@deborahadugger49 Regardless of the English spelling of the Son of Almighty God I know from experience that devils flee from the name of Jesus. The sick are healed in the name of Jesus. And even the dead are raised in the name of Jesus. My God and Father in heaven knows to whom I am referring when I use the name of his Son Jesus, the name above all names. I know in whom I have believed in and I am fully persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him.

Not sure if it is for the teaching in the video or for my above comment responding to deborahadugger49's comments about the name Jesus as NOT being the name of the Son of God, but rather another name for Zeus.However, I believe that Satan is afraid of the name of JESUS and is lying the church in an attempt to confuse Christians into not boldly using this mighty name of Jesus that Almighty God the Father has exalted above every other name.

these are indeed all confusion. It's not as though they come from truth, but from an ambition based on misplaced motives.
Even before Jesus was born, they used "Iesous" in the Greek to refer to all of those with His same name in the Bible, like Joshua. It's important to know that there's no SH in Greek, and no visible H, and I used as Y. Also, masculine suffices are added for masculine names
Yehoshua = Iesua = Iesous

@krononomikon For instance, instead of Mosheh, you have Moses --- masculine ending and "sh" replaced with s, because there's no way to say it in Greek.
Look in Judges 12:6 where Ephraimites did not retain an SH sound either, and it was used to determine if they were Ephraimites or not! :)
This is not to say the are not exact or almost exact transliterations --- indeed, some Hebrew names spouted into many names in the same language from the same root name one way or another...

@PeteWaldo Thanks for the information. I viewed your video and have considered the dome of the rock to be most certainly an abomination that makes desolate myself. However I believe that some scriptures have more than one fulfilment. It would be like viewing the destruction of Jerusalem, which was destroyed in 70 a.d. as the only time Jersalem will ever be surrounded by armies to be destroyed. I believe Jerusalem will be surround by armies once again at the battle of Armageddon to detroy her

@AMATTEROFTRUTH I don't believe dual fulfillment can apply. Check your Greek/English interlinear you'll see the Apostles use the definite article "the". Additionally they make specific reference to the specific abomination referred to by Daniel, precluding dual fulfillment.

@PeteWaldo I believe that the dome of the rock is an abomination that will cause the desolation of Jerusalem, but it will ultimately be the armies that surround Jerusalem that will perform that desolation. Jesus said WHEN you SEE the abomination of desolation spoken by the prophet Daniel stand in the Holy place THEN let them which be in Judea FLEE to the mountains. Well the dome of the rock has been there for generations.Jesus is talking about that particular generation that SEE the abomination

@PeteWaldo I agree with you brother Pete about Islam being antichrist and I have often wondered how they would prevent buying and selling without the MARK of the beast. I have always felt that the MARK had to be something connected with DENYING our Lord Jesus as the Christ. I have not made any videos on this subject, as I am still searching. The Romans came back to kill another 750K Jews in 132. Still not the end of the "times of the Gentiles" fulfilled. It was 639 when the Muslims took Jerusalem, and by the early 19th century Jerusalem was rendered nearly totally depopulated and desolate.

I introduced 70a.d. because many Christians have heard about this as a fulfilment of scripture and some have gone as far to begin teaching that we are living in the millenium right now and Jesus is ruling in the heavenlies simply because some have taught that 70 a.d. was a fulfilment of the destruction of Jerusalem. Do you believe that Isalm will invade Jerusalem again to destroy her? This is what I believe. By surrounding Jerusalem with armies

@AMATTEROFTRUTH Through study and a couple years of chats in Christian forums I became familiar with the 17th century invention of preterism. I also indoctrinated myself into futurism for a decade or more. When I started teaching it through a website it unraveled, and the Lord led me out of John Darby's 19th century doctrine, and into the traditional continuous-historic view that Jews and Christians hold for Old Testament prophecy, and the reformers used for Revelation too.

@AMATTEROFTRUTH I believe it is incumbent on all Christians to consider Revelation through each of the 3 contexts before deciding which is correct. Preterism and futurism became popular in the 20th century. Each must consider the other to be virtually 100% in error in their understanding of Revelation after chapter 3, since there is a 1900 year gap that separates the two views. Stunningly BOTH views NECESSARILY PRECLUDE considering that Muhammad could be THE false prophet of Revelation.

I believe the enemy put the pop-doctrines of preterism and futurism in the church to blind it to 1/4 of mankind being antichrist in Islam alone. Preterists believing he was Nero and futurists looking off into the future for a boogeyman when there are 1.5 billion antichrists gathering around us.

@AMATTEROFTRUTH Just as John Darby penned the doctrine of futurism in the 19th century, in 1640 a Dutch Reformed theologian named Jean de Labadie penned the doctrine of the millennial reign. Since it was such a good fit with Darby's doctrine it was adopted. In regard to your question I try not to stick to FULFILLED prophecy. However through the continuous-historic view I believe enough prophecy may well have been fulfilled to herald the return of Christ today. I know how this sounds to you...

That is one of many opinions that I have heard before. It could very well be, but I believe the scriptural evidence points to Jerusalem being surrounded by armies. As Daniel the prophets says, the abomination the MAKES desolate, until the end of the desolations. Luke 21:20 says, "And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with ARMIES, then know that the DESOLATION is nigh." This verse is placed right were we read about the abomination of desolation in both Matthew and Mark. No coincidence!
