  • Best thing to come out of Germany!

  • His description is beautifully written and in my opinion 100% correct. His dog is absolutely gorgeous and looks calm and happy. He's really smart and is a great dog daddy. I love seeing people who know how to care for their dogs. Yay!

  • @mjfromga89 Thanks for watching.

  • nice looking dog

  • My late father owned one and 'Max' was one of the finest dogs I've ever known. He was an 'only dog' with my father, so he developed almost a human personality (great sense of humor!). I adopted him after Dad passed away and raised Max for 4 more years, until he reached 12 and his health came apart. Great dog, I still miss him.

One last thing, my father NEVER corrected the dog with anything other than the word, 'No.' and raised finger. I think thats the best way for Rotties. They want to please.

  • @Sodnal Thanks for watching, I agree.

  • My little german runt isnt as dark as him, but I dont think the females ever are. Good looking dog!

  • that is a good looking rott

  • We have a german rotty. From a line call Von Heimer or something like that. he's freaking HUGE!! And is only a yr old. Eliah Samson Von Heimer(sp) is his registered name. He's a sweet cuddle bug who likes to think he's a lap puppy. He's cute super sharp too. If he's being pesty we say 'Find Daddy' and then he wiggles the stump he calls a tail and runs off sniffing my father out XD I love rotties.

  • amazing looking dog, absolutely beautiful.

  • Based on what I know as an Animal Control Officer & being a 4th Generation United States Marine Corps. Active duty veteran having spoken to 1 of my Grandfather's who was IN Germany in World War II (that was my mom's father, my dad's father fought in the Asian Theater as a Marine; both the Battle of Okinawa, Battle of Iwo Jima) but the one who was deployed to Germany actually SAW the ones that the Nazi's had & he said "They were real, real dark, the tails weren't docked like they are in the us)

  • They are so good looking especially the pure breed and the blacker face and coats are even better. Especially if they are large and have good exercise and diet plans . No doubt the most beautiful looking breed to have

  • i am looking to purchase a rottie from atlantahaus also, i love your dog, could you tell me who the dame and sir, was to him? i would appreciate it very much.

  • @2006GUNNER1 Sire: Raul Od Dragicevica & Dam: Gitta "Schwarz Rott. Garde".

I don't believe either of Randall's parents are still being bred by Atlantahuas, however they have even better bloodlines breeding there these days.

  • pure German bloodline ? what that it means ? because rottweiler is a breed spread all over the world . if we look back in Atlantahaus 's pedigrees we see champions from all european countrys , from belgium to serbia . so what this "pure German bloodline" means ? rottweiler is a german registered breed . a rott dog can be a pure breed or not . if a rott is pure breed , he have german blood in him . there is no other way . at least this is the way I see things .

  • @bulllea It basically means a more Youtube hits, meaning greater exposure of a positive example of a breed that is overwhelmingly portrayed negatively everywhere else. But if you read into it more, it basically means bloodlines that have been strictly preserved in the German tradition.

  • great post!!! thanks

  • Mate, I love the fact that your dog has darker colored orange markings. It looks so much better!!!

  • Nice rott :)Very strong and gentle dog :)

  • The most beautiful dog I do not like that color too dark, I prefer more traditional, all dogs when they get old darken like that?

  • @dgbs2011 i dont understand the dark color either. my rot is black as black with the real nice orange color standing out. my old rot (rip) never turned dark. stayed the same orange markings until 11 years old. seems this dog's lineage lost something along the way, but i'm a few credits shy of my dog degree, so what do i know.

  • @killermontclair There is no traditional color, the breed standard calls for markings to be a light rust color all the way to a dark mahogany. Really any shade of brown from light to very dark is accepted. Eye color is actually more closely monitored than the shade of the markings at confirmation shows. The color of the markings varies from different lineages. Randall is of Milsped and Dragicevica lineage which both traditionally throw dark mahogany high drive Rottweilers.

  • @hornbuckle56 alright then. i ain't afraid to learn. thanks for the info. i've looked alot into rotts in the way of training, diet and the way their muscular stature is but never really investigated into the color. well, like i said- i'm a few credits shy of my dog degree. very good. so fill me in about the eyes. sometimes my rott's eyes change colors- tell me they should be a little lighter shade of brown?

  • @killermontclair The color of the eyes should always be as dark as possible, with 1A the best (see ADRK EYE CHART). It is not so much a functionality reason, since the eyes can work either light or dark, but an all important type trait. As the eye color gets lighter it softens the appearance of the gaze.

  • @hornbuckle56 Was he dark to begin with or was it a gradual thing?

  • He's a dark beautiful example of the breed. Amazing posture. Clear eyes. And I bet his paws are as big as my head pmsl. Beautiful Rotty

  • My how beautiful is he. He's fierce but he's got a gentle expression, that's how it should be. Bravo sir.

