Respect for Portugal. Have to give props for an amateur team to compete on the world stage. Really appreciate the pride and passion that they play with. Those are the greatest assets of all the great nations. Im sure over time when they get a good healthy structure in place over there that they will become even more dangerous. Wouldnt hurt send some of there boys to NZ for a go at ITM cup level. They really need exposure to a healthy culture.

Man, I practice handall and I love rugby! Just see those two national teams and compare them to the football national team! We can see the diference just by listening them to sing the national anthem! Rugby and handball players would die for a win on field! Football players would do what they do best: FALL AND FAKE INJURYS! I'm proud of being portuguese, but not because of the national soccer team!

I played rugby a few months and unfortunatly I had to stop. I loved what envolves it. I couldn't see such passion in other sports. I will come back to rugby and live those feelings that we have in game. I would love to play for the national team, it's something bigger and I am certain the it will change me, because like many others, I can go furious for the country even if I break something.

not the Portuguese rugby team. most of them have ordinary works like working construction, even farmers, they aren't the most amazing team but they were the first amateur team making too the world cup and when they play they do it for the love to their country not like the Portuguese Soccer team that does it for the money... I'm more proud to be Portuguese because of the Portuguese Rugby team than because of that selfish guy Cristiano Ronaldo.

Please, if you just listen to what Jerry Collins said in the video you wouldn't attack the Portuguese Rugby Union team, they play with passion and heart just as NZ players do! Rugby Union has much bigger exposure and funding in NZ so clearly there national team is going to be superior. I have Portuguese background but you don't see me gloating about Portugal's national football (soccer) team and attacking NZ national football team.

I was so happy just when we made the World Cup it was like a dream. The All Blacks are one of the best teams now, and in all of history, and to hear Jerry Collins, one of my favorite players, talking about Portugal like that, respecting us as opposition, recognizing how hard we tried to get here...I thought I was dreaming! Maybe we will meet again in 2011 in New Zealand and by then we will give a real challenge!
