The way I see it is that when African Americans perform African dance they have to represent the whole west African diaspora because we came from many tribes with different dances, cultures, langauges and rhythms, but we became one people out of many tribes by force.
i am a Ghanaian and have never seen a Guinean dance but i absolutely love it.....i am speechless. this is what people should be aspiring to do. the beauty and energy wow!!! Africa we are too blessed. this is just great!
