  • excellent, thank you Immensely.

  • Someone can please help me? I would like to know if receiving the teachings of such recording as this video, have the same effect of receiving the oral transmission from His Eminence himself. Has it the same effect of the direct oral transmission, it has the power that connects me with the original lineage?

  • it is important that whatever retreats, empowerments or oral transmissions that you receive you know who did it came from. In short, it must be traceable. This is to ensure that whatever that has been practiced is not made up from thin air and that it is valid in the sense that it has been tried and tested and it works and it is beneficial to practice. neonlama(dot)com

  • Tsog is a very beautiful puja where the tantrikas generate themselves as the tantric deity and make offerings to their Guru while reciting the stages to the paths, the very instructions that teach on how to achieve enlightenment. To be able to attend a tsog puja is an extremely rare and precious chance as it is normally meant for tantrikas but when normal people attend it gives tremendous blessings to them. kecharahouse(dot)com

  • tsog/tsok, or ganachakra in sanskrit which literally means roundtable feast is a special puja meant for those taking the highest yoga tantra but on rare occasions the public is allowed to attend.

  • air con too loud? what is it?

sorry to have a bf but annoying noises annoy me.

  • Rinpoche was not born in N.J. He took rebirth in Taipei, Taiwan. In Taiwan he was recognized as a Tulku at 7 months old, but his mom refused to let him go. Then taken to N.J.,USA. From Jersey, he left to California where he met his root guru H.H.Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, where Kyabje Zong Rinpoche re-recognized him again. In 1987 he left for Gaden in South, India. In 1992,chosen by Lati Rinpoche to go to Malaysia where he went on and off to teach. He resides in Malaysia full time now.

  • Thank you, Tsem Tulku. Beautifully presented. I'm more insightful now in terms of tantric. To mothers in this world, thank you!!.

  • oops..... it should be the fifty stanza of guru devotion..

  • do not see the fault of the guru if u regards him as your guru. he prostrates with his heart. seeing all faults of the guru will lead to your downfall as stated in the GURU PUJA. clothings alone does not make a RINPOCHE.......his action does.

  • Exactly. It's safe if you dont consider him as a Guru yet and is not comfortable with him, but dont tell others because you'll ruin their spirituality. If you consider someone as your Guru then see him in a negative light, that's gonna be very decrimental to you because you're biting the hand that feeds.

  • I practice buddhism,Kagyu lineage,I have watched and listened to his video's and I have learned so much from them, I love his approach, sometimes very funny, and he made me laugh so much, because I recognized the things he was talking about that are within me, also making me laugh really opened me up to what I needed to see, in a none deprecating way, yes laugter can really break down difficult self imposed barriers or shields, Thank you rinpoche, Regards, samdrup.

  • rinpoche also states do not question your guru at risk of needing first questioning yourself the same way i question a need to defend, what is happening?

  • questioning here means doubting your teacher in a way, or questioning him/her to put him/her down and not to learn. Some people just question for the sake of it and doesnt give a damm about the answer. that is those kind of people that Rinpoche's talking about.

  • I have to disagree to Kanazawa's attempt to explain the reason for Rinpoche's robe colour being due to his tantric vow or initiations, the simple reason being that every Lama in the Gelugpa sect. eg His Holiness and other Rinpoches all wear the same-coloured robes ....

Rinpoche seems to be wearing robes like those from the Nyingmapa tradition. Could some1 pls explain if he/she knows why is this so, better if any1 has personally heard a satisfactory explanation from Rinpoche himself?

  • My understanding is that Rinpoche is wearing these robes simply because he is trying to make Buddhism less a Tibetan thing. He wears Tibetan style robes when in Tibet and meeting high lamas but wears these robes when teaching at his own center and wears lay person's clothes while on the streets. It's just a question of bringing Tibetan Buddhism out of its Tibetan context and making it a world tradition.

  • i think he's hot.... i mean it is hot in malaysia... too hot for the red ones.

  • he's wearing robes that does not bring too much attention to him as a lama...he does not want people to see him only for his robes and the exoticism. He wants people to see him for his teachings.

  • I remembered v clearly that Rinpoche insisted that we stand upright b4 every prostration, but Rinpoche did not do so during the start of this video! Could some1 pls explain. Thanks

  • rinpoche can do it anyway he wants because he's divine.

  • he's a Rinpoche and in robes. He might have back pain at that time. For us folks without back pain, I dont think we should follow that. Also, why are you so critical of someone's "mistakes"? I mean, why does it make a big deal for you? I really dont understand, is there some kind of inferiority complex? kecharahouse(dot)com

  • Thank you Rinpoche, I feel so fortunate to have come to discover your teachings and videos... I don't have the means to attend and participate a lot in the dharma world for the moment, so your videos are my connection to dharma for the moment... you're so eloquent, you are a psychologist, entertainer, comedian, leader and motivational counsellor at the same time... t you

  • thankyou.

  • Why is he wearing a white robe...not a Tibetan style red robe? Is he a Nyingma, Kagyu rinpoche? I thought he attended a Gelukpa monastery, Ganden.

  • Sometimes he teaches in t-shirts and jeans, or sweatpants.

In some ways it helps to destroy the foolish misconceptions we create and what we expect of teachers such as himself.

He could be sitting there completely naked and that wouldn't matter, what he has to say and the teachings he has to share are what truly matters. Don't concern yourself with such superficial details and expectations. =)

  • I would like to know his lineage though... Nyingma, Gelug, Kagyu?

  • I believe Rinpoche's lineage is Gelug - And those specific red/white robes are due to particular Tantric vows or intiations.

  • Thank you Kanazawa

  • He is real teacher.

He teaches real dharma. Very excellent very excellent.

Very fortunate for anyone who listen to his teachings with an open mind.

  • also, it brings him closer to his students. Some of his students are people who would like to have fun but want to be spiritual at the same time. If he is in robes it would send a subtle message that what these students are doing is wrong and they cant have fun and be spiritual at the same time.

  • Rinpoche's students are young people who also want fun as well as Dharma at the same time and Rinpoche is compassionate enough to translate Dharma into what they are familiar with in daily life. This is the reason why he wears lay clothes instead of robes. Extremely kind. tsemtulku(dot)com

  • To show that he is just like everyone else... ;)

  • Why do you drink Cola? That does not make sense.
