Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale - Beer Review

I prefer for my beer to taste like beer, not bourbon. If I wanted bourbon, I'd drink a glass of bourbon.

@ridgewayn2 It's definitely not for everyone. I had this beer again recently and really enjoyed, but it was nothing like I remembered it. Much sweeter than I remembered.

@pyroman675 Bourbon barrels are used for a variety of things after they are done aging bourbon, many are sent to Scotland for aging Scotch, many go to the Carribean for aging rum.

I've see this one at Total Wine, but like what Joby said...I thought of it as more of a novelty beer, but what I'm hearing from you guys...I may give it a shot
