  • thanks for the great tuning idea I have all the parts in my scrap boxes. it was hard to tell if both ends of the coil was grounded at first but i'll asume they are..and kinda makes sence anyway

    Thanks agian, billiam9090

  • Nice T-type tuner! I'm also made it :)

  • friend could send me the layout of the antenna tuner really enjoyed it ok

  • T network tuner work very well. I also like making the L network tuners for 160m or 80m. 73, VE3RKP

  • What is the impedance range that this will tune please??

  • I love the idea of turning trash into treasure. Thanks for sharing this video. Really inspiring. I wish you and Dave would have shown the tuner in operation to prove it works.

  • love homebrew.

if you didn't have a multipole switch available, i suppose you could use a bank of toggle switches with the cold terminals ganged together and then connect the hot terminals to the tap points on your coil.

would look kinda cool i think.

  • MFJ tuners make good "parts supplys" too BTW! Thats all they are good for.

  • Great ideas. Thanks for sharing!
