@SuperSkarmDG Cape Verde has cold storage and freezing facilities and fish processing plants in Mindelo, Praia, and on Sal. Expatriate Cape Verdeans contribute an amount estimated at about 20% of GDP to the domestic economy through remittances.
@SuperSkarmDG The economy of Cape Verde is service-oriented, with commerce, transport, and public services accounting for more than 70% of GDP.Although nearly 38% of the population lives in rural areas, agriculture and fishing contribute only about 9% of GDP. Light manufacturing accounts for most of the remainder. Fish and shellfish are plentiful, and small quantities are exported. Fish and shellfish are plentiful, and small quantities are exported.
but why in church there is to much gold?? i need to learn about this world what is the poblem, cause i am very sad for poor ppl.. if i have many money, belive me, no more poor ppl in this world..
@Kuner1 African Americans have a different attitude because they work hard. They stay loyal to their country. African Americans are willing to die for United States, before they even think about Africa because they are loyal to their country. Whereas we Africans are so much into civil wars, blame game, lack of vision, lack of organizing and we're making a fool of ourselves to the world. We are allowing ourselves to be disrespected. The only Black African countries that are making...
@bnbalenda I agree w some, but I also disagree w other things u mentioned. 1st of, to this very day many african-americans still believe that their enslaved ancestors were abducted by europeans in the jungles of africa w nets n traps. meaning black americans stil hve slve mentality today bcuz they can't accept that their ancestors were not abducted by europeans. so that attitude still exist in their mind that even today they r lowest in american society but its actualy native american indians
@noypipi The fact is that they have been enslaved by the Europeans, that's true but African Americans are more loyal to United States than us being loyal to our countries. We have this utopia call the Panafricanism, come on, we don't understabd that it does not work. We've got to focus on our national identities first, then the Panafricanism crap will come later. Which African country has joined the OECD? None.
@bnbalenda Seychelles and Mauritius are paradises. Botswana might seem like paradise, however there are still many diseases there, despite this, Botswana has shown great improvement, and Cape Verde though one of the poorest countries in the world, will eventually rise to be the most peaceful country in Africa, and political stability will help it get developed.
@Kuner1 We deserve your criticism, thanks for your comment. We fucking deserve your criticism because we're not doing anything for ourselves, but wait for something to happen. It's a shame. I am Black and I cannot stand they way African countries are today. I take your criticism into account. Mugabe has done nothing, rather wasting his energy on blaming Whites for everything that's going wrong in Zimbabwe, instead of encouraging all Zimbabweans to take responsibility for their country.
It saddens me to no end to read a comment like yours, to know that there are a decent men left down there suffering under the rule of dictators like mugabe and the idiocy of those who believe his lies. I truly feel sorry for you and wish there was some way of helping you.
I hope your people wake up one day. But don't waste your life away waiting for them to do so. Leave, go elsewhere (US, Canada), where people prosper, and make the best of your life!
@Kuner1 I understand your concerns, in fact I'm no longer living in Africa. I am a French-born person who has roots in the Republic of the Congo, but I live in Denmark. The problem is not just Zimbabwe, but most of Black and Arab African countries are not making enough progress because we want to play the victim all the time and blame our former colonial powers for our problems. Yes, we went through injustices those time, but today it is our leaders who are abusing their own peoples.
@Kuner1 They're doing it for power because they can't think beyond their noses. In North Africa, the Muslim Brotherhood is on the verge to rule and pass the Sharia Law,the same in some Muslim Sub-Saharan African countries. Corruption is on high, unemployment is between 20-98% in average. In Zimbabwe, unemployment is 98%, whereas in countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo, it is around 80 %. I will give you the list of unemployment in these countries.
@Kuner1 Unemployment in African countries: Egypt 9 %, Kenya 40 %, Senegal 48 % Gabon 21 %, Congo 52 %, Cameroon 30 %, Ivory Coast 12 %, Democratic Republic of Congo 80 %, South Africa 25 % etc. Unemployment is too high on the continent because we have lots of incompetent leaders. I've said to my fellow African Black men/women that we are our own worse enemy because we make ourselves look like losers. I have no hope for Africa. It's better just to make the most of life and live it.
