if you want to keep the frosting a wee bit softer add 1 tsp - 1.5 tsp of white corn syrup...just a thought.

Your very welcome. I use about 1 tablespoon in my double Chocolate Cream Cheese frosting. Makes it softer but not runny and also makes it shiny.

You know, it basically comes down to space. I just don't have the cupboard space to store one. I had one many many years ago, it broke and I just never replaced it. I'm okay with my hand mixer.

Kind of like carrot cake, you can't really taste the sweet potatoes in it, the spices are what you taste. It would be a lot faster if you could find the canned sweet potatoes.
