decent music is it on amazon.com as well.....where did the name satan and adam come from is it because one is satan and becouse their break came from u2 who mention christ favorably
Absolutely brilliant.I've never tried the harp, how on earth can you play so magnificently, and for so long, and keep breathing normally? The mind boggles.
Personally, I like the inverted noir effect, dark interiors and a blazing sunny day outside. As usual you and Mr.Satan and simpatico; you highlight his vocals and guitar rhythms with slippery, serpentine riffs. I like the way you manipulate the root notes in their positions and use them as to additional percussive effect with Mr.Satan's inspired drive. You're a modern master, Adam.
My dear friend, this channel is a blues harmonica instructional channel. This means that I play things on the harmonica and then do my best to explain them in the clearest possible language, spicing up what I do with little inspirational asides designed to give developing players heart. If I didn't talk, I couldn't teach. (The word is "too," BTW, not "to.")
I'm sorry if my comment annoyed you, I can see how it might have sounded like a criticism, not at all, far be it from me! I definitely didn't mean it in a bad way! I just meant to express my wish to see y'alls' faces and movements as you jammed to further enjoy it, but the music is definitely entertainment enough! You guys are an inspiration to me, people like you are what music is really about.
No problem. And thanks for the kind words. We try to keep it real--which is a silly way of saying that we just plug in and play songs we like, and listen to each other.
Exactly!! That's what's so great about your music!! That's how music *should* be, at least to my thinking. listening to yourself, to others, being yourself through the music.
My wish is to become fluent enough in the language of music(namely blues harp) to be able to express myself with ease, enjoyment and coherence...when I see people like you it impulses me to not give up!!!
We first got together for a reunion gig in 2004. Last summer we played a few out of town gigs--NYC, Ocala Fla. But this past weekend we played four gigs and had a breakthrough. I'm posting more footage soon that will confirm this. Badass blues, once again. I never thought I'd say that, but there you go.
Ah, I see: blues for you needs to be shot on a $1000 high definition camera! Well guess what: this footage was. And it's STILL not good enough for you! I can tell that you're a true blues conoisseur. Of course, some blues fans find it possible to accept.....a few scratches on the record. I realize that this metaphor will date me, but that's OK. C-harp.
Hay Adam great sound! Have enjoyed all your posts. The camera thing is not a big deal at all, but just a FYI, all video cameras, even cheep ones have a manual setting for exposure. That quickly fixes these issues. Again, thanks for everything.
Sounds great! I was wondering about Mr. Satan's recovery as most of what I've heard about is just from the documentary trailer but he sounds as good as ever.
His guitar playing isn't what it was. That's simply a given. He was a bona fide monster; now he's just strumming. But his voice is still great, I'm playing call and response, and Dave and I are grooving. So the S&A sound is reborn.
Hey, this is great, I wish it weren't silhouetted...but thanks for sharing this! it's refreshing to see this kind of stuff... Btw, Adam, my dad was in NYC on the 4th of July...and he saw and spoke with some street blues harp players, he told me about it, and I thought of you! You wouldn't happen to know a guy named Sal, paired with another player, calls himself Full Moon Lightnin'? I know it's a long shot, but..well, I just thought I'd mention it to you!
Looks like a great time at a weekend house party. All that's missing in the video is the BBQ and guys in the window throwing horse shoes and drinking beers in the backyard. thanks for sharing. You and Mr. Satan sound great. Did you fellas add a drummer or is it a friend sitting in?

Personally, I don't care if you light the room with a stick match and shoot it with a cheap digital camera. Just keep playin'.

Nice. It's dark because the lighting was coming from behind, but it's not like you need the video to enjoy.