@bnbalenda having no hope for africa simply isn't the right attitude.. often nationalism is fueld by competitiveness. when this corruption spread out of control among this african countries they loose things to be proud of like modern industries n infrastructure.. loosing competitiveness also drags down w it is nationalism n ones love for his/her country. nothing is stopping other gov. official frm joining the corrupt club of officials. n the common people not caring bcuz of lack of nationalism
@noypipi Look at countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Qatar, Iceland, Ireland, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United States etc. These were also colonies, they don't spend the rest of their bloody days blaming their former colonial powers for their problems like African countries do. These countries make choices to pogress, whereas African countries choose to go backward. We have no one to blame, but ourselves and it is time to take a hard look at ourselves.
@SuperSkarmDG No, he is a totally White person, he is from England. His name is David Beckham, he is one of the best soccer players in the world. He was trying to help people from Sierra Leone.
@bnbalenda Oh I know about Beckham, and yeah it's great he's trying to help. Have you watched Blood Diamonds? It's sad to hear that Sierra Leone, and DRC, two very rich resource countries are so poor. With a good government, you never know what'll happen to those country, it'll be rich, peaceful, etc.
@SuperSkarmDG I have watched Blood Diamond many times, I have also read, learned about the civil wars in Sierra Leone and the DRC, and I want to add that Al Qaeda and other Islamic groups were also involved in the war, so that they could use diamond revenues for their Islamic projects. It is up to Africans and the leaders to change their way of thinking. It begins with a change of mentality.
@SuperSkarmDG? Do u really believe in those self made up statistics 2 fool u??? Hang on a minute and watch this title on our favorite Youtube University: The Africa they never show on TV and take it easy.
Nobody is DUMB enough to use nuclear weapons aggressively, knowing they doom completely innocent people to suffering and radioactive fallout. Not to mention the opinion of the rest of the world would take a nosedive for whoever used it first.
Want to nuke a dangerous country? Nuke the USA then, there's not a more dangerous country in the world.
I really hope you're just a troll, but youtube is full of idiots so how can one know?
Democracy in Africa has not been historically successful, almost always supplanted by centralized authoritarian rule such as military dictatorships. Although some rulers worked to improve the lot of their nation's citizens, others used power purely for their own benefit. Among the most notorious was Mobuto Sese Seko of Zaire, whose regime has been called a kleptocracy due to its looting of the nation's wealth.
@nicolesuzanne1 There's no only Zimbawe. In Europe we have very poor zones too like the 50 % of Italy, a little part of East Germany, Greece...we all need help. I still don't understand why MJ wrote WE ARE THE WORLD only for Africa. Ok Africa has a lot of coutries living in poverty. But people dies of hunger in the whole world.
@ILSignorAntonio Africa is by far the world's poorest inhabited continent. Though parts of the continent have made significant gains over the last few years, of the 175 countries reviewed in the United Nations' Human Development Report 2003, 25 African nations ranked lowest amongst the nations of the world. This is partly due to its turbulent history. The decolonization of Africa was fraught with instability aggravated by cold war conflict. Since the mid-20th century.
@bnbalenda I never said that Africa is a very rich and developed continent, i had just said instead that in the whole world there's poverty. Why does an african child must be helped more than an italian or greek one ? I know that an african child dies before he's 10yr by any kind of diseases. But this mustn't make forget about other people who suffers..
@ILSignorAntonio I agree, it is because we Africans give an impression to the world that we're the only ones who are suffering and instead of taking responsibility, we wait for anyone else to clean our acts. There are people around the world who are probably suffering more than, I have never seen any African government help other poor countries. Don't get me wrong, I agree with most the thing you're saying. We allow ourselves to wallow in self pity and we want to feel sorry for ourselves.
@ILSignorAntonio The Cold War and increased corruption and despotism have also contributed to Africa's poor economy. Most of Africans live of less then 1 dollar a day. Most of African countries are poor. The only rich African countries are: South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Mauritius, Seychelles, Botswana, Libya, Equatorial Guinea and Kenya.
