i think you are ok, and whats happening in this video is normal. No one is sick and no one is making a mistake. The kid was a little scared its true, but nothing he couldnt handle. Its a healthy good looking kid and i think you are making a good job giving him experience.... I may not be a father yet but you dont look like a bad mother judging the way your son looks.
I still remember going on this one ride with my mom when I was little. It was called "The Black Hole" I think. My mom didn't know, but I "lost my stomach" and couldn't even breath until it was over and my mom didn't know. I just made a growling noise the whole time. That ride was CRAZY.

The essence of my reply was that people who think children should be wrapped in cotton wool should realise that their own fears are limiting their children's youthful exploration and fun. My daughter's first roller coaster was Big Thunder Mountain at WDW. She wanted to go "on the train ride", even after I showed her, it goes fast. She was 5. She was white knuckled, her face similar to his, the whole time. I wished I'd video tape it.
LOL @ people who are mad i video taped him on his first roller coaster ride that he BEGGED to go on. i wish my mom had a vid of MY face on MY first coaster. i bet i looked way more horrified than my son did. relax and be real. we ALL looked like that on our first coaster. i just managed to catch it on video. :p
