caregiver. My Father passed away almost 8 years ago from HD. I have lost Uncles,Cousins,so many to mention. I watch your face and see how Hd has touched you and I am so proud that you are there for your family. NEVER give up hope. The cure will be founds. The Smiles have touched myheart.
I wish I could reach out and give you a big hug. You are a good man; a good husband and father, to be there for your family. I agree that it is the most difficult job to have, but definitely one you can do better than anyone else. I truly love your optimism for a cure. I am hoping right along with you. Thank you for sharing this special video. Know someone is thinking about your family today. Would you mind if I added this video to my facebook page? Hang in there. You are doing the right things.
Through tradegy, he still is positive and loving. a lesson to us all.

We have a sacred duty to make the best man,
Here in the earth, what use pity?
What what is good in helping these people?
We must remove these people sick,
They are just parasites appalling
Why sympathize ?
welwitcha2000 1 year ago
Remove these people and because we honor the life
One loses force when we sympathize
Pity increases the loss of strength,
Suffering already brings to life.
suffering itself becomes contagious through pity.
It's absurd pettiness of sympathy for this cause.
welwitcha2000 1 year ago
bless you sir. My mother suffered from this and died on Mother's Day 1982. I hope that you soon get to be free from this.

Very hard reality, people that are not aware of this disease, has no idea of how painful and vulnerable it is to see your love ones with HD.
HD runs in my maternal side of the family, The best medicine is Lot's Love and patience.