  • i'm looking for one with that same dark color of brown instead of the typical light brown. cool dog.

  • @joethebeast70 They are out there, just make sure the parents have dark markings.

  • Absolutely Gorgeous! You are looking at a Stud

  • We have a rottweiler puppy called Blackie, almost 4 months old. He has all the colors and markings as pure bread rottweilers have according to AKC. However I am noticing that your dog's black and rust is blending in more than other rotties. Blackie's parents colors and markings were exactly like your dog's, which by the way it is really beautiful. I'd like to ask, why in some cases black dominates over rust. My main question is should I expect Blackie to get his parents colors as he gets older?

  • @nonserviam1077 Hey, thanks for watching. When Randall was a pup he had light brown almost tan markings. As Rottys get older, it has been my experience that their markings take on a darker shade of brown or a mahogany color. The best way to get an idea of what color markings that your pup will have is to look at Blackie's parents markings. More than likely he will look very similar to his parents and grandparents.

  • @hornbuckle56 That's what I thought as well. The light brown markings on his face are starting to look more dark as time passes. The friend that I got him from also told me I should expect him to look like his parents, which by the way both are really great characters. No trouble whatsoever.

Thanks a lot for your fast reply.

  • Wow, what a companion. Rotties are the finest breed; Beautiful, intelligent, fearless, and loyal to their family, Cherish that one.

  • beutiful !!!!!!!!!

  • What a beautiful piece of nature. I wish I had one like these to wander around in the forest with me.

  • BEAUTIFUL BEAST !!!!!

  • WOW! Couldn't have said it better myself hats off to you sir for educating the public on theses majestic creatures.

  • i have a pure german bloodline rotty. ive found the germans dont drool (as much) as their american counterparts

  • hes the best looking rotty iv ever seen mate youv got a realy nice dog there

  • @y0urbreath Thank you

  • he looks expensive o.o

  • nice

  • So gorgeous.

  • magnifique

  • AMAZING looking Rottweiler. And great info in the description to people who are curious about the breed. Great effort, great upload!

  • heres a question >:]!! can some one own a rottweiler if they have a 9-5 job... which wuld mean leaving the dog for a fair few hours, im only 16... iv never owned a dog, just thinking about when im older. just a question! i like rottweilers, but i need to have a job D: and i dont want it to feel abused or anything D: and give it anxiety or anger problems by leaving it.

  • @IcantTalk2noobs

I wouldnt recommend one for your first dog. Especially not if you can't spend time with it.

  • @IcantTalk2noobs I might would consider a different breed for your first dog. Preferably a large breed so that you can see what it costs to feed and care for a large breed dog. Get some good experience with a Labrador or a similar breed and maybe when your a little older get a Rotty.

  • @hornbuckle56 thnk you for ur reply :) i understand

  • i have a two year old bitch called shelby, pure germanic too and shes the loveliest little thing ever, take her out when i am running and she always walks right by my side in my opinion rotties are a superior breed with epic amounts of personality i would recommend these to anyone who has the time to care for one, i also recently had a baby and i was worried at first but she lays near the door and does not let anybody come near which is a big relief a truly valued member of my family

  • Nice dog!!

  • Wow...Look at that HEAD! Perfect rottie

  • great looking rott, i have a 2 yr old male that weighs between 140 and 150 lbs and is a very well mannered dog, its all how you raise them.

  • Your dog looks so badass, good shit man.

  • @Joseph4Lakers Looks can be deceiving, he's a laid back dude.

  • @hornbuckle56 Randall is beautiful looking dog, seems like he has got lovely nature too, lucky you! Enjoy, thanks for posting,

  • what a top dog, best dogs in the world!

  • Randall is beautifull , looks like a wise dog ( cuz it's owner - yea you ;-) - is also wise ) and i love his darkish colors .

  • awsome dog mate. My rottie in here in australia is slightly thinner cause he is only 18 months and I dont want all that excess baggage on his hips. I'll bulk him up when hes about three. Your dog is shorter and more boxier mine is taller but has a big head and really strong. A great dog. also he has his tail. illegal here in australia. do you have tics in usa ? they get on the dog and bury themselves into their skin and suck blood and lay eggs inside.

  • @suenathbyron Oh yeah, we have plenty of ticks here in Georgia. I have probably pulled 5 off of Randall. They always seem to get around his eyes.

  • That's a fierce looking dog. He looks in control though. I'm going to get a rottweiler and a doberman so they can hang out with each other and keep company. Nice vid. Good talk on temperament. Not sure why people are saying bad things.

  • I love Rottweilers. People don't give them enough credit. They are just full of love. He is so precious. Big teddy bears. :) You're so lucky to have him!

  • it's nice how dark his coloring is...

