@killawaid God is the father of everyone. He is the most just Father you could ask for. He loves all. He is just. So tell me this, would a good Father not justly judge murderers? rapists? people who talk back to him?

Would you rather have a Father who will let people act wildly committing tons of sins without consequences?

@Jsirr13 I understand your response to killawaid but you're wrong about God being everyones father. Jesus told the Pharisees that they followed the desires of their father, the devil. The wheat and the tares. God owns everything but not all people are His children. Only the ones that are born into His family are His children. Yes, He does love everyone and offers them eternal life but unless they are born again they will perish.

@Jsirr13 How can some people be children of the devil if everyone is Gods child? True, God does own everything and is in control but that doesnt mean everyone is in Gods family. If you're not in the family, how can God be your father? He is God of all but not Father to all. He is Father to those who accept His Son. No one comes unto the Father except through me.....Jesus Christ. You have to be born again into Gods family. Then, God is your father.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (October 24), Psalm 47:1-9 was the Scripture for our Sunday School Lesson. It was entitled "God's Rule Over the Nations."
