  • Piers Morgan is a tool, how did that waste of life get his own show?

  • honestly why should believers be offended by jokes about their GOd?

it just shows how ignorant those people are

  • I'm sorry, Ricky Gervais, but we actually do have proof that there is a god. YOU.

  • But I fucked your dad up his azz in celebration. Thank you for this award and the fun and exuberance I had slapping my very heavy balls on your dad's buttocks

  • he made no arguments. he just stated his beliefs. great yet another athiest with no proof God or jesus isnt real. This is a dead argument. Evolution theory was proven wrong already. So now what created the earth? Aliens? you guys will do anything to not believe in God.

  • @latenightaffairs "..with no proof god or jesus isnt real." Atheism is not about "proving" wether god or jesus is real or not, its much simplier than that. Atheism is simply the absence of belief that god exists. I assume you believe in God, I am not an Atheist by the way. There is over 4000 different religions in the world, and over 6000 languages. Are you saying every religion except your own is wrong? Just a question, thanks

  • @latenightaffairs

    show proof of god's existance.

  • @latenightaffairs Why is it necessary for Gervais to make an argument? He's not taking part in a theological debate. He hasn't been asked to provide evidence for his beliefs. He has every right to discuss his opinions and doesn't owe you or anyone else any more than that. As for the theory of evolution, when was it 'proven' wrong exactly? I'd be interested to know your source.

  • Morgan is the most unlikable person on CNN.

  • Piers Morgan is a fucking idiot, it is so distasteful to listen to him trying to tell Ricky that it is okay for christians to be offended

  • I hate Piers Moron.

  • What makes me laugh with Religious people, is the amount of different Religions all over the world. Funny how where you are geographically, that is your God. Even if there was a God (there isn't) you can't all be right...

  • @ElvisLivesUpstairs

Question I love to ask people is if you were raised in a muslim country do you think you would still be christian? Gets an interesting response

  • @iEditStuf hehe I bet.

  • ricky gervais does my tits in but he does make alot of sense. specially when he says "i am nice to people the way i would be treated" im exactly the same. believing in religion is like you have to be nice like its forced so you can get into heaven where im nice because thats the way i am.

  • brilliant video apart from piers morgan's stupid fucking smug face. as a british man i apologise to america for inflicting this douche bag upon you.

  • in the name of the lo......damn im starting to evolve

  • lol he thinks he decides what morality is? me, me me. selfish bastard. so close to satanism its ridiculous.

  • @deathshallcome2u Yes, people do decide what is moral. This is why we can now look at the new and old testament and find so many things in the bible that we now consider immoral, because morals evolve. Slavery is now immoral. The golden rule predates the Judeo Christian religion by thousands of years. Morals do not come from religion.

  • @evilyig no they don't. man is greatly flawed so how can they logically say what is good and what is bad? and the golden rule has errors.

  • @deathshallcome2u What's selfish is the way you think you're a special creation in the universe with special rules and a special purpose with the most amazing thing in the entire universe personally caring about how you feel and what you think and do.

  • @evilyig so you think i should just give into the world and let people feed me bs lies that science is good and that i should rule out any other explanation as to why we are here? and you say im selfish?

  • @deathshallcome2u No, you go out and discover it for yourself. Science isnt hiding anything, it isn't inaccessible. Knowledge is a tool everyone is equipped with. How come there is such a vast and diverse network of scientist, yet all of them agree, for the most part, in evolution? Its not just some arbitrary beauracracy, the process to get something like evolution to become an accepted theory is rigorous and takes decades with mountains of supporting evidence and ruthless peer review.

  • @KillaTequilla83 i have done my research on evolution and it has great gaps in it. and its also unnatural to teach. the only reason scientists all agree on it is because they came up with it duh. they sit around in their own stew. outside of science prove to me that evolution is true.and your saying because it takes long and rigorous in theories that means it automatically means its right? hmmm i know lots of things that are long and rigorous that have later been proved wrong.

  • @deathshallcome2u Please enlighten me on these supposed gaps, I'm sure you've truly researched everything you could and have cited objective sources from both a religious and scientific database and cross referenced them. And prove it without science? Now I know that you're not even sure what this term means. Its is the objective observations and deductions drawn from nature. How else can I prove it? Draw evidence from Garfield? Seriously, show me your research, I'm honestly curious.