  • same colour as mine dosent have the bright tanned colour like most rotties do

  • Amazing dog.....one of the best ive ever seen...well done for raising such a beautiful, well trained dog

  • He Is Beautiful, His Coat almost looks Like Velvet.

  • nice , im in germany for a couple years. he looks just like the ones here, just to verify hes official, i live in atlanta, ima actually gring 2 shepherds and maybe 2 rotts back with me to start breeding when i come back in a couple years

  • How are they with kids

  • @ydeleon1 they are perfect with kids,. as long as you socialize them when they are puppies of course,. for example i have a 4 month rottie and i meet him all the time with children and he loves them a lot, so when he is grown up he wont be afraid aka aggresive to them

  • totally badass

  • awesome rotty

  • I love your Randall., I've had a few rotts and to me there is no other breed. I love all dogs but the rott is by far my preference. I am getting ready to get another and I have been really attracted to Atlanta Hause. I am so glad I heard you say that's where you got him. He's gorgeous and this has been so helpful to me. I think I am going to call them!!

  • german rotties all the way!

  • Rottweilers are the Best protective dog in the world!

  • beautyful rotty

  • My buddy while growing up in North Alabama had a nice one. He weighed 160lb and ran miles each day chasing us on our dirtbikes. He was awesome.I have had American Bulldogs my whole life, but I found that they do not possess the watchdog instict like I want. I am considerng a rottweiler.

  • Your Rottie has to be the best looking Rottie that I ever saw. His size and weight are perfect for his age. He doesn't look over or under feed and he is toned up perfect.(Not to much muscle and not to little).

  • Beautiful face.

  • paused at 0:08 and look at his face...cute to the max! awwwww!

  • Beautiful Dog ... and I am scared to death of Rottweilers

  • @ravencassidy Nothing to be afraid of if they are brought up correctly.

  • @hornbuckle56 true but there are plenty of bad owners out there that don't raise them and train them properly

  • My border collies best friend is a rottie, and they play much nicer together than other dogs at the dog park! Rotties are a very beautiful breed.

  • I believe there are no bad dogs, just bad owners and your dog is beautiful, I love how dark his face is and those eyes lol he could charm any one with that face

  • Oh my god, he's is something! And thank you for the good words on Rotties--I love it when people tell the real story about our breed. Ours is the best boy... well, he's a nut. But a sweetie. Randall, you are so handsome!

  • Beautiful dog mate, good colours and sounds like your a good owner....

  • Your rottie is beautifull and i mean it *nods* . I personally had 2 on my own and this one exactly looks the last one i had .

  • ADRK certified?

  • @hornbuckle56 sexy dog. how much?

  • He has such a handsome face! And takes treats so gentle. What a sweetheart!

  • I love the look in his eyes. He's begging for more cookies. He's beautiful, would love to have one just like him.

  • nice dog but I prefer Dobies.

  • awesome looking rottweiler

  • He's a beauty!

  • Im from North Florida.....GO GATORSS!!!

  • i would love to buy one of his offspring rotties are my fav dog

  • It seems like ur dog is really dark compared to other Rots ive seen. Is there a reason for that or is that just the way his parents were? By the way thanks for the advice, everything really helps

  • This is a beautiful dog!

  • Very good dog. We had German Rottweilers for generations. Very good breed indeed.

  • I am glad to see that you know what you are doing. The right weight, the correct socialization are key. You've done a fantastic job with Randall. IMO there is no better breed for me.

  • quit doing that your on tape...lmao good stuff...beautiful pup mate

  • love his big mouth

  • That really is a great looking rotty. his coat is something else. nice peaceful temperament. Good job training him.

  • ive got a rottie and 100 percent agree with wot you say best breed ever !!!

  • so precious

  • I have a Rottie and she has been a amazing dog she has been around kids and babies ever since she was a pup. He is right they are amazing family dogs very protective but shouldnt we all be protective of the ones we love? They do require a special owner that gives them much love and attention there not for people who do not have time for them.

  • beautiful dogs! i have one myself!

  • Handsome fellow!

  • You described how my Rottie is. Best breed in the world for sure !

  • Great dog dude, just like my 8 month old. Glad to see a video of someone talking about the true nature of these dogs. Loving your dogs markings the mahogany colour its just the best.

  • woaw beautiful

  • hello i have now a german sheppard male he is 9 years old ,but i whant to have a rothweiler ,is a roth good for children ?my sheppard is verry good for children and a good quardien ,sorry for my englisch sir.

  • @pascalwify These are an excellent breed with children. Since you have owned a Sheppard (another excellent breed in my opinion) you should have no problem with a Rottweiler. They need a firm fair hand and lots of love. Like a Sheppard they are a great family dogs.

  • is there something anying him on this nose or top lip or dose he just want a treat

  • he looks good! im likin the rotties more and more

  • @dabul2003 Thanks, bring them up right and you won't find a better breed out there.

