Islamic calender does not count actual lunar orbits, it counts lunar peroids - lunar periods are also of fixed duration.
1000 years (hijri calender) is not 12000 lunar orbits, it is MORE than 12000 lunar orbits
No calender counts lunar orbits for years.. Did Allah use wrong terminology?

Why did you not take the distance the earth revolves around itself in that time, or how much earth moves in its own orbit?
Besides the orbit of the moon is INCONSTANT, Moon grows apart from Earth with time. So 12,000 lunar orbits starting from 2000 BC will be different from say.. starting from 100,000 BC