  • @KillaTequilla83 first of all atheists don't believe in the supernatural ghosts, demons, unicorn, and because of this they do no believe in big foot. i find that very ironic because the last time i checked bigfoot was half man half ape which would be your missing link. second Dr. Johanson who found the neanderthal lucy, the one that everyone thought was it. lied and was paid to say it was. here bones were found scattered throughout Ethiopia and they only found a partial skeleton.

  • @deathshallcome2u - please stop commenting. You're not helping your cause. You're sounding like an incredible moron. Please, for your sake, for my sake, for everyone's sake - stop talking. Thank you.

  • @jakemcguire777 i can do whatever it want and people only say stop talking when they are backed into a corner and they know that they cant get out. please stop please stop talking! atheists are the ones shit talking and your not going to get away with you pos shit talk.

  • @deathshallcome2u - Wow. You are something special. In just three short sentences - the first of which is a disaster and a run-on - you've managed to, somehow, reel off nine separate grammatical errors. Please do me (and yourself) a favor and refer back to my earlier request. You are riddled with a level of grand mal shitheadedness that most people are not ready for. Please spare us all and kindly shut the hell up. Thank you for your attention to this matter, moron.

  • @jakemcguire777 bitch. i do whatever i want. you cant tell me what to do. and if you don't like get your know it all ass out of here you pos. plus, what are you? the grammer police? your just a youtube internet warrior and have no substance. if i was face to face with you right now you and i known darn well you would be choke slammed into the pavement right now.

  • @deathshallcome2u - You are just ever-so-adorable when you're angry (oh, and if you're keeping count - you whittled your mistakes down to nine mistakes, well done). Picking on slow, uneducated (and most likely, broke) people like you is just too easy and so much fun for me. Watching you 'talk shit' and threaten people with violence; hilarious. Aren't you the same numbskull that was preaching about Christianity and such a bit ago? You are a representation of all that is wrong in this country.

  • @jakemcguire777 and you are the perfect example of why we need to legalize being able to shoot people. and our country was screwed up way before me you dumbass. and while i may not be the sharpest person at least im not a know it all fag unlike you. i bet you only have two or three friends and thats including your blow up doll and your hand. you sir are nothing more than a troll. i bet your a member of spam nation.

  • @deathshallcome2u - Hey look everybody! The faithful, god-fearing Christian wants the ability to shoot people. Hey Einstein - take a moment and look up 'hypocrisy' in the dictionary. You might be surprised to find a picture of yourself. I can't thank you enough, "DeathShallCome", for you have provided for me a healthy does of entertainment. Eviscerating the thoughts and ideas of severely stupid people like yourself is an enjoyable way for me to kill some time on a Saturday. I thank you.

  • @jakemcguire777 whatever it takes to get your low life ass happy. but i find it really sad that you have to seek enjoyment by insulting people over the internet. obviously you have no life away from behind a computer screen.

  • @deathshallcome2u - Naw. I'm actually doing quite well. But I appreciate your concern. I just needed to kill a few minutes before heading out. And yes, you are correct, I enjoy seeking people out - the people who deserve it - and poking holes in their flimsy philosophy. But as I read back through our exchange I feel really bad. And I want to apologize. It's apparent that you're just too fucking stupid to 'get' anything I've said. I'll leave you alone now. Have a nice day.

  • @deathshallcome2u - Naw. I'm actually doing quite well. But I appreciate your concern. I just needed to kill a few minutes before heading out. • @jakemcguire777 yeah, yeah. take your egotistical ass and fucking leave you pos.

  • @deathshallcome2u First, atheists do not believe in anything without PROOF. Therefore since bigfoot is unsubstantiated, despite a great deal of searching, its is against principal to believe in it. He isnt a missing link because he doesnt exist, pretending he does without proof would make us hypocrites, or Christians if you will. And I would like some proof about your second point. You need to set aside you biases and look at the evidence not hearsay. Until you provide some your points are moot.

  • it won't let me post web adresses. fucking youtube.

  • @KillaTequilla83 its not what originally found but watch this anyways. youtube. "The Fake Ape Men - Michael J Penfold" posted by griffgriff78.

  • @deathshallcome2u The award for 'Best Gibberish' goes to you. Well done. Now we have to sit through your accepance speech... Should be a riot.

  • @HoratioMoonraker the award for "random asshole comment" goes to you. you beat penn jillette and seth macfarlane.

