I know it must be difficult but just hang in there and it will be ok. • I don't think anyone's saying they can reverse the brain damage caused, it's pretty heart wrenching that he thinks it's a possibility..

  • Ive always thought of how few people really stand by their loved ones when something like this happens. It must be really hard to look at your spouse, your lover, your equal, and now that you can't easily interact as equals. That they need so much more protection now.I think most people get too scared or depressed to really be their for the people who gave them and still give them their undying, unconditional love. It's amazing that this guy did--warms my soul.I hope i can be as good if I need to be.

  • We have a sacred duty to make the best man,

Here in the earth, what use pity?

What what is good in helping these people?

We must remove these people sick,

    They are just parasites appalling

    Why sympathize ?

  • Remove these people and because we honor the life

One loses force when we sympathize

Pity increases the loss of strength,

    Suffering already brings to life.

suffering itself becomes contagious through pity.

It's absurd pettiness of sympathy for this cause.

  • bless you sir. My mother suffered from this and died on Mother's Day 1982. I hope that you soon get to be free from this.

  • Very hard reality, people that are not aware of this disease, has no idea of how painful and vulnerable it is to see your love ones with HD.

HD runs in my maternal side of the family, The best medicine is Lot's Love and patience.

  • Man that was a sad video.

  • thank you so much for shareing this with us, my dad died with hd and we all had to be so strong, you are wonderfull man.

  • sigh this is so sad

he's got such a wonderful attitude and he's such a good husband and father

he seems so tortured inside.. :(

  • Ray is a neat guy. "Always hoping"

  • god bless this man!!!!!

  • God bless you call. this just makes me so sad watching this. i wouldn't be strong enough to get through the whole interview without crying.

  • God bless him.... I wouldnt be able to smile if my dad that bad...sadly my dad has this and its getting really bad

  • I can see that he is smilling but inside he wants to scream. I know exactly the feeling since my mother has HD. And unfortunately here in Greece nobody knows this disease and there is no goverment help at all. That sucks. All i want to say is that you are a hero. So pls try to keep on smilling and cherish the moments with your wife and daughter as if nothing changed. These moments are precious whaever the outcome.

    My heart is with you.

    Zoi from Greece

  • I think you are a great person. Your strength, patience and hope is simply inspirational. Huntingtons is in my family; my mum was carer to her mother and now cares for her sister. She has decided not to be tested yet and all we can do is hope that she is not also affected by it. Thank you for posting this video. My thoughts are with you.

  • We found out that my Mom has huntington's disease, we didn't know anything about this disease before then.

We are praying for a cure. Your family is in our prayers!!

  • I wish I could reach out and give you a big hug. You are a good man; a good husband and father, to be there for your family. I agree that it is the most difficult job to have, but definitely one you can do better than anyone else. I truly love your optimism for a cure. I am hoping right along with you. Thank you for sharing this special video. Know someone is thinking about your family today. Would you mind if I added this video to my facebook page? Hang in there. You are doing the right things.