@bnbalenda Most of them are dangerous and still corrupt though. Also many of them have below average living standards. The only ones that aren't corrupt, or dangerous is Botswana, Mauritius, and Seychelles, while they along with Libya has high living standards.
@SuperSkarmDG Libya is rich now, but it will be poor because they have some silly leaders who introduce Sharia Low. Islam contributes to poverty in Muslim countries, as well as corruption. But I agree with you that Botswana and Mauritius and Seychelles aren't corrupt.
@victorfergn aid isnt lending, China lends Money expecting it to be returned the US gives aid knowing that we will most likely never see that money again
@hectela the US does donate a lot to African countries. The problem is that it is either taken by a rouge military faction in the region or the government takes the food and supplies from the people and uses the money we give them for themselves and doesn't help the people. The same can be said to aid given to some Middle Eastern nations as well. Finally the Europeans squandered the money we gave them. Some did good with it but some misuse it (see Greece) There is more but i dont have the space
USA lend money, doesn't donate (BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and many companies that make donations (only to pay less taxes) usually send just crap that can't be used.
For your info, the EU gives MORE to foreign aid than the USA does. Google it and look it up wherever you want. The total GDP of the EU countries is also higher than both the USA and China. "Squandered it?"
Are you trying to convince me that the Marshal plan of the late 1940's is the ONLY reason there's money in Europe?
There's more, you're a complete idiot who lacks even the most basic insight into the economy of the world.
Africa calls for freedom...Africa can become 1 of the most well-being continent with proper direct democracy, responsible leaders, renewable energy and a will of steel...
@djparnate I understand that this video can be annoying, but the African politicians have themselves to blame for their failure to lead these countries to more prosperous nations.
@mrpaulmarquez1 Your sense of humour is weird. Europe was poor when, the Arab world was superior in every way. Would they be laughing at Europe when we were living in mud-huts?
@aSH0GUN um, idk, didnt live back then....anyways, if you lived near people that i live near (uneducated, irrespectful, idiotic africans) u would probably feel the same way....they try to make me feel like im less than them cause im white and i dont listen to their shitty rap, they say they're smarter and are much better than any white..in my opinion, they can leave to africa and take their saggin and their rap with them and make a powerful country since they're "SOOO" smart
@mrpaulmarquez1 Why do you have to generalise black people? Not everyone is the same, I find it ironic that you call them idiotic since you're being a massive idiot right now.
Hello I admit Zimbabwe is the most poorest country in the world.
I used to live there 3 years ago and that man at 2:38 is Ben freeth i went to school with one of his sons josh and i left before the country went really bad.
@DmIxProductionZ So now, you want to blame the British for Zimbabwe's current situation. Give me a break! Wasn't it Mugabe who decided to will Caucasian farmers who were contributing to the well-being of the Zimbabwean economy? He gave it to Blacks from Zimbabwe, what have they done? Oh...yeah! Trust the Chinese, but again why hasn't Mugabe educated Black Zimbabweans on farming? He spent his time blame both Caucasians from Zimbabwe and abroad, instead of taking responsibility.
@bnbalenda No it is true since Zimbabwe belonged to the British empire, the British token Ian Smith out of office and put Mugabe in. The British also gave them independence in 1980 and my granddad fought for Rhodesia. The British thought Mugabe can lead this country to great success but in 1992 his wife sally Mugabe died and then that was when it all went bad and in 2007 my family got taken off our farm by war vets and then moved to England in 2008.
@rb7magnetico Poverty is everywhere, not just in Sub-Saharan Africa. However, I am against the idea of countries uniting as one because the identities of those countries will not be respected and the next generation will pay. Look at the EU, it is not poor, but the idea of a Continental union has destroyed the will of the people. Nations are losing their independences, while we're all paying the price because we want our world to be one country. How sad.
