If you have an issue with "Android 1.0" follow these steps.

1. Download the samsung driver and install it.

2. Go in to the fastboot option on the phone.

3. Plug in usb between phone and PC.

4. Go in to the device manager and right click on "Android 1.0" and choose "update Driver Software"

5. Choose "Browse my computer for drivers"

6. On the next window choose "Let me pick from a list" and then choose "Sumsung"

This is how I was able to get the drivers to finally install.

ok guys had the same problem you had with "waiting for device", I finally got it to work by:

1. go to "Device Manager"

2. right click on Android 1.0 USB

3. Update drive

4. Choose "Pick from List"

5. Select Samsung on the left side and the very bootom choice on the right.

6.This will replace the Android USB driver.

nvm it's in the list if you've installed samsung galaxy nexus drivers ... was looking for ADB but instead it was "samsung android phone" and then samsung ADB

I got to step 7 fine... umm when I go to update the android 1.0 driver in device manager as advised, the ADB driver in that list isn't showing up. Any ideas? I believe I followed the guides pretty spot on

Can somebody help me with setting up the SDK. I'm finding it impossible to get the platform-tools folder which contains abd both when using Mac or Windows. On windows it says that the connection was refused to see downloadable files and on the macintosh i can't find SDK Manager. A response would be greately appreciated.

thanks for the video and walkthough on the site. worked fine for me. i had the looping as well. i think it has something to do with driver cause when it rebooted after the unlock my windows did the driver ba dum thing and i think it was just stuck trying to boot and maybe start up dev usb mode at the same time?

So how do you root after you unlock the bootloader? Or is this considered rooting. The reason I ask is because I thought the whole point of rooting was to have the superuser permissions app and i never see people with it.