  • @deathshallcome2u I'm so thrilled - and this is so unexpected. I didn't have a speech prepared.

  • He just summed up exactly how I feel about religion and kind of just...life itself...in 3 minutes.

  • I love Ricky Gervais, but my gosh, Piers Morgan is the biggest wanker.

  • Ricky Gervais may say some absurb things, but comedy can't be about treading water.

It's saying things for what they are and to make people laugh. Quite frankly he does just that.

You can see that behind all of his comedy, he's just an ordinary guy who believes in science and nature. Good on him.

  • Why can people make fun of everything, i mean everything!!! apart from religion? whats the difference? i mean really, you can say haha you like justin bieder, but if you say , how do you know god is real and try and argue the point, you get blasted for it.

  • I 100% agree with everything Ricky said. I respect him even more now. And yes Piers Morgan is a "wankspanner"

  • in this video you understand how much brighter are British from Americans

  • @ANTROS19 I think you Britished that sentence, chap.

  • I love Ricky Gervais now. well argued..

  • America, thx for taking this cunt from the UK. You can keep him lol Well said Ricky :)

  • well.... scientology is still bar far the most stupidest shit known to mankind

  • ah ah ah ah ah just shut up. Why even discuss such an irrelevant mather. We will never understand where we come from. So stop thinking that you do by believing in a god. That is so hypocrite. Learn to live with it, there nothing more you can do, even if you think otherwise. 'Believe' me i'm right.

  • Y believers can't see he's right? I can't stand it!!

  • Gervais: "When someone thanks God, I don't get offended."

    Piers: " -snicker- "

    Gervais: " =| "

  • Its funny isnt it, why athiests dont join together and make huge clubs like religious people do. Maybe they're just not joiners. Individualists. The irony is that Jesus was an individualist, and look at all the sheep he ended up attracting.

  • @yharyhar8 Another reason that atheists aren't a powerful lobby or a revered group is because atheism is absence. What I mean is that it doesn't dominate my life. I don't wake up every morning thinking "God doesn't exist." I just don't think about religion because it is not part of my identity. Religion is just not part of my life in anyway. I was raised absent of religion so my attitude is that religious issues are nothing to me.

  • @yharyhar8 Yeah, really. It's great to believe a thinker and an innovator, but who in their right mind would believe a follower?

  • @yharyhar8 I don't think that's quite right. He explicitly told people to give up their lives, give away their goods and follow him. Nothing individualist about that.

  • MY NEW HERO. yes yes yes

    Britain has brilliant people

  • @kingkonghitme Unfortunately we also produce people like Piers Morgan...

  • Comment removed

  • This is just my opinion. God has no physical body to be evident. God is not created, creation is only possible in a time space dimension, where there is no time and no space and no matter there exists he and not forever as forever is a term used for our universe. His existence is simply incomprehensible, he is the creator and the sustainer of all energy+matter. He already knows the possibilities and outcomes before he creates. This universe is not his only creation. God is the basis of us.

  • @Testiculatorz well, you got something wrong. god is not the creator of life and matter and this was proven not long ago when the bozon of higgs was discovered. he's not the sustainer either. life and energy is sustained cause energy is continuously being recycled in the ecosystems. not trying to be mean, just saying :)

  • @mkwlord When I said energy and matter I didn't refer to what's on earth or its ecosystem I was talking about the universal energy e.g there is energy constantly popping in and out of empty space. Also I don't think god is gravity or mass and I don't see how a higgs boson (which btw hasn't been discovered so far) could prove god to be non existent. When I said god is the creator I mean god is the creator of the universe with intention to give rise to life not that he makes beings, that's easy.

  • @mkwlord also please don't get me wrong because I'm not a bible basher ;)

  • @Testiculatorz do you know how fucking stupid you fucking look.

HERP DERP GOD IS BASIS OF US HERP DERP, OMG I CANT SEE GOD BUT HES THERE, OMG I HAVE NO PROOF BUT HERES THERE, OMG IDK WHO EVEN WROTE THE BIBLE, HERP DERP, IF I PRAY IT DOESNT DO SHIT HERP DERP,

    IMA DUMB ASS, HERP DERP

  • hmm everytime that someone says he is an atheist says " i was on CHURCH sUNDAY sCHOOL"... thats why....

  • I am very impressed with Ricky Gervais. It makes me feel better watching this interview to know his full views.