@bnbalenda Look at the BRIC Union, a bloc of nations that broke away from the US and Euro standards that are now the fastest and most productive nations.Look at Russia pre and post BRIC, great example. Many nations are poor but not on a level of sub-saharan nations where progress has to be influenced by the UN.That region of the world is reliant on foriegn aid if not they would wipe themselves out.Rwanada is an example.
@rb7magnetico The BRIC nations are not poor countries. The BRIC Union does not tell Brazil, Russia, India and China how to behave. Brazil is Brazil, China is China, Russia is Russia and India is still India. The EU wants to create a super state. It wants to put an end to the existence of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Britain, Denmark, Sweden etc. African leaders are to blame for the failure to lift up their countries. I'm telling you that the problem with us us that...
@rb7magnetico we blame all our problems to our former colonial powers, instead of taking responsibility. The BRIC countries are taking responsibilities for their problems, while the African Union and the African population are making to many excuses. It makes me sick! Look at what Mugabe is doing in Zimbabwe, look at what Jacob Zuma is doing in South Africa, the same with Julius Malema. It is absolutely crazy, believe me.
@bnbalenda I do believe you, it what I dont understand about southern aafrican nations. How can a country like Switzerland that is over 80% mountain with barely any resources be richer than Congo, who has more than abundant resources on the level of India or Brazil.Look at SIngapore a city nation.Africa needs to reform and let go of the past
@rb7magnetico It is because African leaders are negligent. They take all the wealth of their countries to both themselves and mercenaries from both the Western World and beyond, so that they can stay in power, while their own populations are suffering. Some of us are still practicing the silly religion called Voodoo, instead of looking forward to a great future. Corruption is high beyond what you can imagine, diseases of all sorts and 1/3 of the medicine we receive are deadly.
@rb7magnetico Religious, tribal and racial conflicts are what we put our energy on, instead of doing something fruitful. We talk about ourselves designing pyramids and some other things with other kinds of Egyptians, but we fail to keep those talents and focus on things that are destructive. Yes, there are mercenaries from former colonial powers who may still support dictators who are running different countries, but we cannot make excuses anymore because we're the only that experience their...
@rb7magnetico presence.Look at Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and so on, they also had mercenaries coming there and doing stupid things, but it did not stop them from climbing the ladder and build things up.
@rb7magnetico Africa will let go of its past, when we will make a choice to change our perception and stop thinking that someone else will clean our mess.
@bnbalenda To use the term Africa is too vague. Some parts of Africa need to let go of archaic psychology. The abundance of africa is endless but they need better self realization to progress.
@rb7magnetico Some countries have already done it: Seychelles, Botswana, Mauritius, Cape Verde, South Africa and Namibia. Egypt could of been one of the richest countries in the world, if it wasn't for Islam, the same with Nigeria. Corruption is also part of the problem.
@bnbalenda Corruption will be in any nation regardless of stature but there has to be a common goal like the BRICS nations.BrICS has corruption but it is far from when they used to be IMF dependent.Nations like Congo,Ghana and Nigeria should be atleast in a Chile,Mexico or India level.South Africa did the smartest thing by joining Bric. That right there is evolutionary thinking and shedding a past of dismay.
@rb7magnetico That's true, but countries like Norway, Denmark, Botswana, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Iceland , Canada and Switzerland are very good at fighting corruption, they get high scores for doing that, I wish Congo, Nigeria and other African countries could learn from those. Chile will soon be a developed country, so will Malaysia . Without Islam, Egypt would be richer than any Eastern European country because they can do much better things, but again...
@bnbalenda chile isnt 3rd world anymore it is a very developed nation and is the most recent graduate of the 3rd world status. Religion always causes trouble and it must seperate itself from state. I think South Africa will be they for the development of countries like COngo,Ghana,Nigeria etc....
@rb7magnetico Chile is very much a developed country, and I agree that religion must separate itself from the state, but in Islamic countries it is not like that because Islam is also a political system. South Africa has its own problems to deal with, it is up to Congo, Ghana and Nigeria to fix their own problems. I have even made a new video about 25 of the world's most corrupt countries. If you want to comment there as well, you more than welcome.
