Listen AGAIN to those lines. This is what bebop is supposed to sound like. This is just as harmonicaly altered as anything else, but Jim is using these scales with taste. Wonderful stuff.

This is the most tasteful bebop I've ever heard on a guitar.

Smooth, always in total control. Jim is one of the all time greats. Only a lucky select few know about him.

Jim Nichols is the ultimate unsung guitar hero. He has an amazing ear, wonderful improvisational fluency, and swinging jazz chops - kind of like Joe Pass meets Chet Atkins. Few guitarists come close to Jim's level of musicianship.

Tommy Emmanuel on the drums. . what a kick and not totally unexpected as he plays more drums on his guitar than some drummers.

Jim is one of the most underrated guitarist that has such incredible heart to his playing.

I'm really glad to see that someone put this out on Youtube.

Jim and Morning are one of my favorite musical couples.

Jim is so modest but he is a master player.