  • piers morgan is a dick

  • piers morgans being a dick on here

  • Ricky Gervais 2012.

  • Piers Morgan is such a twat. He is acting as if Ricky Gervais is going against the system by being an atheist. I mean he is, in a way, because of how religion today is spoon-fed to children in schools at young ages. It takes an intellectual kind of child then to think for themselves as they grow up and decide what they want to believe. But still, with the way Piers is talking, he's making it seem as if Ricky's the only one.

  • •Therefore God doesn’t send people to hell, they choose it (Romans 1:18,21,25).

  • yet again piers morgan proves that he is an absolute wankspanner. oh dear what a cunt he is.

  • @drevonthief I'm sure his athiest himself he's just giving question how most of the audience would appreciate in america.

  • he says he is good to people

he treats Karl Pilkington like shit

and Karl has said he treats other people like shit.

  • @getoffmanzpants What he doed to Karl, is no more than what two really good friends would do to each other, the difference being, they have money to really go that extra yard in winding him up. If I had a whole television company such as sky behind me, I too would put my best friend in the sea with sharks to watch him scream, coz it's funny. Get a sense of humor...

  • @anetchi u lose ur soul with technology it dehumanises u

  • @brama1969 give me proof its not real how do you have the authority to tell any1 there wrong? what have you seen that can back up ur claims?....exactly u dont know shit

  • @KOICrowz poitn where it says that in the bible

  • @DanBatess Point to where it says WHAT in the Bible? You need to be specific, seeing as I haven't commented on this video in like 2 months.

  • This guy sold his soul thats why he said theres no reward for him lol he knows.....wake up ppl the industry is faaawcked

  • The title should be Ricky Gervais on CNN: "Atheism: Why my disbelief shouldn't offend believers". There wasn't anything on jokes.

  • you guys dont get it, its english humur. its called banter. we take the piss out of each other, in particular our mates. were not making political statements or anything, we just make fun of each other for jokes. its called having a laugh. dont take yourselves too seriously!!!

  • I'm Muslim and here's my point of view.

All people will eventually will go to heaven. All people will pass by hell, to be wiped out of bad actions. However, some people go straight to heaven because Allah has forgiven them. Nobody is guaranteed to go straight to heaven though.

The universe was created in 6 days. Each day in God's time is worth a 1000 years of what we count.

All those things I mentioned are in the Qur'an

  • Thumbs up if "jesus" was the hispanic guy who sat behind you in math class who sold you pot.

  • Is there really a need to disprove each others beliefs?I'm a Catholic and I just wish both sides would just stop.As far as I know, most religions believe God to be the almighty judge and each individual will be held responsible for their own actions. So why would I give a flying fuck if someone wants to legalize gay marriage etc.All one can do is be the best they can be.Just to be clear,I believe all good people will be accepted by God no matter Christian Muslim,Buddha,Hindu,Jew,Atheist et al.

  • I love this man even more after hearing this...

  • that was beautiful.

  • In the history of man more people have died due to religion than can be counted. blood on your hands is fine if you have god on your side. And religion is still good???

  • @brandishednail What do you figure the numbers are in comparison to deaths directly attributable to an atheistic state? One wouldn't argue that the numbers begin to come close, but I'd take it a step further to say that the per capita numbers don't come close at all. Blood on your hands is fine if you're a self-righteous agent of the state.

  • There is no freedom outside of celibacy and cannabis Is That Miracle, the summation of the 1st 3 chps in Genesis. Cannabis Amnesty is the messiah Israel awaits....peace

  • A day in the "god" sense could very well be 1 million years or so to human beings, the essence of time and how it is understood and how it can be used comes with the experience you have with it, so a being who surpasses time who has been with it before we knew time to be time, would think of a day as we would think of a millisecond....oh and we don't think of milliseconds btw.

  • @Keldaj The problem with that argument is that is more of a guess than a theory,

  • I live 3 miles away from my parents. There are 8 churches and 1 synagogue between my house and their house. Most have a marquee that regularly remind me to love jesus, with a warning if I do not. As an atheist, this does not offend me the slightest bit. However, I have a feeling that if christians had to drive a 3 mile stretch bombarded with atheist slogans, there would be an enormous uproar about how offended they are. Theist hypocrisy and narcissism knows no bounds.