@rb7magnetico No, I'm against it. Each country must have the right to self determination. Within some of those countries, there are/have been civil wars. Each one of those countries has different cultures, customs, religion etc. It's not a solution at all.
@bnbalenda There are civil wars, famine, genocide, lack of education, medical attendance etc...they are beyond 3rd world. Its not about gentrifying a culture its about creating a common sense to prevent and keep from sustaining the same stagnant ideals.China is a nation of 100's of cultures but they have been unified for 1000's of years.Same with many other nations.Haiti,Somalia,Ethiopia etc...repeat the same problems of low education, famine, disease, life expectancy etc.
@rb7magnetico The international community has to boycott countries that do not respect human rights and abuse their peoples. In order this to end, education is the key, human rights, secularism and progress are the key. Attitudes need to change as well.
@bnbalenda thats right,,,community=union.Thats what those feral nations need to prevent another Rwandan mass suicide, civil wars and all the aspects of slavery that still occur. Those nations need to unite to defeat or reduce their challenges. The psychology of a nation alone or unified has to change to be proactive instead of being reactive and remain in a victimized stagnant state. They need a balance in order to progress.
but there is thing like Afghanistan from 30 years in war's situwation and Somalia have no Gov from more than 15 years, so I think these countries should not consider in the list because they have some spacial causes.
So many emotions none are good...i can hardly speak..but I can feel...what is wrong with the other countries why don't we all help? I do all that I can to fight hunger, African people have lived through Political turmoil, extreme vilence, and grinding poverty will tell you this is the worst experience in their lives...I am very sad!
@MsKarenMarie1 I don't know where you're from, but believe me, there are lots of Western countries and organization that are helping: China is also helping, but the problem is that African politicians and the African societies aren't pulling themselves together enough. The problem with Africa is that we spend all our energy blaming former colonial powers like: England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Scotland, Wales, Portugal etc for our problems and that's wrong!
@MrAlleczu Yes, Africa has lots of raw materials and commodities like gold, silver, diamonds, copper, platinum, zinc, uranium, you name it. In this area it is rich, but it is still the poorest continent in the world because the majority of Africans living on the continent live of less than $ 1,75 a day, that's not rich in this area. Africa is rich when it comes to relationships, collectivism, us instead of me. In the West, it's all about me, me. Whereas in Africa it's collective.
England and russia should be on this list, london has more homeless people and no jobs, Russia has homeless people all over, They should both be on here
Over 70% of americans are either rich or middle class, The U.S is actually the richest country on the planet according to every government funded website.
Most of these countries listed are poor because of the poor management of European countries during imperialism. Their incompetence led to many civil wars and the bringing about of dictators.
where the hell did u get yr statistics frm?! zimbabwe is better off than most of the countries mentioned, zimbabwe is not at war like the drc and somalia!!!!!! go back and do yr research!!!
why would you think that were all excited to hear which country is the poorest , its sad knowing people around dont have what you have , be respectful.
I sometimes wonder and think to myself, the United States has a lot of money... why can't the president donate a quarter of that money to the countries in Africa and some in Asia. If we do that there will be peace. There won't be separated families to go to war, children will be happy. Why can't the president think of that. We all know Africa needs our each and individual help. Why can't we start now? Why can't we help? yes we can help people just don't want to. And that's a shame.
@hectela United States has a lot of money, yes, but it cannot feed the whole world. A country of 300,000,000 people cannot feed a continent of 900,000,000 people. United States has its own problems to deal with, especially the financial crisis, the debt problems, unemployment and a president who can't run a country, but spends more time talking trash to people and play politics. For African countries, well we need to stop blaming colonization for our problems and take responsibility.
@MrHollister26 Hi, I'm Black myself and I am moved by what you just said. You have given me a wake up call, you have even made me think. Thanks a lot for opening my eyes.
@MrHollister26 is it any wonder how can one care when they have no food, no water, no clothes on their back nothing to live for! African people are resilient who live through Political turmoil, extreme violence, and grinding poverty, will tell you this is the worst that as ever happened to them! How can they 'Step Up" when they can barely wake up from hunger? for those who can "steel stuff" I say you go live there and see what you would do!
