  • essa música me arrepia

  • I ussually listen to extreme metal... but this song is absolute... and the short film after this song... damn.... I hope every band would treat such profund themes...

  • @pantenegro I listen to a lot of extreme metal too, but this band captures the folky essence I like to hear in a lot of metal. Tiger Mountain Peasant Song for example, it gives me the same images that I get from bands like Windir, Moonsorrow and Falls of Rauros.

  • something of EPIC!

  • I can't believe I was there...it just hasn't sunk in...absolute pure magic...

  • J tillman should cut his hair

  • They were absolutely surreal. Every song they sang felt so epic. One of my fave bands of all time... So simple yet so intense.

  • i want to see a concert one day, they're amazing, and their live performances are even better

  • I don't usually like live versions much but wow... that version is simply great. I love it more than the studio version, which is saying a lot!

  • It takes skill to play the saxophone good.

It takes even more skill to play the saxophone good and bad at the same time

  • @retrospectroverted it is a bass clarinet, but I totally agree with you! The sound he gets blows my mind

  • Can't wait to see them next saturday!

  • seeing their live show changed my life

  • 8:52, the drummer really brings it down, doesn't he?

  • not many bands can pull off a guy wearing short cutoffs playing a bass clarinet.

  • Blew 25,000+ minds that day

  • My favorite song of the year so far

  • new lyrics in the argument part!? love it

  • sent me shivers up my spine..

  • Beautiful and unique. The first time this song caressed my ears I was with my brother and was blown away by it's power and celestial harmonics. The second time I had the pleasure of listening to this masterpiece I was driving home late at night by myself after a long day at work. I started crying and I didn't know why other than that the song was so beautiful. The woodwind solo with an oceanic resemblance is particularly unique and creative. I applaud your musical innovation.

  • I had been getting tired of the modern indie/folk sound these last five or so years, but then I happened upon these guys this last week, and they have completely rejuvenated, reinvented and transcended that sound. This stuff gives me chills.

  • i will never forget this performance, i will never forget the people i met there either. one of the best days of my life

  • Their best song!

  • I like how the black bearded guy switches off instruments like 5 times in a song. shows you that we still have good musicians still around.

  • @KyleSwanMusician That's Morgan Henderson, he was a member of The Blood Brothers, Sharks Keep Moving, and is also currently in Past Lives. He's awesome.

  • @amby44 now knowing that bit of info, I'll now have to check out his side stuff

  • is it just me or does the bass clarinet sound like a dolphin at 8:31

  • I cried at this concert.

  • everyone talking about the "sunshine over me no matter what i do"

how about the friggen harmonies right after that, when josh and christian join in. that blows the studio version out of the water. The Ohhh's are so much more powerful.

  • @AnOldFellowship i like this version because tiller sings the the "apples in the summer part" he has a crazy nice voice.

  • @AnOldFellowship Tillman*

  • @AnOldFellowship Exactly. The ooh harmonies behind the bass players lead is amazing!

  • Proud to say I was the LIVEST fan at ACL... i stuck out like a motherfucker

  • they make me feel good inside

  • it's not "bad" sax sound..it's a bass clarinet, and he's making it sound like a swan

  • Love Robin's smile at the beginning.

Seeing this song live was the greatest experience of my life.

  • fuck !!,,,the way this song kicks in at 3.00,,!!

  • So amazing. Really really happy for everyone who was there and people who've seen them live over the years. I'm seeing them in November, sooo excited.

Robin is one of the best songwriters of our time.

  • This guy playing the clarinet is like the most multitalented motherfucker in the world !!! He plays violin, upright bass, clarinet, guitar and who knows what else. He´s the "secret weapon" of the Foxes on this album.

  • I was close up. Unforgettable experience.

  • only they could make bad sax playing sound amazing

  • @adamgore1 thats not a sax...at all

  • @thepeacescarf your right its a clarinet I just noticed it :P

  • Such a surreal show.. It truly was flawless.

  • That is the most unique bass clarinet playing I have ever heard.

  • Hell yes, I was there at the front! Great performance =] even greater band!

  • this is awesome!

  • Amazing live. Hauntingly beautiful. I sang "Helplessness Blues" on the drive home and all the way through Tuesday morning at work. The show just stayed with you. I can't wait to see what their future brings!

  • Proud to say I was there and up front.

  • Miles Davis lost in a wet northern forest

  • that's the very first time in my life i see two capos in a guitar

  • I tried watching this while I was at school but it got blocked. So annoyed.

  • damn, this is good.

  • Fleet foxes left my speechless. I cannot explain to those who have not seen this band how spiritul the experience is. They are flawless live.

  • I definitely got teary when I was watching this yesterday. Second best show of ACL 2011. :)