  • @badkarma52 The sentence "Theist hypocrisy and narcissism knows no bounds" indicates your you are indeed offended. As for a 3-mile stretch of atheistic slogans, why would one proselytize "nothing" ?

  • @adminwrh If you couldn't drive anywhere in your town without reading 'On the first day, man created god' or 'Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived' there would be a christian uproar, the likes of which we have not seen since the Inquisition. I see a sign that says 'Hell is real and Jesus is the path to righteousness', I simply smile and think to myself, 'Is this the same Jesus that urged slaves to serve their christian masters well?

  • @badkarma52

There's a simple reason for that reaction. Theists (or Christians, at least, as far as I know) preach because they want people to be saves, and have the same wonderful experiences they have. Atheists that preach their atheism preach it because they either think that theists are stupid, or because they want to be right, or both. Also, don't get me started on hypocrisy in atheism. Just don't.

  • @Draezeth If you couldn't even drive down the street without reading 'On the first day, man created god' or 'Do not pray in my school, and I will not think in your church' or 'Blind faith is an ironic gift to return to the creator of human intelligence' the christian outrage would at least make the news. I, like most atheist, DO NOT seek to be right, we only seek truth. Unfortunately for you, faith and truth are incompatible.

  • @badkarma52

I fail to see how your point counters mine.

And you don't preach your atheism, so it doesn't apply to you. Now I'm off to bed.

  • @badkarma52

I might also add that you are a hypocrite. "We only seek truth" implies that it is truth, and that theism is not, which implies that you are right, which apparently, you do not seek to bed. Think before you say something.

  • @Draezeth

    be*

  • @Draezeth If it's truth you seek in your bible, then it's you who should think before you speak.

  • @badkarma52

That statement is biased. You don't know that it isn't truth. But I know you won't admit any of your faults. That's what always happens. I'm done with this conversation.

  • @Draezeth And you're not biased in favor of your bible? Talk about hypocrisy.

  • @badkarma52

Ugh, me and my weakness for debates. Your argument here is irrelevant, and a change of subject. I'm pointing out the flaws in your debating skills, not debating, myself.

  • @badkarma52

And that's my final word. Don't bother replying, I won't read it.

  • @Draezeth Your refusal to read a reply will surely show what a great debater you are.

  • @badkarma52

For the sake of showing that Christians can actually debate, I will answer:

You haven't given me anything worth debating with. And besides, I've already got another debate going on, and I want to focus on it.

  • @Draezeth So you did read it. Since you have outed yourself as a liar, what assurances can you give me now that you'll tell the truth.

Give me just one demonstration for the justification of your belief.

  • @badkarma52

I've got dozens. I debated with atheists every day for a month and a half period a while ago. I'll give you a few examples.

  • @Draezeth if god exists, why are babies dying from preventable famine and disease? and if your answer has anything to do with us being sinners, please stop. you would be telling me that this ALMIGHTY god, who has created and sees and knows EVERYTHING that will happen in the future cannot predict that adam and eve would eat an apple..not only that, but that the fact that you can tolerate him being able to let even one child die like this when there are ways to stop it is unbearable.no thank you

  • @eyita3

*sigh* Okay, FINE! I'll debate! But not here, PM me if you want to debate.

  • @Draezeth honestly i'd rather not...usually i'm all for debating, but this topic is one that i've found strips people of their rational mind..so what is the point....i just wanted an answer to the question and i was gonna leave it..

  • @badkarma52 in response to what an atheists sent me:

Adam and Eve were free to begin with. What Satan gave them was the ability to question God. He gave them pride. God gave man everything that he asked for, and more. He wanted to make man happy, and all he asked for in return was that they love and revere him. He didn't even ask Adam to serve him!

  • @Draezeth Before you go down the road of biblical fallacy, I don't believe the bible. So you have to convince me of why I should believe the bible, before you can use it as justification. Beware of circular reasoning.

  • @badkarma52 Cont...

Satan didn't offer Jesus food, he told him to turn stones into bread himself. He was trying to gain Jesus for himself, and he failed.

The hardening of Pharaoh's heart served two purposes: He wanted to show the children of Israel that he could deliver them from any situation. It also serves a purpose today as symbolism. Pharaoh was a metaphorical picture of Satan, and Egypt is the world.

  • @Draezeth Unless you have given the Koran, The Principia Discordia, The Tabula Cortonensis, or ANY other ancient texts proper consideration, how can you convince yourself that the bible is the true word of god?

