I also want to through in my thanks!! I am taking PDE at Berkeley after taking pre-reqs at community college and am definitely finding gaps in my pre-req knowledge. Your lectures are greatly speeding my catch up phase, as well as clarifying PDE stuff (such as separation of variables) - mid-term Tuesday, so thanks a ton!!
just want to say thanks dr tisdell... i'm going to be spending a lot of time with your videos this winter break.... you rock man, this is awesome what you're doing. I know there a lot of people out there that really appreciate it also just don't comment. So thanks again
@MJsDisciple You're welcome. I've now uploaded a full course of lectures with accompanying notes and hopefully the combo works well together (so that viewers are not just passively watching my vids, rather they are using the notes too!)
BTW, I checked your basketball videos - you are good!!
@DrChrisTisdell That's awesome! Definitely going to put those notes to use... I normally just grab a notebook and take notes alongside your videos but that will be more beneficial I think. Thanks for checking out my vids too, haha. They are from my high school days... all my engineering/math classes take precedent over basketball now, so they are good memories :)
@zpcraft You're right. The reason is because the video is recorded at a variable framerate, while the audio is recorded at a fixed rate. This can make things very tricky when editing and is something that I have discussed with the document camera company. As a result I don't record in widescreen anymore.
My lecturer should just quit his job and let them run ur videos for our class instead .....