@MrHollister26 Man, I am very grateful that you're saying that you know what? Thank you so much. I'm Black and I respect you for making these comments. We need to stop blaming Whites for everything and take a hard look at ourselves. Those who died fighting for our rights didn't die so that we must continue to live in those standards. They died so that we can learn to improve our lives and be part of society. We need to understand that the world does not want excuses, but results. It's up to us.
@armo4life90 Yes, I noticed it and it a shame that African leaders don't care about their citizens. They enrich themselves by stealing taxpayers's money.
@armo4life90 They should put North Korea on the list. Whatever statistics in terms of GDP per capita are presented for North Korea are either fantasy or speculation. The real truth is that it's unspeakably poor and backward.
@armo4life90 I hope you are not laughing at the fact African people are black??? I find it all most disturbing, I go on hunger strikes myself but can never imagine when I have to eat they is no food...All the white people who go live in Cape Town should be sharing their wealth...but they won't they just fly back home...I continue to pray a change will come!
@bnbalenda The people obviously. You're talking about Eritrea, a country dubbed as the 'North Korea of Africa'. It seems Eritrea is not corrupt as the other African countries.
Africa is potentially the richest continent on earth, but countries like US,Israel, Britain,France arm and support both sides in internal conflicts, overthrow properly elected governments, install criminals into nation's leadership(s) and plunder natural resources.
Which western nation hasn't sold weapons to African countries, knowing the death and misery it will cause? Are there any?
@crocfme Yes, there are many. Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, New Zealand, Andorra, Japan, Norway and Denmark. They don't do the dirty works. Why are mentioning Israel? They have their own problems already and they're not interested in any dictatorship of any sort. African leaders are to blame for their failure to solve their problems. Countries like Egypt and South Africa are not poor they are rich. So is Botswana.

SuperSkarmDG 3 months ago
@SuperSkarmDG I have watched Blood Diamond many times, I have also read, learned about the civil wars in Sierra Leone and the DRC, and I want to add that Al Qaeda and other Islamic groups were also involved in the war, so that they could use diamond revenues for their Islamic projects. It is up to Africans and the leaders to change their way of thinking. It begins with a change of mentality.

Democracy in Africa has not been historically successful, almost always supplanted by centralized authoritarian rule such as military dictatorships. Although some rulers worked to improve the lot of their nation's citizens, others used power purely for their own benefit. Among the most notorious was Mobuto Sese Seko of Zaire, whose regime has been called a kleptocracy due to its looting of the nation's wealth.

nicolesuzanne1 4 months ago
@nicolesuzanne1 There's no only Zimbawe. In Europe we have very poor zones too like the 50 % of Italy, a little part of East Germany, Greece...we all need help. I still don't understand why MJ wrote WE ARE THE WORLD only for Africa. Ok Africa has a lot of coutries living in poverty. But people dies of hunger in the whole world.
ILSignorAntonio 4 months ago
@ILSignorAntonio Africa is by far the world's poorest inhabited continent. Though parts of the continent have made significant gains over the last few years, of the 175 countries reviewed in the United Nations' Human Development Report 2003, 25 African nations ranked lowest amongst the nations of the world. This is partly due to its turbulent history. The decolonization of Africa was fraught with instability aggravated by cold war conflict. Since the mid-20th century.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@bnbalenda I never said that Africa is a very rich and developed continent, i had just said instead that in the whole world there's poverty. Why does an african child must be helped more than an italian or greek one ? I know that an african child dies before he's 10yr by any kind of diseases. But this mustn't make forget about other people who suffers..
ILSignorAntonio 4 months ago
@ILSignorAntonio I agree, it is because we Africans give an impression to the world that we're the only ones who are suffering and instead of taking responsibility, we wait for anyone else to clean our acts. There are people around the world who are probably suffering more than, I have never seen any African government help other poor countries. Don't get me wrong, I agree with most the thing you're saying. We allow ourselves to wallow in self pity and we want to feel sorry for ourselves.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@ILSignorAntonio The Cold War and increased corruption and despotism have also contributed to Africa's poor economy. Most of Africans live of less then 1 dollar a day. Most of African countries are poor. The only rich African countries are: South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Mauritius, Seychelles, Botswana, Libya, Equatorial Guinea and Kenya.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@bnbalenda Most of them are dangerous and still corrupt though. Also many of them have below average living standards. The only ones that aren't corrupt, or dangerous is Botswana, Mauritius, and Seychelles, while they along with Libya has high living standards.