  • @badkarma52

UGH! I don't want a debate! Why do I keep getting myself into this? Okay, I'm seriously leaving.

  • @Draezeth Oh come on, give in to your desire to debate. You've offered parable as evidence, I'm asking for real evidence. The Koran says that it is the perfect word of the creator of the universe, why do you disagree with that? I mean, we both agree that the Koran is BS, but why?

  • @badkarma52

Looks like I've attracted a lot of attention here. PM me if you really want to debate.

  • @badkarma52 cont...

Did God flood the world according to the Bible? Yes. Did he do it without giving them a fair warning? No. The earth had a small population back then, and Noah would have been virtually world-renowned for his "craziness". Not one person wouldn't have had adequate warning before the flood. This is an almost exact picture of what Christians face today in the world.

  • @badkarma52 cont...

The Israelites dying in the wilderness is essentially the exact same point as before. The Israelites kept refusing to put their trust in God, despite all his signs, and so God let them die. He even gave them warnings through Moses as he did with Noah! It's the same story over and over.

I've got more, but I'll stop here.

  • @badkarma52 Atheists are the ones who are complaining about the US dollar bill and the Pledge of the Allegiance. As a Theist, I have no reason to be offended by an atheist.

  • @flameboy1236 Because the first amendment still means something to a lot of us. Especially me, as a libertarian atheist. Your right to free speech is every bit as important to me as my right to not have my government respect establishment of religion. Which one could easily argue 'In God We Trust' clearly represents.

  • @badkarma52 The Constitution applies to all of us, not just atheists.

  • @flameboy1236 That's a fact, and I never even suggested otherwise.

  • @flameboy1236 You know that it was only in the '50s that "under god" was added to the pledge right? it's fairly recent.

  • @EgoEssex Yes, I'm fully aware of that. But my intention was not to prove that America was based on Christian teachings.

  • @EgoEssex You know only 160 years ago evolution was dreamed up by darwin that thought the cell was a single organism, in other words the whole premise of his theory was based on something in reality he had no idea about. He has the right to believe what he wants, but to imply that the world was made in six day is rediculous, so much of the bible is based on symbolism, and for an athiest to pick and choose what they interpretate as a literal meaning to support their ideology is a gross missuse

  • @TheQuestionall Darwin had a theory based on empirical evidence. He saw some things in nature and formed a theory that has been tested and tested since. He's not implying that it was made in 6 days..that's what the bible said, and to say that it's a gross misuse for atheists to pick and choose what they interpret as literal is crazy considering that none of the churches or believers of the bible can even agree on the meaning and what is symbolic and what is literal.

  • @TheQuestionall The vast majority of organisms are single celled. I hope you are not trying to say that Darwin thought finches, dogs, cats etc were all single celled organisms, or a collection of many organisms. If you are saying this you clearly misunderstand The Origin of Species. He explains how organisms diversify and change. To claim that the religious have not taught the bible as literal truth for thousands of years is an outright lie.

  • @TheQuestionall I think you seriously misunderstand evolutionary theory...

  • @SerenityZero I dont misunderstand it, I'm just not closed minded enough to take a mans "theory" as fact, hence the word theory..... there is a difference between microevolution and macroevolution, to believe that evolution is the explanation for life, takes just as much faith as believing there is a God.

  • @SerenityZero I'm going to use a metaphorical example for you. Lets say you could take a modern car and put it back in 1850, the people could break it down and find every element in it, but to assume it formed that way simply by chance because all of those elements can be found in the earth would be a little rediculous, I think the more logical explantion based on its complex engineering, would be to assume it had an engineer.

  • @TheQuestionall Again, you entirely misunderstand the mechanics of evolution. Pick up a book.

  • @TheQuestionall if you put a car in 1850 in the middle of the jungle and someone finds it looks at it, looks at the jungle, he would see that it is NOT like the jungle it has been made by a designer BECAUSEitsNOT like something natural It is different from the jungle[thats not designed] you just made the case that designed things are observably different from non designed things. If the jungle was designed then he could tell that there was a differance the car would be like nature

  • @ahhninjadragon In the jungle? study history, the majority of people did not live in a jungle in 1850, I would argue if you put a car in the jungle they would not even know how to decipher the elements in it, and automatically assume it came from the Gods. I realize its kind of like religion of today, a muslim will not convince a christian his out look is the wrong one and vice versa, just as I will not convince people of the evolutionary religion that their out look is wrong.

