I put a thumper in a 340 and it revs very fast. I have never herd an exhaust leak that sounded like that though haha, and if the spark timing was off there would be smoke & fire, as with a cam that is out if time will make nasty sounds & rune like a tired dump truck motor lol! but its not my truck, I don't care.