SuperSkarmDG 4 months ago
@SuperSkarmDG Libya is rich now, but it will be poor because they have some silly leaders who introduce Sharia Low. Islam contributes to poverty in Muslim countries, as well as corruption. But I agree with you that Botswana and Mauritius and Seychelles aren't corrupt.

Pineknife9 5 months ago
@hectela the US does donate a lot to African countries. The problem is that it is either taken by a rouge military faction in the region or the government takes the food and supplies from the people and uses the money we give them for themselves and doesn't help the people. The same can be said to aid given to some Middle Eastern nations as well. Finally the Europeans squandered the money we gave them. Some did good with it but some misuse it (see Greece) There is more but i dont have the space

bnbalenda 6 months ago
@bnbalenda No it is true since Zimbabwe belonged to the British empire, the British token Ian Smith out of office and put Mugabe in. The British also gave them independence in 1980 and my granddad fought for Rhodesia. with poverty so bad why are they even regarded as countries? Most of those nations should unite, especially in sub-sahara africa.
rb7magnetico 6 months ago
@rb7magnetico Poverty is everywhere, not just in Sub-Saharan Africa. However, I am against the idea of countries uniting as one because the identities of those countries will not be respected and the next generation will pay. Look at the EU, it is not poor, but the idea of a Continental union has destroyed the will of the people. Nations are losing their independences, while we're all paying the price because we want our world to be one country. How sad.
bnbalenda 6 months ago
@bnbalenda Look at the BRIC Union, a bloc of nations that broke away from the US and Euro standards that are now the fastest and most productive nations.Look at Russia pre and post BRIC, great example. Many nations are poor but not on a level of sub-saharan nations where progress has to be influenced by the UN.That region of the world is reliant on foriegn aid if not they would wipe themselves out.Rwanada is an example.
rb7magnetico 6 months ago
@rb7magnetico The BRIC nations are not poor countries. The BRIC Union does not tell Brazil, Russia, India and China how to behave. Brazil is Brazil, China is China, Russia is Russia and India is still India. The EU wants to create a super state. It wants to put an end to the existence of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Britain, Denmark, Sweden etc. African leaders are to blame for the failure to lift up their countries. I'm telling you that the problem with us us that...
bnbalenda 6 months ago
@rb7magnetico we blame all our problems to our former colonial powers, instead of taking responsibility. The BRIC countries are taking responsibilities for their problems, while the African Union and the African population are making to many excuses. It makes me sick! Look at what Mugabe is doing in Zimbabwe, look at what Jacob Zuma is doing in South Africa, the same with Julius Malema. It is absolutely crazy, believe me.
bnbalenda 6 months ago
@bnbalenda I do believe you, it what I dont understand about southern aafrican nations. How can a country like Switzerland that is over 80% mountain with barely any resources be richer than Congo, who has more than abundant resources on the level of India or Brazil.Look at SIngapore a city nation.Africa needs to reform and let go of the past
rb7magnetico 6 months ago
@rb7magnetico It is because African leaders are negligent. They take all the wealth of their countries to both themselves and mercenaries from both the Western World and beyond, so that they can stay in power, while their own populations are suffering. Some of us are still practicing the silly religion called Voodoo, instead of looking forward to a great future. Corruption is high beyond what you can imagine, diseases of all sorts and 1/3 of the medicine we receive are deadly.
bnbalenda 6 months ago
@rb7magnetico Religious, tribal and racial conflicts are what we put our energy on, instead of doing something fruitful. We talk about ourselves designing pyramids and some other things with other kinds of Egyptians, but we fail to keep those talents and focus on things that are destructive. Yes, there are mercenaries from former colonial powers who may still support dictators who are running different countries, but we cannot make excuses anymore because we're the only that experience their...