  • @TheQuestionall The fact of the matter is, no one has all the answers, and to pretend we do is borderline insane. In darwins book he wrote around 1858 he wrote and understood that for evolution to be true, there would have to be millions of genetic mutations for the worse, for every one for the better, and followed that statement by saying if these mutations arent found within the next 100 yrs, my whole theory collapses on its head.

  • @TheQuestionall "millions of genetic mutations for the worse"there are, do you know how many deformities there are in nature, but mutations do not drive evolution, its adaptability and natural selection favorable traits are multiplied non favorable ones dont thats why 99% of animals are extined because of lack of favorable traits or adaptability . mutations may help or hinder but traits drive evolution your info is wrong and your understaning of evolution is of the mark.

  • @ahhninjadragon I think your understanding is off the mark.....it is scientifically proven that 99.9% of all mutations of a single strand of dna are always for the worse, and they only leave the .1% to back all sceintific theory that givin enough time anything is possible, and when they have proof that it could not be achieved in the givin amount of time they previously determined, they simply add more time to the equation

  • @TheQuestionall Mutations do not drive evolution.you need to understand that mutations are not where the change comes from it comes from favorable traits within a group evolution can go on without ever having a mutation thats is just a strawman.

it is NOT scientifically proven that 99.9% of all mutations are always for the worse give me a scientific source. If that were true bacteria could not exist.are own cells would die out by time we are 7 years old

  • @ahhninjadragon Mutations absolutely do drive evolution, and regeneration of cells can not be mistaken for evolution, as far as a source, your at your computer so you should be able to find it fairly easily. At this point we're going to have to agree to disagree, so I digress. I would like to commend you for atleast presenting your arguements in an intellectual way, instead of doing what most people do, which is to simply attack other peoples intelligence if they do not agree with them.

  • @TheQuestionall agree to disagree is fine with me as long as we both got something out of this Im happy...

  • @TheQuestionall if it was scientifically proven that 99.9% of all mutations of a single strand of dna are always for the worse. then god is a bad designer he made a flawed product 99.9% of DNA goes bad and only 0.1% has any good affect. It sound more like natural occurrence than grand design DNA is flawed so no grand design.

  • @TheQuestionall You say design is obvious in your metaphorical example then you imply its not obvious in mine as its in the jungle[does the location make a difference I said jungle to emphasise nature] please hold a consistent argument.

They would assume it came from the gods as it is different from nature as nature is not designed.the point is its different because its designed and stands out against nature because nature is not designed. It only proves my point.

  • @ahhninjadragon What is DNA, it is a complex blueprint in every living organism, even science confirms this, so to state that nature is not designed, is a contradiction to modern science.

  • @TheQuestionall DNA is molecules behave within the laws of nature you only need the laws of nature for life and you dont need a god.just because something is complex does not mean god did it it just means complexity grew over time like evolution says.if there was a god he would be very complex from the start, does that mean someone created him by your reasoning?

Science does NOT say nature had a designer it says that it doent need one because it works well without one.

  • @badkarma52 I'm a theist (agnostic Christian to be precise; no, it's not a contradiction), and even I'm offended by all the Christian propaganda we are bombarded by.

"Jesus loves me, this I know.

I don't need you to tell me so.

    Logic's wonders I will seek.

They make me strong; your case is weak."

  • @badkarma52 well said

  • the interviewer host guy is kind of a dick. Whatever ricky has beliefs

  • Ricky Gervais is the quintessential example of letting your own beliefs (or lackthereof) get the better of you. Have you people even SEEN The Invention of Lying? The movie starts off so GOOD and then it devolves into "HERP DERP, LETS SHOVE ATHEISM DOWN PEOPLE'S THROATS" for the next hour and a half. My God, what a way to ruin a movie. Ricky Gervais is officially no better than a Jehova's Witness at your doorstep, just at the other end of the spectrum.

  • @ZRO2Apophis He's not shoving atheism down people's throats. Ricky is acting very calm, cool, and collective. Why are you so easily offended?

  • @steviej321 You clearly haven't seen the movie then.

  • @ZRO2Apophis It was a movie that was not about atheism and you didn't have to see it. It didn't tell you to do or to believe in anything.

  • love this

  • Well we know which way he's headed when he steps on the elevator of death......... look out below
