There should be a crazy storyline for this, like the original Sephiroth (the good one) goes through a cloning program. Then he goes on vacation. Meanwhile, the clone Sephiroth raises hell on the world, (just like in FF7) then the good Sephiroth returns, and kills evil Sephiroth!

It's not possible...without cheating

If you're playing PC version, there's a system called gameshark which I am not familiar of. The limit of Hp-9999 Mp-999, however you CAN change the mp to 9999 without cheating-use the MP-HP stone which basically swaps your MP and HP

The damage limit was always 9999

its becose that cloud normally hit the enemy like 10 times but with the sephiroth style, sephiroth first use the first attack of cloud to make a nice pose and then begins to attack while cloud alrdy has attacked 2 times and the system has count 2 times the dmg

Sephiroth cannot deal more than your current HP -1 in this sequence, and he has less than a full 1 hp (he has 0, but it is technically understood by the game as 1). So even if you did 0 damage counterattack, he dies. This is due to a very complicated piece of code Square wrote JUST so that you couldn't lose.

Err... The bad one is a clone. The REAL Sephiroth WAS good, but he went insane and killed himself thus Hojo made clones because of the fact there is no "HERO" anymore.

No, Sephiroth was the daughter of Lucrecia and Dr. Hojo. Hojo used him as an experiment and mixed cells from the monster Jenova, thus the reason for Sephiroth being incredibly strong. He was a "hero" because he did what he was told and kicked ass for Shinra. After he found out about his creation he became incredibly cynical, etc. Don't tell people what happened if you didn't pay attention..

well,using just simple cheatslike inf hp,have all items or stuff like that isnt interesting.there are much fun codes like play as sephiroth.modify which shop you are in,limit modifier and so on.the most ppl think about this boring stuff when it comes to cheating,but there is much more than that :)

well,i hack from time to time ff7 for years already.its my favorite game to hack,so me and the rest of the community has quite a collection.i am more for making codes for the pc version.there are already plenty for the psx.but new codes,i port them for the psx.
