813, 3440 'City of Truro', 4566, 5164, 5542, 5526, 5764, 7802 'Bradley Manor', 7812 'Erlestoke Manor', 9017 'Earl of Berekley', 42968, 45110 and 46443 as 46446.
You didn't see Oliver as she is a 14xx and 1420, 1442, 1450 or 4866 are featured. Percy is based on a very small 0-4-0ST, 1340 'Trojan' again this wasn't in the video.
As much as I like Thomas the tank and how it gets kids into trains (like myself), this is real life and they are real locomotives!
Well JBT your cinematography belies your years. The Charlford titch was a daily train that ran between Gloucester and Charlford. It comprised a GWR tank engine and one carriage.I'm an old guy in California but I used to ride that train as a boy.
So this is the late Indian summer you had up there, I will admit I liked the lighting between 7:52 and 9:03 as you had the light pink skys in the background.
Thank you. It was a great gala and I will defo go to next years all going well. I wanted to stay a few minutes latr to see 4566 & 5542 on a DH arrive and 42968 go out on the 'Limited' set
I went over the river severn on saturday. Across the huge bridge that seperates england from Wales. I went to mount Snowdon on a motor bike. It was awsome. I also went through Newport. Where you live. Very nice place to live.
very very nice video josh! loved the lineside shot of 9017 and 3440 on the gwr stock, looked lovely! 5526 was giving it some at about 03:00, 3440 looked nice on LNER teaks, shame 45110 has gone outa ticket, would have been a nice addition to the gala, 5* and a fav mate!
Very nice, brilliant vid for a brilliant gala, I just hate you now for gettin 7812 leaving Hampton Loade when I only got a pic, but then again I got the local leaving Hampton Loade, 3440 leaving Highley, 9017 leaving bridgnorth, 3440 & 9017 leaving Bewdley, 7802 leaving Arley, 813 leaving Bewdley, 5164 on ECS, the auto leaving Bewdley...so HA lol
really lovely peace of work, certainly alot of engines putting their pistons into it, good to see some of GWR's finest, and the occasional midlander
