Seeing a video and seeing it live is different too... I saw Devildriver live and it was amazing... Plus you have to take into consideration.. dez tours nearly all year round.. year after year.. that takes a toll on your voice esp. as a metal singer. i'd say that in some concerts he may be overworked.. and it effects the sound.. in this case he probably sounded better at the concert the video quality here is not great.. not bad, but not great.

Haha I LOVE DevilDriver but I think it's amazing how much more intense Slipknot is at the same concert (not music wise). And that's after Slipknot has slowed way down. I swear Slipknot was the most intense performers I've ever seen and no band can match their crazyness. EVER

Devildriver i my opinion is one of the best metal bands ever, but the best live metal band would have to be strapping young lad. It's a shame they're not around anymore.
