Seems on Hexus Net, Shows IVy Bridge Benchmarks Catching up to that LLano Chips in 3D Mark Vantage at 3,967 to 4,261 clocked at 1.15 GHZ which nice clock speeds! Might Have to get a 7770 Clocked at 1GHZ on those Vishera FX's to Compare GHZ to GHZ! AMD might be trying to do the Lower Clockspeed & Metal working almost X2 compared to Intel, Same thing as Nvidia vs. AMD!
@linuxpowerification you do know the gpu is inside the cpu and taking that into considerating coming to think of it. that's pretty impressive. the reason why the ivy bridge gpu is interesting is that now you can have descent graphics without having your battery life eaten by both a huge gpu and a cpu. instead now its 22nm incorporated harmoniously
they only use this demo because they worked the best they could the driver for the demo to show this, but the truth is,intel in gpus are a piece of shit, and with the game itself or any other game the card would lag like hell or not even run.even the demo has all options disabled.
Utterly unimpressive. One car, a fairly simple track, modest resolution. Grand Prix Legends looked better playing on a Voodoo5 - 10 years ago. I don't see any killer DX11 effects. Enabling the DX11 render mode doesn't mean the game is actually using any DX11 features. As a demo, this fails hard.
And none of this makes up for the awkward, stupid BS Mooly-boy tried to foist off on the crowd. How many hundred K$ per year does Intel pay that sleazy, mealy-mouthed tool?
Why does everyone assume this is a fake? It's not like we can see the settings and 1366x768 isn't exactly tough on the GPU. From what I can tell this is basically competitive with AMD's Llano APU, which is pretty nice although Trinity will still beat it.
And "Modern" doesn't mean that there aren't different markets. "Modern" notebooks aren't marketed towards only the professional and enthusiast market.
@Capeau Hating a company is like hating a wall... its fucking stupid and youre only going to hurt your self in the end... just buy what suits you the best manufacturer doesnt matter. well except apple and their patent wars.
@ps31871 Actually, the a8 won't perform that well unless it's paired with a discrete solution, I know this because I personally own an A8-3500m and it's 6620g is on as powerful as a 320m equivalent from Nvidia. This video is very impressive, that kind of performance was unheard of in a netbook a year ago, I owned one of the most powerful netbooks at that time and it never even came close to this.
@mrfiux Is it for gaming? If so it's not really a big advantage since you'll be using a discrete video card anyway. The processors right now are already way faster than any game needs. Couldn't hurt to wait though since they are a few months away.
@Ceriam Where at? he goes to the desktop and you can clearly see that it isn't VLC open. He's scrolling through the menus.. The stills he takes are on anandtech...
First! And btw I thought Ivy Bridge was still under development, how the hell did you manage to your hands on one? Was Intel nice enough to make a pre-demo for ya or something like that? I thought Ivy Bridge comes out next year, dno....

So, how much money did Intel paid Anandtech to try their best to run this demo on the ivy bridge?
I mean.. to have your most paid review site to save your face.. must require lots of money

I bet there's a GeForce or a Radeon inside somewhere and hidden from Sys. Need to check with driver sweeper.
Ask for a copy of the HD4K driver use to play this game, when IB launches, test it again.

Full HD = 1920x1080px i though everyone knew that..
So, what else is there besides professional and enthousiast users??
Clearly they are showing a game running on it, so they are targetting gamers with this presentation.
I think you rly dont know what yr talking about.