bnbalenda 6 months ago
@rb7magnetico presence.Look at Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and so on, they also had mercenaries coming there and doing stupid things, but it did not stop them from climbing the ladder and build things up.
bnbalenda 6 months ago
@rb7magnetico Africa will let go of its past, when we will make a choice to change our perception and stop thinking that someone else will clean our mess.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@bnbalenda To use the term Africa is too vague. Some parts of Africa need to let go of archaic psychology. The abundance of africa is endless but they need better self realization to progress.
rb7magnetico 4 months ago
@rb7magnetico Either we heal or stay in bandage. The choice is in our hands.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@rb7magnetico Some countries have already done it: Seychelles, Botswana, Mauritius, Cape Verde, South Africa and Namibia. Egypt could of been one of the richest countries in the world, if it wasn't for Islam, the same with Nigeria. Corruption is also part of the problem.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@bnbalenda Corruption will be in any nation regardless of stature but there has to be a common goal like the BRICS nations.BrICS has corruption but it is far from when they used to be IMF dependent.Nations like Congo,Ghana and Nigeria should be atleast in a Chile,Mexico or India level.South Africa did the smartest thing by joining Bric. That right there is evolutionary thinking and shedding a past of dismay.
rb7magnetico 4 months ago
@rb7magnetico That's true, but countries like Norway, Denmark, Botswana, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Iceland , Canada and Switzerland are very good at fighting corruption, they get high scores for doing that, I wish Congo, Nigeria and other African countries could learn from those. Chile will soon be a developed country, so will Malaysia . Without Islam, Egypt would be richer than any Eastern European country because they can do much better things, but again...
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@bnbalenda chile isnt 3rd world anymore it is a very developed nation and is the most recent graduate of the 3rd world status. Religion always causes trouble and it must seperate itself from state. I think South Africa will be they for the development of countries like COngo,Ghana,Nigeria etc....
rb7magnetico 4 months ago
@rb7magnetico Chile is very much a developed country, and I agree that religion must separate itself from the state, but in Islamic countries it is not like that because Islam is also a political system. South Africa has its own problems to deal with, it is up to Congo, Ghana and Nigeria to fix their own problems. I have even made a new video about 25 of the world's most corrupt countries. If you want to comment there as well, you more than welcome.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@rb7magnetico No, I'm against it. Each country must have the right to self determination. Within some of those countries, there are/have been civil wars. Each one of those countries has different cultures, customs, religion etc. It's not a solution at all.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@bnbalenda There are civil wars, famine, genocide, lack of education, medical attendance etc...they are beyond 3rd world. Its not about gentrifying a culture its about creating a common sense to prevent and keep from sustaining the same stagnant ideals.China is a nation of 100's of cultures but they have been unified for 1000's of years.Same with many other nations.Haiti,Somalia,Ethiopia etc...repeat the same problems of low education, famine, disease, life expectancy etc.
rb7magnetico 4 months ago
@rb7magnetico The international community has to boycott countries that do not respect human rights and abuse their peoples. In order this to end, education is the key, human rights, secularism and progress are the key. Attitudes need to change as well.
bnbalenda 4 months ago
@bnbalenda thats right,,,community=union.Thats what those feral nations need to prevent another Rwandan mass suicide, civil wars and all the aspects of slavery that still occur. Those nations need to unite to defeat or reduce their challenges. The psychology of a nation alone or unified has to change to be proactive instead of being reactive and remain in a victimized stagnant state. They need a balance in order to progress.

If we do that there will be peace. There won't be separated families to go to war, children will be happy. Why can't the president think of that. We all know Africa needs our each and individual help. Why can't we start now? Why can't we help? yes we can help people just don't want to. And that's a shame.

United States has its own problems to deal with, especially the financial crisis, the debt problems, unemployment and a president who can't run a country, but spends more time talking trash to people and play politics. For African countries, well we need to stop blaming colonization for our problems and take responsibility.