  • omg ive never seen such a beautiful rott coat! Thats a great dog youve got there!

  • @badazzbrnskngirl Thanks, and thanks for watching.

  • He is absolutely gorgeous. Looks kind of like the Rottweiler we had when I was a kid, also German Bloodlines combined with English. Too bad it's hard to get a Rottweiler like that today!!! You be proud of that dog.

  • i would love to get one but i cant until iam 16

  • That is one hella beautiful rotty. Great coat, great temperament. You truly care for this dog well!!

  • GOOD! what a beautiful dog!

  • Awesome coat really nice...

  • very handsome dog! i miss my rotty but i'll be getting a new one sometime soon. can't replace Bella though. :) no dog will ever be able to take her place in my heart. anyways amazing dog. very sweet.

  • i love rottweilers i even own one and they are the best well behaved dog we had

  • Randall is beautiful . Your boy has allot of black on his face. I agree 100% with what you are saying about how you raise them I have a two year old Rottweiler my boy is very well taken care of. You are a good owner and it shows with how Randall acts. God bless you and Randall I hope he lives a long happy & healthy life.

  • Man, he is beautiful!

  • Rottweiler breeds usually dont have full tail.. Thats their traditional breed. Thats what they are. I have seen almost all of Rotts have without it. FYI< planning to get 8 weeks old purebreed Rotty.

  • He's like gimme another treat i know ya wanna

  • gorgeous dark markings. rottweilers are by far by the the breed of dogs

  • @t130aoj I have to disagree. German Shepherds are the best breed of dogs. Loyal, sweet, affectionate, and amazing at guarding.

  • Hey Matt!!! We are soooo happy to see that Randall is doing so well!! You have done a great job raising him, and we are so happy to see him thriving in your environment!! It's people and homes like yours that make us proud to have placed dogs into the best possible environment!! Keep up the good work, and give Randall a big hug from all of us here at Atlantahaus Rottweilers!!! Take care, Matt!!!!

  • well done on your dog. I have a male rottweiler bought from a champion Australian breeder. the father is imported from portugal and the mother is bred from australian blood lines here in australia. good to hear you kept your boy lean and trim whilst he was growing. too many ppl over feed them thinking they are doing the right thing. you are a credit to the ultimate breed. the Rottweiler. ps I like the way you hate the opposition. I hope you win the comp.

  • Kinda little for a male - is it a pup?

  • @winrx Actually he is in the ideal weight range of a well trimmed adult male Rottweiler. Far to many people overfeed and breed the Rottweiler in an attempt to create a 200lbs dog. Ideal competition weight range of an adult male Rottweiler is 110lbs, 90lbs for an adult female Rottweiler. My largest male was 127lbs and my largest female was 105lbs after a series of litters.

  • Looking to get me a Rottweiler and was watching your video because I am at home looking at the Florida Georgia game while watching your video (Georgia up 24 to 20 with 5 mins left)

  • this dog is a movie star, i would take my family to watch a movie starring Randall.

  • beautiful, BIG! but beautiful

  • Im thinking about getting a rot. how much would a rot like that cost if you were to get a male from the pick of the littler?

  • @snowstaffordsnow $1000 in australia if its from the kennel like this guy

  • @snowstaffordsnow Depending on bloodlines, awards and location you can expect to pay many thousands of dollars. Routinely top blood will sell for $4000 to $6000. Educate yourself thoroughly about this breed. You should be armed with a series of questions for your breeder as well, such as shots, meet sire and bitch, dysplasia results (OFA), how old the female was when breeding. These kinds of questions may reveal if the breeder has followed breed standards and can be indicative of value.

  • @ranseed1 Couldn't have said it any better myself.

  • how much did u pay for him?

very good looking rott. my last two have been nothing like this

  • I LOVE RANDALL!!!!

  • Nice coat , what do you feed him?

  • @mightylew1 Eukanuba Rottweiler Formula

  • I couldn't have said it any better. Rotties are loyal and will always love you back!!

  • Hes one stunning looking dog :) Love hes eyes :3

  • Beautiful dog, except for the tail...I want a tail on my dogs, since they're just not natural without them.

I am lucky enough to live near Germany, and when I get the next rottie it'll be from German bloodlines but WITH a tail.

  • @Bastarden I guess the guy would have to put his rottweiler in the trash now because YOU say it's not natural (even though people have been doing it almost since the breed existed). I guess It's not a REAL German rott so it's not worth being loved or called a rottweiler. Poor thing is without the main thing (in your opinion) that makes him a real dog. He should be put to sleep now.

Idiot. So fucking what he lacks a tail? Don't act like a rottweiler with a tail has more worth then without.

  • 2:02 lol u gotta funny dogs

  • my god how gently he takes that food from you, gorgeous dog

  • Handsome dog
